Are We Scare Yet?

Happy Halloween Zeebs!!! AWSY just couldn't stay away from AYAOTD. Katie is joined by a special guest to recount a frightening tale that has a chilling... ring to it? What Katie thought was a GREAT episode, Becky wasn't so sure about. Hello Zeebs! We're on a break this week, but now that we have almost 20 episodes under our belts we thought we'd take you on a trip back in time to our very first recording. Call it a "test of concept" if you will. In this episode we discuss Episode 1 of Season 2 of the underrated sci-fi show Channel Zero. Leggo.   Take a listen to see how far we've come, and perhaps where we'll revisit once we're done with Are You Afraid of the Dark?!

Yeehaw Zeebs! We're back with a brand new episode. In this one, Becky and Katie try to find their way out of the infamous Watcher's Woods. Easier said than done thanks to three old ghosts, some kind of creep-o tree demon and a bully with star power. Other topics of discussion: Casual sexism from the Midnight Society, Area 51 and the unlikely soundtrack of the coming apocalypse.    

Yucky yikes. Becky and Katie could barely get through this one. We'll spoil it here, it's so bad. If you don't want to listen to our hosts seethe with rage at an episode of a Nickelodeon kid's show, go ahead and wait a week. We also forgot to put a mat under our mic so we apologize for the table bumps. This episode features our very first story from the master of ceremonies himself, the illustrious "Nerd Boy" Gary. It's Episode 13! That's the spooky number. In this one, a girl goes missing and it's up to her best friend to find out what happened. After a little digging leads her to the doorstep of a creepy old dollhouse, Becky and Katie do what they can to lend them both a hand. Other topics of discussion: How to pre-haunt a brand-new house, that signature kid actor voice, and a joke Becky is absolutely determined to tell.    

Episode 12 brings all the boys to the graveyard, and they're like, "There's a crazy old ghost killing kids out here so you better be careful."
