La pronuncia è spesso l'aspetto più trascurato nello studio dell'italiano — eppure è la prima cosa che un madrelingua nota. Esistono errori legati a caratteristiche dell'italiano che non esistono in molte altre lingue: quasi tutti gli studenti li commettono, ma una volta riconosciuti è possibile correggerli. Non Commettere Questi Errori di Pronuncia in Italiano Errore 1: L'Accento Sbagliato nella Terza Persona Plurale In italiano, l'accento tonico — cioè la sillaba su cui cade il "peso" della parola — cade di norma sulla penultima sillaba. Esiste però una grande eccezione: le terze persone plurali dei verbi, cioè le forme con "loro". Molti studenti, seguendo la regola della penultima sillaba, pronunciano: «loro scrivono» con accento su -vo- → scri-VO-no «loro leggono» con accento su -go- → leg-GO-no La pronuncia corretta è invece: «loro SCRIvono» → accento sulla terzultima sillaba «loro LEGgono» → accento sulla terzultima sillaba La regola: nelle terze persone plurali, l'accento non cade mai sulla penultima sillaba, ma sempre sulla terzultima — o anche prima. Il Trucco: Pensa alla Prima Persona Singolare L'accento nella terza persona plurale cade esattamente nella stessa posizione della prima persona singolare (io): «io SCRIvo» → «loro SCRIvono» «io LEGgo» → «loro LEGgono» «io DORmo» → «loro DORmono» «io PARlo» → «loro PARlano» Esistono anche verbi in cui l'accento alla prima persona singolare cade sulla terzultima sillaba o ancora prima. In questi casi il plurale segue la stessa posizione: «io Àbito» → «loro Àbitano» — non «a-bi-TA-no» «io co-MÙ-ni-co» → «loro co-MÙ-ni-ca-no» — non «co-mu-ni-CA-no» «io DÌ-men-ti-co» → «loro DÌ-men-ti-ca-no» — non «di-men-ti-CA-no» Poiché in italiano non si scrive l'accento grafico su queste parole, non esiste una regola visiva di supporto. L'unico modo per interiorizzare questi accenti è ascoltare tanto italiano e abituare l'orecchio nel tempo. Errore 2: La Lettera Z — Due Suoni in una Sola Lettera La lettera Z è la più imprevedibile dell'alfabeto italiano: può avere due suoni completamente diversi. Z "dura": è la combinazione TS pronunciata in modo fuso, rapidamente — come se T e S diventassero un suono unico. Le corde vocali non vibrano. Z "morbida": è la combinazione DZ pronunciata in modo fuso. Qui le corde vocali vibrano. Per distinguerle, si può appoggiare la mano alla gola: con la Z "morbida" si sente una vibrazione, con la Z "dura" no. È la stessa differenza che esiste tra F (nessuna vibrazione) e V (vibrazione). Esempi con la Z "Dura" (TS fusi) «pizza» → pi-TZa «stazione» → sta-TZIO-ne «grazie» → GRA-tzie «silenzio» → si-LEN-tzio «pazienza» → pa-TZIEN-tza Esempi con la Z "Morbida" (DZ fusi) «zaino» → DZai-no «zero» → DZe-ro «mezzo» → MED-dzo «realizzare» → rea-li-DZZA-re «zona» → DZO-na Regole Utili per Orientarsi Quando la Z è all'inizio di parola, nella maggior parte dei casi è Z "morbida": «zero, zona, zaino, zucchero, zio». Il suffisso -zione vuole sempre la Z "dura": «situazione, conversazione, attenzione, nazione». La sequenza Z + I + vocale vuole la Z "dura": «grazie, pulizia, agenzia, silenzio, anziano». Il suffisso -izzare e tutte le sue forme coniugate vogliono la Z "morbida": «realizzare → io realizzo, lui realizza, loro realizzano» — Z "morbida" in tutte le forme. Eccezione importante: la parola «azienda» sembra seguire la regola della sequenza Z+I+vocale — e quindi dovrebbe avere la Z "dura". Invece no: azienda ha la Z "morbida" → a-DZIEN-da. È un'eccezione da memorizzare a parte. Curiosità: moltissimi stranieri pronunciano «pizza» con la Z "morbida", come «pi-DDZA». La pronuncia corretta è invece «pi-TTZA», con la Z "dura". Anche la parola più famosa d'Italia viene pronunciata male nel mondo intero. Errore 3: Le Lettere