Most people don't fear failure. They fear being seen. After achieving success by every external measure, Erik Rock believed he had “made it.” But when his grandmother passed away, a single realization changed everything: success without purpose is empty. That loss sparked a spiritual awakening that led Erik to step into the light, reveal the truth about his past, and live fully aligned with his calling. Guided by mentors like Ed Mylett, Erik became a voice for resilience and redemption, helping millions reclaim their story and move forward in obedience, not fear. In this episode, Erik joins Emily to unpack why your story holds more power than your fear, how choosing significance over success changes everything, and why your willingness to be seen might be exactly what someone else needs. What You'll Learn: Why fear often intensifies before alignment How hiding parts of your story limits your impact The subtle ways success can distract you from significance What actually shifts when you stop performing and start living with purpose Why truth is the doorway to peace, purpose, and impact Timestamps: (03:39) - Why fear shows up when you're called to more (05:30) - Erik's defining moment with Ed Mylett (11:02) - The transformative impact of sharing your story (13:26) - The struggle to win without purpose (15:10) - Healing and finding inner peace (17:53) - Erik's conversation with his grandmother that changed everything (21:24) - Wresting with the duality of life (22:45) - Why pain is a gift (28:19) - Man on a Mission (35:49) - How truth creates peace (40:59) - Pursuing impossible goals (48:58) - Erik's vision for the future (57:46) - Sneak Peek of the Hero Awards Links and Resources: The Mission Project | https://missionprojectmalibu.com/ Connect with Erik: Website | https://itserikrock.com Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/realerikrock/ Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/erikrocklol YouTube | https://www.youtube.com/@realerikrock TikTok | https://www.tiktok.com/@erikrocklol Man on a Mission Podcast | https://open.spotify.com/show/18PGWV0izSTE7arsxgjq4r More from Emily & FORDIVINE: Website | https://meetemilyford.com Instagram | https://www.instagram.com/itsemily Facebook | https://www.facebook.com/itsemilymethod YouTube | https://www.youtube.com/c/ITSEMILYFORD Called & Crowned Podcast | https://www.instagram.com/calledandcrowned/ FORDIVINE | https://www.fordivine.com/

Join hosts Henry Kaestner, Justin Forman, and Luke Roush as they preview the upcoming 2026 Faith Driven Investor Conference, exploring the transformative theme "Seeds vs. Silos" and what it means for how we steward capital in service of God's kingdom.Key Investment Topics:Understanding the J-curve of investing and why seed capital requires patience before bearing fruitThe convergence of giving, investing, and building into unified asset allocation focused on missionFirst-loss capital strategies: How philanthropic capital can unlock larger investment tranchesThe urgency of African investment: Addressing 80% of the world's poor by 2030 through market-driven solutionsRedefining risk from an eternal perspective rather than purely financial metricsPowerful Quotes:"We're planting these seeds and the seeds are planted in the ground and they go down. And with the J-curve, all of a sudden it's underground, it doesn't look like it's great, and then it comes back up someplace further away, far enough away from where you planted it so that maybe you don't even get credit for it." - Henry Kaestner"It's not a failure of the system, usually, in terms of people using the platform God's given them. It's usually a failure of nerve." - Luke Roush"The tragedy is when you go into some of these dark places, tragically we find that darkness is more coordinated than the church." - Justin FormanEpisode Description:Six years into the Faith Driven Investor Conference journey, the movement has reached an inflection point. What began as storming and forming is now transforming into coordinated action as investors, advisors, and fund managers converge around a unified mission: solving the world's greatest problems under God's power for His glory. This preview episode unpacks the conference theme "Seeds vs. Silos," challenging investors to move beyond accumulation mindsets (the barns and silos of our age) toward scattering seeds that grow underground before bearing fruit in unexpected places. Henry, Justin, and Luke explore how the J-curve of investing mirrors spiritual growth—requiring faith during the valley period when capital is deployed but results aren't yet visible. The conversation addresses critical shifts in the faith-driven investing ecosystem: the three-sided marketplace now including river guide advisors, the convergence of philanthropic and investment capital into unified asset allocation maps, and real-world examples of first-loss capital unlocking larger investment opportunities in emerging markets. With top-quartile performers now visible across virtually every asset class—from multifamily real estate to African venture funds—the movement has matured beyond feel-good stories to demonstrable excellence because of, not despite, biblical values. The hosts issue a clarion call for urgent action in Africa, where 80% of the world's poor will live by 2030, and challenge investors to rethink risk from an eternal perspective rather than merely financial metrics.

