The disconnect that children of the diaspora specifically resonate with is our detachment from that which not only grounds us, but defines us. We had to take some time out to nurture ourselves + fill our empty cups so that we would be able to send some light your way. “Sis” this, “sis” that. We throw the word around so freely, yet we don't seem to genuinely embrace each other in that light. In this episode, it was important for us to dissect the dynamics between black and brown women, on and offline. We’re supportive on the internet, but do we genuinely keep that same energy in person? Let’s be honest, so we can move forward and truly “run the world”, word to our queen Bey. We’re talking about sisterhood; what that looks like, feels like and means to us. We share our negative and positive experiences within the realm of sister, whether friendships or just sharing space. How can we show up for each other with respect and acceptance? Encourage someone else’s tribe and find your tribe.

We know it's been a minute and we've missed you, tribe! It was necessary for us to take a step back and heal while we navigate through the losses we’ve been facing. For the 10th episode we wanted to bring it back to the circle of life. We all experience loss in some way shape or form. This seems to be the underlying theme of this eclipse season, so we’re journeying through loss by circumstances beyond your control and loss by means of releasing. Plus, we’ve added a new ritual to our podcast experience--a tarot reflection! (sorry for sound quality on this one!!)

Are you aware, that before you even came into this physical dimension (3D) your soul made a commitment with the universe? This commitment is your soul contract. In that soul contract, your soul makes a choice to experience, manifest and feel certain things for your consciousness to evolve. You also choose your soul team, or some love to call "soulmates". Don't be fooled, you have many soulmates whose purpose expand beyond romantic connections. Sometimes it's your romantic partner, other times it might be a family member or best friends. Their purpose is to reveal parts of ourselves that we reject or are so deeply hidden, in order to heal. They force us to confront our shadow selves, so, yes, sometimes that's painful! But, be sure to never confuse abusive relationships for soulmate connections. Allow yourself to be present, in those moments you can identify the synchronocities the universe provides for us to expand our souls consciousness. Have you met any of your soulmates yet?

Let's talk about forgiveness! It liberates us from suffering over the past and it forces us to be in the Now. Radical forgiveness is a way to look at forgiveness from a spiritual point of view that encourages a shift in perception. We're chatting about surrendering to the flow of life - allow life to happen! Perception plays a huge role in this process because the things that we criticize and judge the most are only reflections of our internal world.  We have to understand that every experience is unfolding to benefit our spiritual growth and soul evolution. Acknowledge, feel, reveal, heal and repeat!

With a New Moon in Taurus approaching on the same day Taurus transits into a new sign for the first time in 7-8 years, it’s safe to say we’re being presented with with fresh, transformational energy. So, why not use this time to activate our inner magician? As we discussed in the last episode, we’re all provided with divine gifts. In addition to that, we ALL have the power to harness our psychic abilities and intuition. In episode 7, we’re casting spells with intention! #WitchLife. It is our duty as a divine being through our connection with source to navigate through life with the intent of discovering exactly what unique gifts or talents we’ve been blessed with to contribute to global ascension.
