Leadership often requires carrying responsibility, making decisions that affect others, and showing up consistently for people who depend on you. For many Christian women in leadership, that responsibility is carried quietly and alone. In this episode, we explore why strong leaders still need support and how biblical leadership was never meant to be lived in isolation. Drawing from Scripture, this conversation looks at God's design for leadership, the dangers of leading alone, and why receiving support is not weakness but wisdom. We discuss how clarity, confidence, and obedience are strengthened through godly counsel, shared burdens, and intentional community. If you are a Christian woman who influences others, feels the weight of leadership, or struggles with second-guessing and decision fatigue, this episode will help you reframe support as part of God's plan—not a sign of failure. You'll be encouraged to lead intentionally, stay aligned with God's priorities, and walk in obedience with clarity and confidence. In This Episode, You'll Learn: Why God never intended leaders to carry responsibility alone What Scripture teaches about support, counsel, and shared leadership How isolation contributes to heaviness, second-guessing, and fatigue Why biblical leadership includes receiving help and guidance How community protects clarity, confidence, and obedience What it means to lead intentionally according to God's design Invitation:  If you are a Christian woman who wants to lead with clarity, confidence, and biblical alignment, I invite you to sign up for the Confident Leader Workshop, a 3 session experience designed to help women lead intentionally and stay rooted in God's plan. Time management struggles are often about priorities. In this episode, we explore why intention is essential for managing time well and how Christian women can align their schedules with God's priorities instead of pressure, expectations, or endless to-do lists. This conversation breaks down key principles of effective time management, the difference between activity and intention, and how clarity and confidence grow when priorities are ordered biblically. We also look at what Scripture teaches about stewarding time wisely and why obedience to God's instruction brings freedom, not restriction. If you are a Christian woman who carries responsibility, influences others, and wants to lead with clarity, confidence, and purpose, this episode will help you rethink how you manage your time and refocus on what truly matters. In This Episode, We Cover: Why time management problems are often priority problems The importance of intentional leadership in daily decision-making Key principles of productivity and focus for leaders How proper priorities bring clarity and reduce overwhelm Biblical instruction on stewarding time wisely Why obedience to God's Word simplifies leadership and life How aligning with God's priorities brings peace and confidence Key Takeaway: Effective time management begins with intentional leadership. When priorities are aligned with God's Word, clarity increases, confidence grows, and leadership becomes lighter — not because life is easier, but because it is ordered wisely.   Your Next Step If this episode resonates and you're craving deeper clarity, confidence, and intentional growth, I would love to walk alongside you.

This episode if for you!In the latest episode of How We Got There, I speak with Steve Simpson, VP of Global Enablement & Learning at Copado, Co-Founder of Catcusforce and Certified Architect Instructor. Steve and I dive deep on the reality of the complex deal cycles that Salesforce ISVs experience and how best to posture in them, especially with new to you SIs. It's a timely episode as Cactusforce and Architect Dreamin' are coming up in Phoenix in late January and it's not too late to sponsor to fill the funnel for the new year….and get some warm weather in the winter! Go to the websites to learn more and find the prospectus. The customer, Salesforce AEs/SEs/RVPs, SIs can all be involved in a deal. Steve explains the personas in a deal and how it can/should change based on how you came to the deal. Did Salesforce or an SI bring you to the deal? Then they are the dominant person in the deal and you need to adjust your posture but one thing is a common through line is to make sure you continue to do right by the customer “with honesty and delivery”. Obviously you can ignore all of this complexity, but it introduces risk in your deals!Steve has wonderful detailed suggestions on how you position your experience in a specific scenario, even if you don't have any, that he borrows from a friend who trains physicians. He then relates it to how an SI can communicate their experience on your app. We talk about learning strategies that is tailored for customers and partners, the latter covering both sales and delivery. Steve is a wealth of knowledge and I am grateful for his sharing so freely. This episode is brought to you by Tequity Advisors . Hi Friend - Second-guessing is one of the most common struggles Christian women leaders face — and it's rarely talked about honestly. In this episode, we explore why so many Christian women who are already leading begin to question their calling, doubt their decisions, and lose confidence — even when they are capable, experienced, and deeply committed to following God's plan. We'll talk about how second-guessing quietly steals clarity, confidence, peace, time management, and influence, and why this struggle is often rooted in misplaced responsibility rather than a lack of faith or leadership ability. In this conversation, you'll discover: Why Christian women leaders second-guess their calling How pressure replaces purpose and erodes confidence The connection between clarity, leadership, and time management Why alignment with God's plan restores confidence and peace How biblical truth reframes leadership without striving If you're a Christian woman leader who feels called to lead intentionally but finds yourself constantly overthinking, hesitating, or questioning your decisions, this episode will bring clarity and encouragement. ✨ Your Next Step If this episode resonates and you're craving deeper clarity, confidence, and intentional growth, I would love to walk alongside you.