Discograffiti is the deep-dive podcast for music obsessives. In this episode, we feature the next entry in The Chuck Granata Pet Sounds Interview Series: it's Part 2 of Chuck's chat with his close friend, legendary bassist Carol Kaye. This time around, they're joined by Chuck's bassist buddy, Ammo. Carol is one of the most prolific bass guitarists in rock and pop music, playing on an estimated 10,000 recordings during a career spanning over 65 years. She actually started doing session work in 1957 on guitar, and after a bassist failed to turn up to a session in 1963, she switched to that instrument, quickly making a name for herself as one of the most in-demand session players of the 1960s. She's appeared on sessions by Frank Sinatra, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and The Monkees. The intro on Glen Campbell's “Wichita Lineman”? She came up with that. Of course, that's also Carol plucking away on The Beach Boys albums Today!, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), Pet Sounds, and Smile. Most famously, Kaye's bass lines are the driving force behind “Good Vibrations”, one of her many number 1 hits. Here's just a few of the many things that Carol discusses with Discograffiti in this podcast: What Murry Wilson was like at that time; The love that Chuck Britz had for Brian, especially during his dark time in the 1970s; Carol's views on Paul McCartney's bass playing; Her nightmare story of working with producer Joe Thomas; And Carol's absolutely brilliant way of explaining why Brian's music connected with people in such a big way. How do you make sure your capital actually works for you—and doesn't just sit idle or worse, lose value? This episode takes a realistic look at opportunity cost, comparing the potential of real estate against dividend-paying stocks, fixed deposits, and other asset classes. It challenges the assumption that property always performs, and instead asks: when does it truly outperform? Melvin Lim from PropertyLimBrothers explores whether a $500,000 paper margin gain is still achievable in the current market, and what strategies can make it possible. He breaks down common traps like stagnating assets, explains the impact of lease decay, and shares how quadrant-based property selection can change your long-term results. Through examples like penthouse plays and timing your asset exits, this is a strategic guide to deploying capital with intention. If you're rethinking where to invest in 2025 or comparing real estate to other vehicles, this discussion offers grounded, practical insight. 00:00 Hook (Opportunity Cost of Investing) 00:17 Intro 00:35 $500K Quantum paper margin gain 01:59 Main Title = "Is $500K still possible?" 02:06 4 Classes of Prosperity Investing 07:17 4 Types of properties 08:44 Imagine your property Stagnates 11:00 Strategy 1: Go Big or Go Home 23:58 Invested for Buyers - Rio vista 3+Study penthouse 27:03 Strategy 2: Go Stronger but be Careful of the Exit Quantum 33:47 Sneak Peek of Episode 28 33:58 Outro

What's next for Discovery Park of America? In this special Reelfoot Forward episode, CEO Scott Williams sits down with senior collections and exhibits director Jennifer Wildes and manager of marketing and PR Zac Willis for a look at what's ahead in 2026 at the museum and park. The conversation offers a behind-the-scenes preview of upcoming exhibits, major events and cultural celebrations, including plans tied to America's 250th anniversary, new permanent exhibitions, expanded educational programming and returning events that have become regional traditions. Listeners will hear how Discovery Park selects exhibits, balances popular demand with mission-driven storytelling and plans year-round experiences for children and adults. As Discovery Park commemorates the 230th anniversary of Tennessee's statehood and the national America 250 celebration, several new exhibits will open next year. The museum will host "Home, Heart, Heritage: Quilt Exhibition Celebrating Black History," a traveling exhibition from Monthaven Arts and Cultural Center that features five double-sided quilts celebrating Black American contributions to Tennessee and the nation. Listeners will also learn more about "Brushstrokes of a Young Nation: The Art of David Wright," which will be on display in the Southern Artist Showcase Gallery. The exhibition will include prints by celebrated Tennessee artist David Wright, whose paintings of early settlers, frontier life and America's expansion offer a vivid visual journey through the nation's formative years. Another major highlight of Discovery Park's Tennessee America 250 programming discussed in the episode is the Celebrating 250 Years of Independence event July 3–4, 2026. On Friday, July 3, country music artist Mo Pitney will headline a free outdoor concert as part of Discovery Park's Rhythm on the Rails series. Whether you're a longtime member, a first-time visitor or simply curious about how a regional museum plans for the future, this episode offers a candid, informative look at how Discovery Park continues to evolve while staying rooted in the stories of West Tennessee and the Reelfoot Lake region. This episode is sponsored by Main Street Union City.

