The trilogy tells Han Solo's story, from his time as a young man right up to the beginning of A New Hope. We see what he did before he joined the Imperial Academy, his time as a smuggler, and even how he crossed paths with the Rebellion in its early days. We also meet the first love of his life, Bria Tharen, who becomes one of the Rebellion's earliest heroes.

In episode 62 we talked about the first book in the trilogy, The Paradise Snare, and in Episode 67, we covered The Hutt Gambit. Now we’re ready to chat about book number three, Rebel Dawn. We discuss old friends and old enemies, as well as how the book and trilogy helped shape the Han Solo we know and love and how it may just inform what we see in the new movie. Plus, Josh recaps his May the Fourth fun, Blaine gets excited about Solo tickets, and for some reason, we google search for a canon appearance of David S. Pumpkins?!