Hey Sis! If leadership feels heavy right now, I want you to know something first—you're not failing, and you're not alone. But somewhere along the way, the joy and confidence you once had feels harder to access. In this episode, we're having an honest, heart-to-heart conversation about what to do when leadership feels overwhelming and how to return to clarity in God's plan—without striving, hustling, or trying to prove yourself. This isn't about pushing harder. It's about pausing long enough to realign with biblical truth, reconnect with God's priorities, and lead with intentionality again. In this episode, we talk about: Why leadership can feel heavy even when you're walking in your calling How lack of clarity impacts your confidence, time management, and influence The subtle signs you're leading from pressure instead of purpose How to quiet the noise and refocus on God's plan for your life and leadership What it looks like to lead like Jesus—grounded, present, and intentional If you've been asking yourself: Why does leadership feel so hard right now? Am I still on the right path? How do I regain clarity and confidence without burning out? Sis, this episode is for you. You were never meant to carry leadership alone. You were called to lead with clarity, peace, and confident Christian influence—rooted in God's truth, not the world's expectations. ✨ Your Next Step If this episode resonates and you're craving deeper clarity, confidence, and intentional growth, I would love to walk alongside you.

In this episode of the ASC Podcast with John Goehle we discuss the latest news, review common infection control and sanitary environment issues in ASCs and in our focus segment, discuss Navigating the Complexities of ASC Billing and Coding with Bob Lathrop from SIS.   This episode is sponsored by Surgical Information Systems,    Notes and Resources from this Episode: Cost pressures that battered ASCs in 2025: https://www.beckersasc.com/asc-transactions-and-valuation-issues/the-cost-pressures-that-battered-ascs-in-2025/?origin=ASCE&utm_source=ASCE&utm_medium=email&utm_content=newsletter&oly_enc_id=5567B4088734C3Z Focus on Sanitary Environment and Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) in ASC Surveys Sanitary environment and IPC issues consistently rank among the top deficiencies in ambulatory surgery center (ASC) accreditation and certification surveys, making this a critical "hot issue" for 2025 and beyond. These citations directly impact patient safety by increasing risks of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), and they appear frequently across major accreditors like CMS, AAAHC, and ACHC. For context: In AAAHC's 2025 Quality Roadmap (released September 2025), IPC remains a persistent top challenge, with deficiencies cited in nearly 90% of surveys for ASCs and office-based surgery settings. ACHC's November 2025 survey data highlights sanitary environment lapses (e.g., sanitation issues, incomplete policies) as a leading deficiency, often tied to inconsistent implementation of hand hygiene, glove techniques, and environmental cleaning. Historical CMS data shows patterns holding into recent years, with "Sanitary Environment" and "Infection Control Program" among the most cited, stemming from failures in basic practices like cleaning, sterilization, and safe injection protocols. These issues often arise from documentation gaps, staff inconsistencies, or overlooked details during busy operations, even in high-performing centers. Key Regulatory Requirements The foundation for sanitary environment and IPC in ASCs is CMS Conditions for Coverage (CfC) at 42 CFR § 416.51, which applies to Medicare-certified ASCs and influences other accreditors (deemed status via AAAHC, ACHC, etc.). Standard: Sanitary Environment (§ 416.51(a)): The ASC must provide a functional and sanitary environment for surgical services, avoiding sources and transmission of infections by adhering to professionally accepted standards (e.g., CDC, AORN, APIC guidelines). Standard: Infection Control Program (§ 416.51(b)): Maintain an ongoing, coordinated program to prevent, control, and investigate infections/communicable diseases. This includes: