Black Lightning: The '82 Podcast

Rowls and Wally invite The Cerebral Ninja and Van Everette to join them as they discuss their reasons for throwing in the towel on CW's Black Lightning .

Black Lightning is back and so is 1982!  Join Rowls and Wally as they welcome in a fan of the show, Jemol Wideman.  The guys discuss episodes 1 and 2 of Black Lightning season 4 as well as in what direction the season is going.

Rowls and Wally are joined by fellow Black Lightning enthusiast and Est. 1982 patron Jemol Wideman to give their closing arguments on season 3 of Black Lightning.

Wally and Rowls return after an absence to provide the State of the Series address after episodes 14 and 15.

Black Lightning and his team descend upon Markovia on a mission to rescue Lynn, who finds herself in even more trouble when she meets a metahuman on the Markovian side.

Jefferson and Anissa join forces with the ASA to help one of their own; Lynn is forced to continue battling her demons.

Jefferson, Anissa and Jennifer discover that the ASA is now hunting the entire Pierce family; Lynn does the unthinkable.

Lynn counsels former pod kid Wendy on how to live in a world that's new to her; the fate of the other pod kids remains in doubt; Anissa figures out Grace's secret; Jefferson tries to install a superhero code for his metahuman offspring.

Looking for answers, a worried Anissa sets out to find Grace.

When Black Lightning and Thunder are attacked by Looker and her clan, they fight to get her to release control over the Sange; Jennifer and Khalil continue to grow closer.

Tragedy hits the Pierce family while Tobias Whale begins the process of returning to dominance in Freeland.

Holding Tobias Whale proves more difficult than anticipated while Jefferson continues to grapple with that and life at Garfield High under new leadership

Jefferson Pierce’s final day as the principal of Garfield coincides with the first opportunity to rebuild an old friendship.

While Jefferson loses power at Garfield High, Lynn takes on the responsibility of the Green Light Babies.  Join Wally Analog as he flies the '82 plane solo this episode, skimming the ground and narrowly missing mountaintops as he talks about last week's episode of Black Lightning!

After the Pierces survive Tobias's attack, the Garfield board considers a motion to shut down the school out of concern for the students' safety.

An unexpected video unearths the long-buried need for Anissa to investigate the murder of her grandfather. Annisa wrestles with the fact that her actions have dire consequences. Meanwhile, Jefferson is experiencing extreme pain from use of his powers. Lastly, Jennifer learns the importance of controlling her temper - in all situations. 

While Jefferson confronts a new drug problem in Freeland, Tobias strategizes how to get back at his old foe.

Anissa starts to come into her own while Jefferson tries to decide if the community can survive without Black Lightning. 

As the community struggles with the violence surrounding them, a glimmer of hope appears: Is Black Lightning back? Lynn Stewart, noticing the changes in the community, is also left wondering. While Jefferson Pierce struggles with his decision, Peter Gambi (series star JAMES REMAR) urges him to take up the mantle once more and return to life as Black Lightning. Anissa and Jennifer try to deal with the aftermath of their jolting experience. 

In the series premiere, Jefferson Pierce is a man wrestling with a secret. Years ago, he hung up the suit and secret identity of Black Lightning. But now he must return.
