2.15.20 - A Biblical Response In A Time of Crisis by Church Alive NWA
By: Pastor Tony Nichols John 13:34-35; Romans 14:19 One Anothering One Another In today’s teaching, we shall see that we are exhorted to “one another on another”. We are called to be people of love in action. This is how Christ expresses Himself to others in the body of Christ and as a witness to the world. Jesus taught us that as we love one another and walk in unity, the world will take notice and know the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ.
By: Pastor Tony Nichols Genesis 27:25-29 The Father’s Blessing This teaching will reveal the heart of the Father towards His people. He loves us perfectly and wants to release His special blessing to each of us. Perhaps, you grew up without a father present in the home or you had a stepdad that wasn’t appropriately relating to you. Some of you even had mothers that were harsh or hurtful. The result is often wounds that hinder and even control our destinies. Today, we will identify our wounds, receive healing, and step into a God-blessed future. The Father is ready and waiting to release His unique blessing upon you!
By: Pastor Tony Nichols I Chronicles 4:9-10; Proverbs 10:22 When we pray in faith believing the word of the Lord, we will see clear and powerful answers to our prayers. Some friends gifted me with a little book in 2000. As I read it and have attempted to apply the truths found in it consistently, it has changed my life! As we look at the life and simple prayer of a man named Jabez, we will be transformed and be even more fruitful. It continues to remind and encourage me regarding God’s heart to bless us and make us a great blessing to others.
By: Gary Barker II Peter 1:3-4; Matthew 18:19-20 Bless the Lord, Bless Others The scripture teaches that we have everything we need pertaining to life and godliness in Christ. We don’t pray to beg God for anything. We desire to hear His will and receive His revelation on an issue. Then, we pray and proclaim in powerful agreement.
By: Pastor Tony Nichols Psalm 34:1-8; Galatians 6:7-10; Romans 12:17-21 Bless the Lord, Bless Others The facts are we are blessed by God and what He has done for us. He has graced us with such blessing that we are a channel of His blessings to others. We understand more of these blessings and they seem to become more releasable through encounters we have in praise and worship, through encounters both private and public. Today, let’s grow in our understanding of how to bless the Lord and be a blessing to others.
Blessed And A Blessing If we have a choice between being “blessed or cursed”, a healthy person will choose “blessed” every time. The Bible is full of God speaking and releasing blessings. Often, they are conditional, but absolutely worth meeting the conditions! God’s word also speaks of curses that come upon us for sin, disobedience, and rebellion. This is removed in Christ if we have repented and continue in the truth. Read Galatians 3:13-14
James 2: 13-26 By: Bud Madden This morning’s teaching will insight us and encourage us to trust God and step into the works God has for us in the Christian life.
Romans 12:6a; I Corinthians 12:12-26 By: Pastor Tony Nichols We are loved by God and are His precious commodity in the earth. He values us so much that he sent His only begotten Son as the acceptable sacrifice for our sin and separation. He redeemed us for the reconciled relationship with Himself and to become His ambassadors and ministry instruments in the earth. Today's message is about how to identify and put to work our God-given gifts.
Ephesians 4:11-16 & Romans 12:3-8 By: Pastor Tony Nichols After we come to Christ as our personal Savior and Lord, why does He leave us here on earth? We are here to love God, love people, discover and develop our God-given gifts, and do the works He assigns us to advance His kingdom. Today, we will discover and define the motivational gifts that helps us understand who we are and how to identify and value others.
II Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:29; Mark 12:29-31By: We live in a day and time where people are searching to answer some vital questions. Who am I? Why am I here? Many lives are full of busy-ness without much depth and meaning. We are beginning a new series that will lead us to biblical answers about our identity and purpose. If you are born-again, you are a new creation. Old things have passed away and new things have come. Take a journey with me into discovering who God says you are and embrace your God-given destiny.
Corinthians 13:5 Today’s message is about two very important questions. II Corinthians 13:5 challenges us to examine ourselves and see where we are in our faith. We will sharpen our focus and measure our growth without condemnation. Then, we will begin to set the course for 2020 personally, as a family, and a church. The best is yet to be!
Luke 2:1-14 Years ago I went to Russia and brought home Matryoshka Dolls to each of my daughters. These dolls are intricately painted and shaped like an egg. As you open one, another slightly smaller appears. As you open that one, another appears until you have 9-10 Matryoshka Dolls. It is the gift that keeps on giving, just like the Father’s gift of His Son Jesus. We will explore in today’s teaching, some of the many facets of Jesus coming as a perfect man.
A special Christmas story about a boy Ollie.
Mark 1:22-25; Genesis 30:30-43 As a continuation of last week’s teaching about hearing the Lord’s voice, we shall discover the relationship between hearing and knowing God’s will, praying and acting in faith, seeing great obstacles removed, followed by amazing breakthroughs! Jesus modeled this kind of faith and challenged His disciples to walk in the same fashion.
This message will give you the biblical foundations for hearing the Lord’s voice and directions in our lives. Then, you will receive practical instruction on ways you can hear the Lord too in your daily lives.
We all find ourselves growing a little cold and hard in our daily faith. It steals our joy and sense of effectiveness in the Christian walk. What are some biblical and practical cures to overcome hardheartedness? Today’s teaching will help us overcome and restore the joy of our salvation.
Perhaps all of us have suffered from developing a hard heart. We find ourselves slowly being confronted with life pressures and circumstances. When we became followers of Christ, we stepped out of the kingdom of this world and into the kingdom of God. We are now His ambassadors with all the power of heaven and the authority in the name of Jesus backing us.
The world is filled with bored people living dissatisfied lives. They seem to lack any sense of reality or purpose. Discovering God’s purpose for his church, individual purpose, and giftings in the church, and a contributing lifestyle to their communities is the answer. As we grow up in Christ, how do we discover, embrace, and fulfill our God-given destiny?

The truth of God established in His word is forever settled in heaven and given us for our instruction here on earth. The devil and the world system constantly bombards us to comprise what the Bible teaches and calls us to accept trends and practices the Bible forbids as appropriate for today. We will examine some prevalent beliefs in our world today from God’s word vs. the world system.
Today's message has a bit of an end times edge to it. Jesus said, "the coming of the Son of Man shall be just like it was in the days of Noah". This message contrasts the spiritual and societal condition in the literal days of Noah and our current days. Things seem to be lining up for difficult days and the coming of the Lord! Matthew 24:32-41 & Genesis 6:1-14
