Dil, siyaset, din, düşünce tarihi üzerine eserleri vardır. Dört ciltlik ‘'Büyük Türk Lügati'' adlı eseri ile tanınır (İslâmî Hareket Öncüleri isimli kitabımda bu zatın da hayat, düşünce ve hareketini yazdım).

In 2020, the Almeda Fire ripped through Jackson County. The catastrophic blaze destroyed more than 2,600 homes between Ashland, Talent, Phoenix and Medford, according to Jefferson Public Radio. The “Think Out Loud” team traveled to Southern Oregon during the spring of 2025 and talked to residents about how they’re thinking about fire in their communities now. In Ashland, the city and the forest are tied together. The watershed, which provides the source of Ashland’s drinking water, is more than 15,000 acres of potentially combustible forestland. Chris Chambers is the city’s forestry officer. He’s been a member of Ashland Fire And Rescue since 2002 and has worked on the city’s wildfire planning efforts. Along with city, federal and tribal partners, the Ashland-based Lomakatsi Restoration Project focuses on ecological resilience in Oregon and Northern California. Its restoration projects are spread throughout the region. Marko Bey is the executive director and founder of the organization. Belinda Brown is the tribal partnerships director. Chambers, Bey and Brown shared how they think about wildfire resilience and how they approach their work in their communities during a conversation we recorded with them and first aired in June 2025.

Türkiye'de demokrasinin saldırı altında olduğunu iddia eden Özel, CHP'nin kurumsal kimliğinin saldırı altında olduğunu da söylemiş…

“Sizinle savaşanlarla, Allâh yolunda savaşın” (Bakara s. 190) Allâh (c.c.)'un yolundan maksat, O (c.c.)'un dinidir. Allâh (c.c.)'un dinini güçlendirmek ve zafer elde etmek için sizinle savaşan müşriklere karşı cihad edin. Çünkü Allâh (c.c.)'a giden yol ve Allâh (c.c.)'un rızâsını kazanmak, dini uğrunda cihad etmekle mümkündür. Bu hüküm, henüz topyekün müşriklerle savaş emri gelmeden önceydi. Çünkü Medine'de savaşla ilgili olarak inen ilk âyet budur. Bu âyetin inmesinden sonra Resûlullâh (s.a.v.), kendisiyle savaşanlarla savaşır ve savaşmayanlara da herhangi bir şey yapmazdı. Nitekim İbn Abbas (r.a.)'den gelen şu rivayet de bunu desteklemektedir:“Bu âyet, Hudeybiye antlaşması sırasında nazil oldu. Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) ashabıyla birlikte hicretin altıncı yılında umre ziyareti yapmak için yola çıkmıştı. Sayıları 1400 kişiydi. Hepsi Hudeybiye denilen yerde konakladılar. Müşrikler onların Beytullah'a girmesini engellediler. Resûlullâh (s.a.v.) ve ashabı Hudeybiye'de bir ay kadar bekleyip sonra ertesi yıl umre yapmak üzere müşriklerle barış sözleşmesi yaptılar. Buna göre, bu yıl umre yapamadan dönecekler, gelecek yıl gelip umrelerini yapacaklardı. Sözleşme bu şekliyle imzalandı. Müşriklerin dediklerine Hz. Peygamber (s.a.v.) rızâ gösterdi. Sahabe (r.a.e.) de haram ayda ve Harem sınırları içinde savaşmayı uygun bulmadılar. İşte bunun üzerine Allâh (c.c.) bu âyeti indirdi. Fakat haddi aşmayın. Harem sınırları içinde, hem de ihramlıyken savaşı ilk başlatan siz olmayın. Çünkü Allâh (c.c.), haddi aşanları sevmez. Allâh (c.c.) haddi aşanlar için iyilik dilemez ve onları dostları kâbul etmez.”(İsmail Hakkı Bursevi, Ruh'ul Beyân Tefsiri, Bakara s. 190)