Designation of a qualified professional (e.g., infection preventionist) to oversee the program. Annual risk assessment to identify infection risks. Integration of nationally recognized guidelines (CDC core practices are mandatory if no other evidence-based standards apply). Policies for hand hygiene, environmental cleaning, sterilization/high-level disinfection (HLD), safe injection practices, and point-of-care devices. Sis, this season can be all the chaos. It's time you be present with yourself, take a step back, allow yourself rest, peace, and grace. Friend, you owe you. This episode is DIFFERENT. This isn't just host Lindsey Nichol talking - it's Lindsey GUIDING you through 3 calming meditations specifically designed for your recovery journey. Save this episode. Bookmark it. Come back to it whenever you need it. This time of year, anyone can feel overwhelmed by holiday chaos. But for someone with an eating disorder, the anxiety can be crippling. Pre-meal panic. Body image triggers. Overwhelming thoughts that feel impossible to quiet. Lindsey has walked this path. She knows how overwhelming those thoughts and feelings get, especially during the holidays. That's why she created these simple, powerful meditations to be your companion whenever you need to: Calm pre-meal anxiety before eating with family Ground yourself during a body image crisis Show yourself compassion on the hardest days Whether you're struggling with pre-meal anxiety, having a hard day with your body image, or just need a moment to ground yourself - press play on this episode. Come back to this episode when you're feeling overwhelmed, when you're feeling not enough, and when that anxiety feels like it's on overdrive. The 3 Guided Meditations: Meditation #1: Pre-Meal Calming Meditation (For Anxiety Before Eating) When to use this: Before lunch or dinner when anxiety feels highest When sitting down with family for meals When you feel panic rising about food choices When the ED voice is loudest before eating What Lindsey guides you through: Finding comfortable seated position Gentle breathing to become present Noticing thoughts like clouds passing in the sky Hand-on-heart, hand-on-belly grounding Affirmations: "I give my body permission to be nourished" "I choose to feed my body with compassion" "Food is my medicine. This is a good thing" "This is one step in my recovery journey" Breathing mantras: "I am stronger than the eating disorder voice" "I have the wisdom to nourish my body" "I am more than my body" Duration: ~5 minutes Key truth: These quiet moments of connection with yourself are powerful. This helps you separate from the ED voice and reconnect with your TRUE self. Meditation #2: Body Image Grounding Meditation (For Body Hate Days) When to use this: When you're having a hard body image day When "feeling fat" is overwhelming When critical thoughts about your body won't stop When you need to reconnect with gratitude for your body Important reminder: "Feeling fat" isn't actually a feeling - it's often your body's way of telling you something else is going on emotionally. What Lindsey guides you through: Comfortable position (seated or lying down) Noticing where your body contacts the ground (grounding) Body scan from feet to head with gentle awareness: Feet: Connecting to the ground, wiggling toes Legs: Getting stronger, supporting you Core/Stomach: Your true strength, your center (not to be micromanaged) Chest: Rising and falling with each breath Arms/Hands: Tools to express love, create amazing things Head: Houses thoughts AND dreams, desires, wishes Acknowledging judgmental thoughts without judgment Thanking your body for what it allows you to do Self-hug + gratitude: "Thank you for allowing me to walk, breathe, be grounded" Key practice: When critical thoughts arise, simply say "I notice I'm having a judgmental thought," then return to observing with curiosity. Duration: ~7 minutes Key truth: Your body is not your enemy. It's not up for negotiation. It's your HOME - where you live. Meditation #3: Self-Compassion Meditation (For Suffering + Hard Moments) When to use this: When you're feeling overwhelmed When you don't honor or love yourself When you