che Si Scrivono ma Non Si Pronunciano Uno degli aspetti più insidiosi dell'italiano è la presenza di lettere che si scrivono ma sono completamente mute. Molti studenti le pronunciano perché le vedono scritte — ma si tratta di un errore. I Gruppi CIA/CIO/CIU e GIA/GIO/GIU Nei gruppi CIA, CIO, CIU e GIA, GIO, GIU, la I non si pronuncia. La sua unica funzione è segnalare che la C o la G si pronunciano con suono morbido — come la CH di «cheese» o la J di «jump» in inglese. La I è solo un segnale visivo. «ciao» → si pronuncia CHAO — la I non si sente «cioccolato» → CIOC-co-la-to, con suono morbido CH — I muta «giacca» → JAC-ca — I muta «gioco» → JO-co — I muta «Giovanni» → Jo-VAN-ni — I muta Il Gruppo SCIA/SCIO/SCIU Stesso discorso per SCIA, SCIO, SCIU: la I è muta e serve solo a far pronunciare SC con il suono SH — come «she» o «shower» in inglese. «sciarpa» → SHAR-pa — la I non si pronuncia «sciocco» → SHOC-co — I muta «asciugare» → a-SHU-ga-re — I muta Le I "Storiche" — il Caso Più Insidioso In alcune parole la I si scrive per ragioni storiche: nella parola latina originale si pronunciava, ma in italiano moderno è completamente muta. Non esiste una regola visiva di supporto — bisogna semplicemente saperlo. «scienza» → si pronuncia SHÈN-tza, non SHIÈN-tza — la I non si sente «coscienza» → co-SHÈN-tza — I muta «società» → so-che-TÀ — I muta «igiene» → i-JÈ-ne — I muta «specie» → SPÈ-che — I muta Curiosità: la parola «conoscenza» non ha nessuna I, eppure si pronuncia esattamente come la parte finale di «coscienza». Questo dimostra che quella I in «coscienza» è inutile dal punto di vista della pronuncia — esiste solo per ragioni storiche. Un Caso Speciale: i Plurali in -CIE e -GIE Il plurale di «camicia» è «camicie» — con la I. Quello di «valigia» è «valigie» — ancora con la I. Questa I si pronuncia? No, è muta anche qui. Ma allora perché si scrive? Per una regola ortografica precisa: si scrive la I se la sillaba precedente finisce per vocale. «va-LI-gia» → la sillaba -li- finisce per vocale → plurale: «va-LI-gie» (I scritta, ma muta) «ca-MI-cia» → la sillaba -mi- finisce per vocale → plurale: «ca-MI-cie» (I scritta, ma muta) «a-RAN-cia» → la sillaba -ran- finisce per consonante → plurale: «a-RAN-ce» (senza I) «TOR-cia» → la sillaba -tor- finisce per consonante → plurale: «TOR-ce» (senza I) Questa regola riguarda solo la scrittura, non la pronuncia — ma è utile anche per evitare errori ortografici. Errore 4: I Gruppi GL e GN — Suoni che Non Esistono in Molte Lingue Il Gruppo "GLI" Il gruppo GLI non si pronuncia come G + L + I separatamente: è un unico suono prodotto con la lingua premuta contro il palato. A seconda della propria lingua madre, si può avvicinare a questo suono in modi diversi: Spagnolo castigliano: simile alla LL di «llegar» o «llamar» Portoghese: simile alla LH di «filho» Inglese: il suono centrale di «million» — quel «ly» nel mezzo è molto vicino al GLI italiano Esempi pratici: «figlio» → fi-LYO (lingua sul palato) «famiglia» → fa-MI-lya «aglio» → A-lyo «voglio» → VO-lyo «meglio» → ME-lyo Errore comune: molti pronunciano «figlio» separando le lettere — «fig-lio», con G e L distinte. Il suono deve essere invece unico e fluido. Il Gruppo "GN" Anche GN è un suono unico. Per avvicinarsi a questo suono a partire da diverse lingue: Spagnolo: identico alla Ñ di «mañana» Francese: come la GN di «champagne» Inglese: il suono «ny» nel mezzo di «canyon» Esempi pratici: «gnocchi» → NYOc-chi «bagno» → BA-nyo «signore» → si-NYO-re «cognome» → co-NYO-me «montagna» → mon-TA-nya GN è sempre un suono solo — mai G + N separati. Errore 5: Le Consonanti Doppie In molte lingue, come l'inglese, le lettere doppie si scrivono ma non cambiano il suono. In italiano invece la doppia allunga