Arifin istiâzesi (Şeytân'dan Allâh (c.c.)'a sığınmak), Allâh (c.c.)'dan başkasını görmektir. Çünkü Şeytân ariflerin nurundan kaçar. Hikâye olunur ki, Ebû Sâid el-Harraz (k.s.) Hazretleri, Şeytân'ı rüyâda gördü. Onu asâ ile dövmek istedi. Şeytân: “Ey Ebû Said! Ben asâ'dan korkmam. Çünkü sopa gibi maddi şeyler beni incitmezler. Ben ancak; arifin kalbinin semasına doğduğu zaman, marifet güneşinin şuâlarından, ilâhi nurundan korkarım” dedi.Bazıları, “Şeytân'dan istiâze, Allâh (c.c.)'dan başkasından korkmayı izhâr etmektir ki bu da kulluğu ihlâl eder” dediler. Bunlara cevâben deriz ki: “Düşmanı, düşman bilmek muhabbeti kuvvetlendirir, sevgiyi gerçekleştirir. Allâh (c.c.)'dan başkasından Allâh (c.c.)'a koşmak ve ona yönelmek, kulluğu tamamlar. Allâh (c.c.)'un emirlerine sarılmak, tâatı her şey üzerine takdim etmektir. Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkmayandan korkmak, Allâh (c.c.)'un büyüklüğü karşısında insanın çaresizliğini ortaya koymasıdır. “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkuyorum” demek, “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'un azâbından ve gadâbından korkuyorum” demektir. “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkandan korkarım” demek; “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkanların bedduâlarından korkuyorum” demektir. “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkmayandan korkarım” demek; “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'dan korkmayanların kötü işlerinden korkarım” demektir. Tefsir-i Kebir'de şöyle buyuruldu: “Ben Allâh (c.c.)'a sığınırım, kişinin tüm iyilikleri kazânıp bütün tehlikelerinden kurtulması için mahlûkattan halika ve nefsi için sonsuz ihtiyaçlardan kurtulup; kâmil manâda Hâkk (c.c.) zenginliğine dönmektir. “O halde hemen Allâh'a kaçın. Haberiniz olsun ki, ben size O'ndan açık bir uyarıcıyım” (Zâriyât s. 50) ayetinin sırrı budur. Ve yine burada Râbbu'l-âleminin huzuruna yaklaşmaya acziyetten başka vesile yoktur. Acizlik, makamların sonudur.” Hasan-ı Basrî (r.âleyh) Hazretleri şöyle buyurdu: “Kim huzuru kalble Şeytan'dan Allâh (c.c.)'a sığınırsa; Cenâb-ı Allâh, onunla Şeytan'ın arasına üç yüz perde gerer; perdenin arası yerle gök arası gibidir.”(İsmail Hâkkı Bursevi, Rûhu'l-Beyân Tefsiri, c.1, s.27)