don't know where to turn next When you need to be as kind to yourself as you'd be to a friend What Lindsey guides you through: Thinking of a recent challenge in recovery Noticing emotions and physical sensations Hand over heart, feeling steady heartbeat Affirmations: "This is a moment of suffering" "Suffering will pass - it's part of life and recovery" "I can be kind to myself in this process" Imagining a friend facing the same challenges Asking: "What would I say to them? How would I support them?" Offering yourself that same grace: "I'm doing the best I can" "Recovery takes time" "I'm worthy of patience and understanding" Key practice: You deserve the same kindness you'd offer your friend, mom, or sister. Duration: ~5 minutes Key truth: Your ED voice may be loud this season, but it doesn't have to control you or your actions. Key Reminders Throughout: Thoughts Are Like Clouds: They can come in (like your breath) and flow out (like your exhale) without you grabbing onto them. Your Truth: These thoughts can pass like clouds in the sky You are MORE than these thoughts This voice is NOT your truth You can choose recovery in this exact moment Your worth will NEVER be determined by food or weight You are SAFE here For Beginners: This isn't about doing it perfectly. It's about giving yourself permission and the gift of being present and compassionate. How to Use This Episode: Save it. Bookmark it. Add it to a playlist. Press play: Before meals when anxiety rises During body image struggles On overwhelmingly hard days Whenever you need grounding Come back often: These meditations get easier with regular practice. Each time you return to this episode, you're strengthening your recovery toolkit. Pause anytime: Lindsey guides you through, then gives you space to practice on your own. Feel free to pause and extend any meditation as long as you need. Powerful Truths from This Episode: "Since your body, it is worthy of nourishment" "These thoughts are like clouds passing in the sky - they can come in and go out without you grabbing onto them" "Your body is not your enemy. It's your home. It's where you live" "Feeling fat isn't actually a feeling - it's often your body's way of telling you something else is going on emotionally" "Your core is your true strength, your center - it's not to be micromanaged" "You deserve the same kindness you would offer to your friend" "Your eating disorder voice may be loud, but it doesn't have to control you" "Recovery isn't about perfection - it's about progress" "These quiet moments of connection are so powerful" Why These Meditations Work: They're Specific to ED Recovery: Not generic mindfulness - these address pre-meal panic, body image, and self-compassion specific to eating disorder struggles. They're Quick: 5-7 minutes each. You can do them anywhere, anytime. They're Guided: Lindsey walks you through every step. No meditation experience needed. They're Repeatable: Come back to this episode again and again. Build these into your recovery routine. They Separate You From the ED Voice: These practices help you recognize that the ED thoughts are NOT you - they're just thoughts passing through. Your Recovery Toolbox: These meditations are TOOLS in your recovery toolbox. Use them whenever you need extra support. Before meals → Meditation #1 Body image crisis → Meditation #2 Hard day/overwhelm → Meditation #3 Remember: You are stronger than you know. You don't have to do this alone. Ready for More Support? Sis, this episode is a transparent moment. I'm sharing why I'm taking a God-led break from the podcast this December; not out of exhaustion, but out of obedience. In a world that glorifies constant hustle, I'm choosing to honor God's voice over society's expectations. If you've been feeling stretched, overwhelmed, or sensing God calling you to slow down, this episode will speak straight to your heart.✨ This Episode Is For You If…You've been feeling stretched thinYou know God is whispering “rest,” but you've been ignoring itYou struggle with slowing down because you don't want to disappoint anyoneYou're craving clarity, peace, and spiritual alignmentYou want to learn how to honor your season without guilt
