As part of the DC / CW project entitled the “Arrowverse,” the series “Black Lightning” aired for four seasons from 2018-to 2021. It starred Cress Williams as Jefferson Pierce, who recently appeared in the CW crossover “Armegeddon” which took place on the Flash. That's something of interesting flaw in continuity, so will it be something that Supergirl will address? According to executive producer Andrew Kriesberg: it won't be. According to Kriesberg, “the problem with that is if we do that once, we're going to open the floodgates of insanity." According to Kriesberg, it would take “a really good story” for Supergirl to get alternate versions of Barry or Oliver on the show; or conversly, an alternate version of Kara on Earth 1. And that's when they took me out on the city and they told me everything. So, to put it this way, me and my wife and my doggie, we moved over to Vancouver thinking one thing and it was revealed once I got here who I was actually playing.