Maïssa Bey est née et vit en Algérie. Lauréate du prix des Libraires algériens en 2005 pour l'ensemble de son œuvre, elle est publiée aux éd. de L'Aube en France et aux éd. Barzakh en Algérie. Co-fondatrice des éditions Chèvre-feuille étoilée, elle y publie des textes courts, du théâtre et des nouvelles dans la revue Étoiles d'encre. À l'occasion du 31ème Maghreb des livres dont elle est la marraine, elle évoque une autre voix de la littérature algérienne, Assia Djebar. «… écrire à la première personne du singulier et de la singularité, corps nu et voix à peine déviée par le timbre étranger, rameute face à nous tous les dangers symboliques. Toute femme écrivant qui s'avance ainsi hardiment, prend le risque de voir combien son chemin est miné. » Assia Djebar se présente comme une femme écrivant dans cet extrait de Ces voix qui m'assiègent. Elle a fait très tôt irruption dans la vie de lectrice de Maïssa Bey qui lui a adressé son premier roman avec cette dédicace : À vous, Assia, qui m'avez ouvert les chemins de l'écriture.  Maïssa Bey nous livre dans ce recueil, son rapport intime à cette figure majeure de la littérature de langue française et montre combien son œuvre est liée à l'histoire et à l'évolution de la société en Algérie. Sous prétexte de fiction romanesque, Assia Djebar forçait les portes et les fenêtres aux volets clos des maisons en apparence silencieuses et repliées sur elles-mêmes, entrait et nous faisait entrer dans l'intime des femmes, de ces femmes reléguées, recluses, assignées à résidence depuis leur naissance ou presque. Elle disait leurs rêves bâillonnés, leurs désirs, leurs espoirs et leurs renoncements, mais elle disait aussi la volonté de certaines d'entre elles de franchir les seuils, de s'ouvrir au monde. (Présentation des éditions Chèvre-feuille étoilée) Elles sont 22 femmes écrivaines de langue française. Et en cette langue commune, langue maternelle pour certaines, langue marâtre pour d'autres – si l'on reprend l'expression d'Assia Djebar – c'est-à-dire autre que celle de la mère, langue choisie ou imposée par l'histoire, pas seulement leur histoire, mais celle de leur pays, elles nous livrent un bref fragment de leur vie, elles reviennent sur les lieux de leur enfance. Créé en 2017 et regroupant plus de 170 femmes, le Parlement des écrivaines francophones (PEF) a pour objectif de faire entendre la voix des autrices d'expression française sur le monde. Le PEF travaille également à faire reconnaître la place de l'écrivaine dans son pays, à réaffirmer son rôle dans le dialogue civilisationnel et à défendre les droits des femmes et des hommes partout où ils se trouvent attaqués. In 2020, the Almeda Fire ripped through Jackson County. The catastrophic blaze destroyed more than 2,600 homes in Phoenix, Talent, Ashland and Medford. The “Think Out Loud” team traveled to Southern Oregon recently and talked to residents about how they're thinking about fire in their communities now. In Ashland, the city and the forest are tied together. The watershed, which provides the source of Ashland's drinking water, is more than 15,000 acres of potentially combustible forestland. Chris Chambers is the city’s forestry officer. He’s been a member of Ashland Fire And Rescue since 2002 and has worked on the city’s wildfire planning efforts. Along with city, federal and tribal partners, the Ashland-based Lomakatsi Restoration Project focuses on ecological resilience in Oregon and Northern California. Its restoration projects are spread throughout the region. Marko Bey is the executive director and founder of the organization. Belinda Brown is the tribal partnerships director. We hear how Chambers, Bey and Brown are thinking about wildfire resilience and how they approach their work in their communities.

"I see you pulling a Beyoncé here,” I said to my client who was really tapping into her own inner Bey.   I'm referring to how Beyoncé broke the mold and rewrote the rules for herself—without anyone's invitation or permission—to win her recent Grammy for Album of the Year. I saw the same thing with this client: breaking the mold and rewriting the rules for herself, without waiting for anyone's invitation or permission. In fact, a number of the women leaders I work with are doing incredible work to figure out how to create new leadership opportunities for themselves because old-school systems and structures have kept them confined in their current roles for far too long.  In the work I'm doing with these women leaders, there are a few key steps I designed for them to take as part of a larger leadership growth strategy.  These are steps anyone can take when they are ready to forge a new path in leadership development - without waiting for an invitation or permission: 1. Define your top 5 leadership values. 2. Actively embrace your leadership values to amplify your leadership brand. 3. Advance your thought leadership to think more expansively about what is possible outside of your current role. 4. Identify opportunities to BE SEEN in places and spaces outside your current role. 5. Start making connections with leaders who openly embrace the same leadership values you do. 6. Position yourself for invitations to show up as a subject matter expert in your field. This is how Beyonce was able to rewrite the rules and forge a new path to her Grammy success – and how you can do the same thing. In this episode, I share with you exactly how to integrate these strategic steps into your current work.  When you are stuck inside a system that doesn't work for you, it can be really challenging to see outside of the system. There are often multiple concentric circles of power (if not systems of oppression) that put a massive buffer between you and new opportunities. To cut through the junk (old school systems), you must take strategic steps over time to circumvent the systems that are holding you back. Of course, you can do this with a coach (Hi, that's me!). Or, you can start on your own by following the steps above to channel YOUR inner Beyoncé!