fisicamente il suono della consonante — e questo non è solo una questione fonetica: la doppia può cambiare completamente il significato della parola. Questo può rendere difficile riconoscerle all'ascolto. Nel parlare, però, è sempre meglio pronunciarle con chiarezza: un madrelingua preferirà sentirle leggermente esagerate piuttosto che non sentirle affatto. Domande Frequenti Come Faccio a Sapere Dove Cade l'Accento nella Terza Persona Plurale? Il modo più efficace è pensare alla prima persona singolare (io): l'accento cade nella stessa posizione. Per esempio, se si sa che si dice «io PARlo», si può dedurre che la forma corretta è «loro PARlano» e non «loro parLAno». Per i verbi meno comuni, l'unica strategia affidabile è ascoltare tanto italiano parlato. Esiste una Regola per Distinguere la Z "Dura" dalla Z "Morbida"? Sì, esistono alcune indicazioni utili: la Z all'inizio di parola è quasi sempre "morbida"; il suffisso -zione vuole sempre la Z "dura"; la sequenza Z+I+vocale vuole la Z "dura"; il suffisso -izzare e tutte le sue forme vogliono la Z "morbida". Fanno eccezione alcune parole come «azienda», che va memorizzata a parte. Perché Alcune I Si Scrivono ma Non Si Pronunciano? Per due motivi diversi. In alcuni casi — come in «ciao» o «gioco» — la I serve come segnale visivo per indicare che la C o la G si pronunciano con suono morbido....

Pumpkin Risotto - Recipe 2 cups diced butternut pumpkin Spray oil 2 teaspoons oil 2 teaspoons butter 1 onion, peeled and chopped 2 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 1 tablespoon Leggo’s Tomato Paste 1½ cups Arborio rice 4 cups boiling chicken stock 300g skinless chicken thigh fillets, thinly sliced 1 cup baby spinach 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese Cracked black pepper for servingMETHOD1. Place diced pumpkin onto an oven tray and lightly spray with oil.2. Cook in a preheated oven of 200°C for 15mins.3. Meanwhile, heat oil and butter in a large saucepan and cook chopped onion and garlic for 2-3mins.4. Add Leggo’s Tomato Paste and rice and cook for a further minute, stirring continually.5. Add boiling chicken stock one cup at a time, until absorbed, stirring continually.6. Add chicken with last cup of stock and allow to cook through.7. Una volta entrato, si guarda in giro e indica con emozione il suo posto, «a capotavola». Sono passati quasi due anni dalle elezioni comunali del 14 aprile 2024, dalle quali è scaturita la nuova composizione dell'Esecutivo, rinnovato per quattro settimi. Il nostro interlocutore, all'epoca, aveva annunciato con largo anticipo di non volersi ricandidare.«Il nuovo Municipio? Mi piace questa squadra. Conosco molti di loro: chi ha già vissuto questa casa e chi ora vi entra con entusiasmo. Hanno visione, competenza, e soprattutto il mio successore ha un vero senso dello Stato, orientamento strategico, conoscenza profonda delle tematiche e il suo saper fare è lucido e concreto. Li vedo lavorare con serietà, e ho fiducia. È un sentimento raro, e me lo tengo stretto». Il neo sessantenne («Ma non mi sento vecchio, eh? Facciamo solo... meno giovane di prima, dai») riavvolge il nastro del tempo: «Ho cominciato a fare il sindaco proprio il giorno del mio cinquantesimo compleanno. Nove anni intensi. E se ci mettiamo anche i tempi in Municipio, sono quasi vent'anni. Vent'anni passati dentro queste stanze: riunioni interminabili, notti di scelte pesanti, migliaia di pomeriggi spesi per la Città. E, credetemi, ogni ora è stata viva».Si apre, tuttavia, una nuova fase. Più «distaccata», se si può definire così: «Sto molto bene, ho tempo per me e per la famiglia. Quando sei immerso in un ruolo istituzionale così in vista, non ti rendi conto di quanto sia totalizzante. Solo quando