In this pre-recorded episode of The Daily Herold, Jon breaks down a packed day of historic Supreme Court decisions that limit nationwide injunctions, hand Trump a legal win on birthright citizenship, and affirm parents' rights to opt kids out of LGBTQ-themed school content. He unpacks the fascinating footnotes that call out partisan judges and describes how these rulings are forcing the judiciary back into its constitutional box. Jon also highlights the return of “Big Balls” Korestein, who reemerged at the Social Security Administration alongside former Doge engineers, fueling more questions about behind-the-scenes digital cleanups. He covers reports that Trump is preparing sweeping executive orders to accelerate AI development, sparking speculation about a rare earth trade thaw with China even as tensions escalate. Other topics include a fresh defamation lawsuit from Gavin Newsom against Fox News, oversight referrals seeking criminal charges against former FBI Director Wray for election interference, and the latest revelations about Biden's autopen approvals. Wrapping up, Jon showcases a liberal meltdown video, ponders drone mosquitoes, and previews the Badlands meetup in Lakeland. It's a rapid-fire tour through legal upheaval, technological brinkmanship, and the end of narrative control.
Jon commemorates one year since the Trump/Biden debate. Jon revisits the auto pen scandal and fallout from recent congressional testimony, and plays audio from Pete Hegseth and Karoline Leavitt regarding media narratives.

Mike Florio from Pro Football Talk joined the show. Chris wanted to ask Mike about the reports of collusion in the NFL in regards to guaranteed contracts. Mike said a lot of it was about the Deshaun Watson contract, in which the Browns gave him $230M guaranteed. Mike explained how just days after the Watson deal was signed, the NFL and the owners wanted to work together on not making the high-level guarantees the norm. Mike dove into some of the other details and how Russell Wilson is involved. Mike drew a comparison between an NFL collusion case and pro wrestling when it comes to fan impact. Mike hopes that people understand this is a pretty big deal – the biggest collusion case in pro sports in about 30 years. Mike said it will only become a bigger deal if the players make it that way. On the heels of the Aaron Rodgers comments yesterday, Mike doesn't think it would be smart to do his weekly Pat McAfee Show hit this year if he isn't interested in attention. Mike said Rodgers knows that his mystique will get people talking about him.

What happens when a group of women dare to follow their calling—despite being told they can't? In this compelling episode, Martha Tatarnic speaks with documentary filmmaker Margo Guernsey about her powerful film The Philadelphia Eleven, which tells the story of the first women ordained as Episcopal priests in 1974. Margo reflects on her own evolving faith journey, the deep spiritual nature of storytelling, and how this film reignited her connection with church and community. They discuss the courage and solidarity required to challenge institutional injustice, the cost of following one's calling, and why this story of ecclesiastical disobedience remains incredibly timely today. Whether you're in ministry or simply seeking inspiration to live more truthfully, this conversation reminds us why history matters—and how faith and justice must always walk hand in hand. Topics Covered: Margo's journey from UCC upbringing to filmmaking as spiritual practice The groundbreaking ordination of the Philadelphia Eleven Why solidarity, trust, and long-term relationship-building matter The cost of truth-telling and challenging church hierarchy Representation, visibility, and the power of embodied leadership The importance of storytelling in shaping faith and future How churches can resist silence and engage with courage Hosting a screening and engaging your community with the film Margo Guernsey (she/her) is a documentary Director/Producer, impact strategist, and founder of Time Travel Productions LLC. The hacking scandal at infamous media baron Rupert Murdoch's News of the World was one of the biggest stories of the early 2000's. Naturally, it resulted in complete destruction of everyone responsible, including one of the biggest right wing — Oh, wait. As Summer of Scandal surfs its way into the world of media, Christopher and Eric serve up two episodes of the BBC series THE RISE OF THE MURDOCH DYNASTY to find out what cost or consequence, if any, one of the world's most powerful media empires suffered after engaging in widespread acts of fraud, bribery, blackmail and defamation as well as invading the privacies of everyone from celebrities to grieving parents.

Phil returns to the secret side of WW2 with the incredible story of Elzbieta Zawacka, the WW2 female resistance fighter known as Agent Zo. As writer Clare Mulley explains, she was the only woman to reach London from Warsaw during the Second World War as an emissary of the Polish Home Army command, and then in Britain she became the only woman to join the Polish elite Special Forces, known as the 'Silent Unseen'. She was secretly trained in the British countryside, and then the only female member of these SOE affiliated forces to be parachuted back behind enemy lines to Nazi-occupied Poland. There, whilst being hunted by the Gestapo who arrested her entire family, she took a leading role in the Warsaw Uprising and the liberation of Poland. After the war she was demobbed as one of the most highly decorated women in Polish history. Yet the Soviet-backed post-war Communist regime not only imprisoned her, but also ensured that her remarkable story remained hidden for over forty years. You can buy Claire's book here...https://www.amazon.com/Agent-Zo-Fearless-Resistance-Elzbieta/dp/1399601067There's also information and extracts from Phil's new book here...https://sites.google.com/view/1945thereckoning/homeYou can order his book now on Amazon UK and Amazon Australia, India and NZ - and it is available all around the world as an e-book and an audio book...https://www.amazon.co.uk/1945-Reckoning-Empire-Struggle-World/dp/139971449X/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=&sr=#***We now have a Thank You button (next to the 'three dots') for small donations that help support our work***Looking for the perfect gift for a special scandalous someone - or someone you'd like to get scandalous with? The Craic is back with its usual trifecta! The guys break down the Xs and Os of the main event, assess Rafael Fiziev's three-fight losing streak ahead of his bout against Ignacio Bahamondes, and spotlight a few hidden gems on the rest of the card (55:34).To round out the show, the trio dissect the viral Turki Al-Sheikh, Canelo Alvarez, Terrence Crawford family dinner photo, then answer a few viewer superchats (1:06:16).

This week, Chappell and special guest, Aysha Welch, discuss Scandal's return to Netflix.
In this compelling episode of The Lo Life, host Lo is joined by actor, writer, and producer Greg Furman to dissect the unexpected, emotional, and eye-opening documentary on Paul Reubens—the man behind the iconic Pee-wee Herman. Together, they unpack the cultural impact of a character that defined a generation, while also exploring the darker side of fame and the media's relentless effort to tear down one of Hollywood's most unique creative voices. The episode dives into how Reubens' eccentric genius challenged societal norms, only to be met with scandal, public shaming, and conservative-fueled controversy. Lo and Greg bring their own Hollywood experience into the conversation, drawing powerful parallels between their creative journeys and Reubens' battle to stay true to himself in an industry that doesn't always reward originality. What starts as a pop culture deep dive turns into something far more human—an inspiring and surprisingly emotional conversation about art, identity, and what it costs to be different. This isn't just a tribute to Pee-wee—it's a reexamination of a misunderstood icon, and a reminder that the truth is rarely what makes the headlines Facebook: Join the Coven: The Lo Life FB Group Instagram: @thelolifepodcast Your host: @stylelvr Guest: Greg Furman TikTok: @thelolifepodcast We have deals and steals for our kings and kweens- All thanks to our sponsors QUINCE: High fashion clothing for affordable prices. The CCP flooded swing states with fake driver's licenses to push a mail-in ballot scheme to benefit Joe Biden in 2020. We know this. NOW there is strong evidence to suggest Los Angeles DA George Gascon colluded with the FBI to conceal CCP corruption of US voting machines. Remember the name Konnetech? Plus a Japanese study of 18 million people is the first of its kind presented by Japanese journalists proving the mRNA jab is deadly.
