In this episode, we host Bronson Arroyo, Red Sox 2003-2005. Known for his cornrows, music, & finesse pitching style, Bronson was an icon in his time in Boston. His first season as a full-time SP was in 2004. In that season, Arroyo was in the middle of noteworthy events including plunking Alex Rodriguez that incited the famous Varitek-Arod fight, having a groundball intentionally slapped out of his glove in Game 6 of the ALCS by (again) Rodriguez, and most importantly, the first Red Sox World Series Championship in 86 years. He provides previously unknown backstories to these instances, as well as detailing his regimented little league childhood, passion for music, unique pitching style, carpal tunnel, and the unforgettable '04 Sox. Thank you, Bronson, for being kind enough to join and for providing an autographed baseball as a giveaway to a 2Seam Podcast listener. For details, as well as Red Sox stats, video, and podcast updates, please be sure to follow @2SeamTeam on Twitter, TikTok, & Instagram. Thanks for listening!
Episode 5 from November 5th, 2018. Joined by Mike Bachiochi, we recount our content-rich trip to Boston for the Red Sox World Series Championship parade. This is the only place to catch life-altering stories like Puke Boy, Brick Boy, and Full Mango. Apologies for the last outro. You'll hear us remark on the red numbers and those were, in fact, telling us that we had reached our recording limit. So just pretend that we ended with our usual sign-off.

We gloss over the Red Sox World Series Championship and move right into the start of what will likely be a long winter. Firstly, coaching staff changes have begun with the new manager taking office. From there, we look at Rule 5 eligible players, those minor leaguers who might be on the organizational bubble and a lot more.--- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/jays-from-the-couch-radio/support

Today I turn 44 years old. When I was 20 years old, 44 sounded like an old man. Now I am that "old man," but I feel wonderful. Today is also another special "megs & Bacon" episode where Megan joins me on the podcast before she flys back to North Carolina, and I continue my adventure onto Boston where I will experience the Red Sox World Series Championship parade! --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/everyoneneedsalittle/support