ti fermi capisci quanto correvi. Sono orgoglioso della mia Città. Leggo i giornali, mi rallegro quando trovo belle notizie e m'arrabbio per quelle negative, che però adesso vivo in modo differente. Oggi le decisioni sono in mano alla nuova compagine e il mio auspicio è che le sue scelte siano sempre guidate dal bene per la popolazione e non da speculazioni elettorali», esclama, citando i progetti principali che contribuiranno al rilancio di Locarno, come la riqualifica di piazza Grande e Largo Zorzi, il centro congressuale, la Rotonda, il Castello e il Museo di storia naturale. «Mi rendo conto che abbiamo avviato tanti progetti, forse troppi pensando alla forza finanziaria della Città e ciò non rende facile il lavoro a chi siede oggi nell'Esecutivo».E, a proposito di «arrabbiature», sul tavolo di Bellinzona era stata consegnata, ancora nella precedente legislatura, l'istanza di aggregazione con Lavertezzo, insieme alla collega Tamara Bettazza. Qualche settimana fa - dopo il «cambio della guardia» primaverile che ha portato Andrea Berri alla guida del piccolo Comune - colpo di scena: questi appare in foto con l'omologo Damiano Vignuta, di Gordola, voltando le spalle al «matrimonio» previsto con Locarno e avviando un altro tra i loro due Comuni. «Con tutto il rispetto per i protagonisti, questa fotografia mi ha fatto male», dice con rammarico.«Ad ogni modo il merito è stato di riaprire il dialogo, soprattutto con Losone e Minusio, che sono interlocutori preziosi. Altri, invece, sembrano solo approfittare della centralità di Locarno, rivendicano autonomia ma poi non sono capaci di gestire i progetti importanti, come è accaduto a Muralto con il nodo intermodale alla stazione. La fusione degli enti locali attorno al nucleo dell'agglomerato urbano è a mio avviso inevitabile, dato che la frammentazione rallenta lo sviluppo». Note più positive (letteralmente) per un altro capitolo importante nella vita dell'intervistato. Da due decenni, infatti, canta nel complesso «Vasco Jam». «La musica, il palco: è la mia seconda famiglia. Il gruppo ha 41 anni ed è probabilmente la cover band di Vasco più longeva di sempre. È casa mia. Noi sul palco ci divertiamo, e la gente lo sente».Sempre in ambito musicale, ecco spuntare un ulteriore tasto dolente: il ricorso di un esercente di piazza Grande contro i concerti estivi: «Mi rattrista vedere chi antepone interessi personali all'estate di Locarno. Piazza Grande è un simbolo potente. Qui sono passati nomi che hanno lasciato memoria nel mondo. Non possiamo rischiare che qualcuno rovini tutto per egoismi». L'altro pilastro della bella stagione è il Festival, la manifestazione culturale più importante a livello nazionale. Che vorrebbe anticipare la programmazione. Un'opportunità da cogliere? «La questione è delicata. Capisco l'industria cinematografica, ma anche il turismo vive di equilibri delicati. Il calendario è un incastro prezioso. Il Festival è un pilastro: Locarno grazie a questa manifestazione vive di cultura».Infine, la politica. Perché è proprio il «suo» PLR ad aver perso il quarto seggio del distretto in Gran consiglio. «Sì, anni fa avrei voluto fare un'esperienza a livello cantonale. Ma oggi non ne sono più attratto. La politica, parlo in generale, non dialoga più con la vita reale. È incompatibile con il mio modo di intendere il servizio pubblico. Manca il cuore. Manca il coraggio. Manca la coerenza. Manca la concretezza. Si preferisce apparire invece di agire, inseguire consenso invece di assumersi responsabilità. È un mondo che si racconta, ma non costruisce più. Io non ci sto. Voglio continuare a fare del bene, ma non accanto ai giochi di potere. Non come sindaco, voglio farlo come uomo. E le persone, non i ruoli, fanno la differenza».