We love talking about growth mindset, but curiosity without action doesn't move your career forward. In this episode, Jayneil Dalal shares what he's learned from interviewing hundreds of designers—and why the people who actually ship, share, and care about craft are the ones who keep growing. What if the fastest way to grow your career isn't asking for a promotion—but becoming the designer everyone trusts? In this episode, I sit down with Jayneil Dalal to talk less about career ladders and more about what actually earns trust inside organizations. After interviewing hundreds of designers on Design MBA and Sneak Peek, Jayneil has seen the same patterns repeat across teams, companies, and seniority levels. The designers who advance aren't the loudest or the most credentialed. They're the ones who care deeply about their work—clean files, thoughtful handoffs, clear communication, and sharing what they learn with others. No one tells them to do this. They do it because they give a damn, and that care compounds into credibility. We also unpack the idea of “internal brand,” why chasing credit often backfires, and how being generous with your knowledge can quietly change team culture. If you've ever felt invisible at work or unsure how to stand out without self-promotion, this conversation reframes what influence really looks like.Topics:• 04:54 - Early Curiosity and Interviewing Journey• 06:17 - The Birth of a Podcast Idea• 07:23 - Launching Design MBA• 09:53 - The Value of Execution• 12:21 - Challenges and Realizations• 15:36 - Content Creation and Audience Fit• 19:35 - Learning from Top Designers• 22:49 - The Importance of Craft and Mentorship• 38:04 - Advocating for Yourself• 41:58 - Navigating Internal Branding• 46:34 - The Importance of Communication Skills• 48:10 - Balancing Multiple Projects• 51:36 - Effective Use of AI in Design• 53:21 - Public Speaking and Presentation Tips—Thanks for listening! Send us a textStrap in, kids. This episode is the equivalent of a Tasty Gains creatine gummy to the dome—sweet, punchy, and packed with fire. The crew goes full send on everything from the absurd pipeline reorg memos to SEER spouses who think a YouTube comment is a call to arms. Peaches drops savage truths about military hierarchy, pipeline chaos, and why instructors are the ones always eating the crap sandwich. Also: war stories, karaoke bangers, and a weather guy who thinks he's a JTAC. If you're mad? Good. That means you're listening.
Brad and Abbey Zerbo host a blackout-lit, high-energy conversation with Adrian of Rise Attire, giving viewers an exclusive first look at Darkness by Design | Part 2. Adrian walks through the documentary's deeper investigation into the Balenciaga scandal, the surrealist and occult roots behind high-fashion power players, and the disturbing connections between elite art circles, cultural engineering, and normalized depravity. The trio discuss how the film exposes the influence of figures like Marina Abramović, the hidden history of French pedophile networks, and the intelligence-linked forces behind cultural degeneration. With two sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes insights, and reflections on symbolism, spiritual warfare, and the growing cultural shift toward authenticity and light, this episode blends dark truth with real hope. A raw, compelling look at the making of a documentary designed to wake up a generation.
Hello and welcome back! In today's Patreon exclusive episode, we tell the story of The Great Amherst Mystery. In Amherst, Nova Scotia in 1878, 18-year-old Esther Cox began experiencing some very strange phenomena. After a horribly traumatic experience, Esther began being plagued by highly mayhem. From terrifying medical crises to objects flying around the room to loud booming noises shaking the home she shared with several family members, her experience was excruciating to put it lightly. But once the phenomena begun manifesting in fires around the home, Esther and her family became desperate for answers. So what was the source of The Great Amherst Mystery? Was it an elaborate hoax? Or was Esther Cox simply the central character of legitimate and chilling poltergeist activity? Hang on, friends. Send us a textAaron unloads on the Air Force Special Warfare leadership with the fury of a thousand ignored NCOs. If you're wondering why morale is in the toilet and retention's circling the drain, look no further than the clown show running the pipeline overhaul. Instructors? Ignored. Functional managers? Ghosted. Messaging? Nonexistent. This isn't just poor leadership—it's sabotage disguised as progress. If you're in charge and this episode hits a nerve… maybe that's the point. Fix it—or get out of the way.
Since we have to wait a few months before we watch Taylor Frankie Paul's season of “The Bachelorette,” we decided to take matters into our own hands and google the 26 potential men who will compete for her heart! What we found are a bunch of scruffy-faced, cowboy-adjacent men of faith. But a few of them had some shockingly fascinating backstories – including one who has deep ties to former Republican Congressman Madison Cawthorn.
