Mike told us what it felt like to watch his little brother win a Super Bowl and everything else he has already accomplished as the Eagles head coach. Mike talked about the journey that Nick Sirianni has taken to get to the NFL, which all started with former Steelers coach Todd Haley. Mike talked about the experiences both he and his little brother shared at Mount Union that helped them both prepare for their futures. Mike mentioned a time or two when he had other stuff going on and wasn't able to focus too closely on the Eagles game, which led to him pacing around in angst. Mike compared some of his coaching experiences to what Nick has had to deal with. At what point last night did the Sirianni family feel comfortable? Aditi looked at the last two stops for Smith – why things worked in Tennessee, but didn't in Atlanta. She talked about the injuries that held up the Falcons offense last season. She preached about Smith being a coach that likes to hold players accountable.

Brian doesn't think the Najee Harris injury is anything serious after he was listed on the ‘estimated' practice report as DNP. The guys asked Brian about the weird happy mood Diontae Johnson was in after the loss on Sunday. Brian talked about how Mitch Trubisky is different from Kenny Pickett and what we could see Thursday night. Brian isn't sure if Elandon Roberts plays on Thursday and made a guess as to what we could see at inside linebacker. Brian doesn't think Pickett loses his job to Trubisky even if the backup plays well in his absence.   Faulkner Feedback – The guys broke down what Eddie Faulkner said to the media earlier today. 

Ben Roethlisberger talked about what life was like with Matt Canada and now how things might go for the Steelers since his firing. Ben thinks Kenny Pickett could thrive more by having a better relationship with Mike Sullivan. Ben also mentions it's a weird setup with Sullivan and Eddie Faulkner as the co-coordinator positions. Who is the guy in charge there? The guys broke down what they took from Ben on his podcast. How much can Pickett improve under this arrangement? The Steelers aren't facing many tough defenses the rest of the way – just 1 in the top half of the league. Would you rather have a young, up and coming coordinator or someone like Frank Reich and Todd Haley?  Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray thinks they could bring an outside offensive coordinator candidate in next season, but still keep Mike Sullivan and Eddie Faulkner around. Steelers offense dealing with injuries. Le'Veon Bell joined Cam Heyward's podcast and said the offense would run their own plays, led by Ben, and ignore Todd Haley's calls. Dorin thinks it's laughable Kenny Pickett can't audible. The Steelers offense is mainly in the hands of Canada to make the right calls to allow the players to find success. Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette joins the show. Darnell Washington popped up on the injury report this week with a knee injury. Brian said he partly fell in the draft because of the concerns of a chronic knee condition. Larry Ogunjobi was also limited Thursday. It's possible we see more Joey Porter Jr. but Brian doesn't foresee Desmond King playing more snaps. It seems like a depth piece. He doesn't think Jones has seen somebody quite like Watt just yet. Baldy did not think the Steelers offensive line played well last week, despite the praise from the coaching staff. Brian said George Pickens needs to have a big game tonight and it wouldn't hurt if Najee Harris joined him, along with some of their defensive studs – saying you win a game like this with your stars. He thought Kenny Pickett could have been much more accurate last week and warned us about a difficult test tonight. Baldy said this is a time and moment to play your best football.  It was an ugly Backyard Brawl for the Pitt Panthers, Pat Narduzzi is standing by his QB. How much more will we see Phil Jurkovec under center before a change is made and what will Pitt's record be when it happens?  Stephen A. Smith is ready to bring back Todd Haley, but is very upset that Mike Tomlin keeps Matt Canada around as the seasons go on. Is there actually smoke around Canada being relieved of duties? Chris thinks we will only see the end of Canada when the contract runs out.

He is confident Bell could be a receiver if he wanted to. He commented on the Steelers current backfield dynamic with Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren. Blount commented on his relationship with Todd Haley and their conversations when things got tough in Pittsburgh. He got into the incident when he walked off the field in Tennessee and said a handful of teammates understood his frustration. Blount talked about his relationship with Mike Tomlin, saying he has nothing but respect for Coach T and labeled him as a “great” coach.

She said Tomlin has heard from his players on Canada so the players seem to have input on the future. He was a failed head coach, but could he still be a valuable offensive mind to mold a young QB like Kenny Pickett? Chris said absolutely not, no thank you. Chris would much rather support someone like Todd Haley again than Gase. Another name Chris mentioned was Bill O'Brien.  Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Mike said he hates the new update to Twitter under Elon Musk that allows anyone buy verification. Mike was asked what the NFL flexing process is like and said it's up to the league and not necessarily the networks, since the Steelers got booted from NBC in a few weeks and moved to CBS. Mike doesn't think Jim Irsay is ensuing a tank job, he thinks Irsay truly believes the plan with Jeff Saturday will work. Mike referenced a few situations similar to what the Colts are doing and why it is a bad look for the league. Mike said it's a ridiculous look by the Colts because of the multiple former head coaches already on the staff and a guy like Reggie Wayne has been on the staff for a few years. “They're going to give the ball to Jaylen Warren more…he's impressed them, he hits the hole and he gets the yards…they're going to make changes if a guy on the bench gives them a better chance to win” is what Mike said when asked about a change at RB.

Crowley thinks Mike Tomlin is a tortured man right now. He doesn't want to have a losing season, but he also doesn't want to admit fault and fire Matt Canada. ANDREW PETCASH. Nick Sirianni grew up a Pirates fan! ROOTING FOR/AGAINST .

Mike said Tomlin has been dealt a bad team, but the guys questioned how much power he has in that right – Mike doesn't think it's as much as people think. “I think Art Rooney II is far more involved in everything than we realize…I don't think Mike Tomlin has that juice or the power.” He said it's difficult to tell who is really running the show, but Mike believes Rooney definitely has a lot of say. He said David Tepper would “absolutely” have interest in Tomlin. Mike talked about how things work in the Steelers front office and went back to what happened with guys like Bruce Arians and Todd Haley as offensive coordinators. Mike said they need to win 1 out of the next 3 for a prayer, but 2 out of the next 3 to feel like they're back in the thick of things. Mike is confident Tomlin will be the Steelers head coach until he doesn't want to be anymore and doesn't expect a jump to the media.

Todd joins us for his insights into what is going on with the Steelers offense right now, Alan Faneca gave his opinion on this offense and the Browns may be in just as much turmoil as the Steelers right now. 

Doug said he tried to tell us about Matt Canada. He said that Canada isn't an NFL coordinator. Doug gives an x's and o's explanation of what Canada NEEDS to be doing right now. Doug said "I don't know what this offense is." Doug said when there's a divide between the OC and the locker room then it can spiral. Doug says that Mitch Trubisky can't audible because Matt Canada is a college coordinator and not even a good one. Doug said the Steelers had hope in Matt Canada, but they clearly didn't have a plan. Doug says that Mike Tomlin may have been scarred by the big personalities of Bruce Arians and Todd Haley. Doug said "the standard has dipped. It used to be about winning superbowls."
