Jay Jackson's MLB Journey Jay was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in 2008. He spent eight years working through the minor leagues. In 2015, he made his MLB debut with the San Diego Padres. He also spent three seasons playing baseball in Japan with the Hiroshima Carp. His team won three straight Central League championships.