Mentre continuano a calare i prestiti alle famiglie, il credito al consumo prosegue la sua corsa. In Italia il Taeg resta superiore sia alla media dell'area euro che a Francia e Germania. E dopo la frenata di giugno ha ripreso a correre. Ciò nonostante gli italiani continuano ad indebitarsi: nel secondo trimestre del 2024 i finanziamenti erogati sono saliti oltre i 165 miliardi. Sul totale dei prestiti richiesti il credito al consumo pesa per il 18,7% contro una media europea dell'11,2%. Sempre meno prestiti, sempre più credito al consumo. Nel secondo trimestre dell'anno, infatti, i prestiti alle famiglie si sono ridotti dello 0,1% rispetto al periodo precedente. Non così quelli destinati a finanziare il consumo, che hanno visto un incremento dell'1,8%, passando da 162,419 a 165,278 miliardi. Si tratta di una tendenza in atto da tempo, che trova riscontro anche nell'ultima rilevazione condotta dalla Fondazione Fiba di First Cisl sui dati della Bce. L'Italia si conferma al vertice in Europa per i costi praticati sul credito al consumo: il Taeg sulle nuove operazioni ad agosto ha toccato il 10,5%, dato che resta significativamente più elevato sia rispetto alla media dell'area euro (8,55%) che a quelli di Francia (6,82%) e Germania (8,27%). Già a luglio, comunque, si era registrato un nuovo aumento dopo la diminuzione di giugno. Proseguendo nel confronto europeo, il nostro Paese svetta anche per quanto riguarda la quota destinata al credito al consumo sul totale dei prestiti richiesti: ad agosto si arriva al 18,7% contro una media dell'area euro dell'11,2%. Lontane, in questa classifica, restano Germania e Francia, che si fermano rispettivamente al 9,9% ed al 12,5%. Tra le regioni, l'aumento maggiore rispetto al trimestre precedente si registra in Valle d'Aosta (+ 2,3%), Lombardia (+ 2,15%) e Toscana (2,13%), quello minore in Sardegna (+ 0,99%). Sul versante dei mutui, ad agosto emerge in modo inatteso un rincaro delle condizioni di finanziamento (dal 3,94% di luglio al 4,10%),che interrompe la tendenza alla flessione del Taeg innescatasi già prima che la Bce iniziasse, a partire da giugno, a rivedere la sua politica monetaria restrittiva tagliando i tassi. Il caso italiano resta però isolato in Europa: il Taeg ha continuato infatti nella sua parabola discendente sia in Francia che in Germania. Dopo essere rimasto costantemente su livelli più elevati fino a marzo, il dato italiano da aprile ha iniziato a convergere con quello medio dell'area euro, per poi allinearsi quasi del tutto a maggio. La discesa è continuata a giugno e luglio, fino alla battuta d'arresto di agosto. Torna quindi ad allargarsi la forbice con Germania (3,87%) e Francia (4,01%). È intervenuto ai microfoni di Sebastiano Barisoni, Riccardo Colombani, segretario generale First Cisl.Meloni assicura che non ci saranno nuove tasse ma intento è caos su accise e rendite catastaliL Aula della Camera ha approvato con 183 voti a favore, 118 contrari e 2 astenuti la risoluzione di maggioranza sul Piano strutturale di bilancio (Psb) il documento di finanza pubblica da inviare a Bruxelles. Mentre l Aula del Senato ha dato il via libera al Psb con 95 sì, 66 no e 4 astenuti. Precluse, quindi, in entrambi i casi le risoluzioni presentate delle opposizioni, su cui il governo aveva dato parere contrario.Tra gli impegni che la maggioranza sollecita al Governo attraverso la risoluzione alla Camera sul Piano strutturale di bilancio, si legge che la manovra di bilancio deve prevedere «interventi che rendano strutturali gli effetti del taglio al cuneo fiscale sul lavoro e l accorpamento delle aliquote Irpef su tre scaglioni già in vigore per l anno in corso; iniziative a sostegno delle famiglie, con particolare riguardo a quelle numerose, e della genitorialità, anche con misure volte a supportare gli istituti per la conciliazione dei tempi lavorativi con le esigenze familiari; risorse per proseguire con il percorso avviato di rinnovo dei contratti del pubblico impiego; individuare fondi per sostenere la spesa sanitaria e mantenere gli investimenti pubblici in rapporto al PIL al livello registrato durante il periodo di vigenza del Pnrr». Nel documento si chiede anche di «adottare le riforme e gli investimenti pubblici negli ambiti indicati nel Piano»«Affrontiamo ogni manovra con il fardello del debito con i relativi oneri e interessi e io invidio miei colleghi europei che hanno un gravame pari alla metà e quando io come un mantra continuo a ripetere prudenza, responsabilità e cautela, qualcuno dice questo ha il disco rotto : no, non è un disco rotto perché io voglio costruire una credibilità a questo governo e a questo paese che ci permetta come ci ha permesso di abbassare lo spread sul debito pubblico italiano di 100 punti base» ha detto il ministro dell Economia Giancarlo Giorgetti intervenendo in aula alla Camera in replica alla discussione sul Psb.In giornata è intervenuta anche la Presidente del consiglio Giorgia Meloni che ha dichiarato: "Leggo in queste ore dichiarazioni fantasiose secondo cui il governo vorrebbe aumentare le tasse che gravano sui cittadini: è falso. Questo lo facevano i governi di sinistra, noi le tasse le abbassiamo, come sanno bene i lavoratori dipendenti, le mamme lavoratrici, le partite Iva. Allora voglio essere chiara ancora una volta, la cultura politica di questo governo è quella di ridurre le tasse, sostenere le famiglie e sostenere le imprese, non la cultura di gravare ulteriormente sui cittadini".
