Building off last week's client story, this episode dives into the practical differences between marketing skills versus experiences and why most online marketing advice doesn't work for energy healers, Reiki practitioners, and transformational workers.I break down the fundamental shift from describing what you do to helping people feel what their life will be like after working with you, complete with real examples you can apply immediately.BY THE TIME YOU FINISH LISTENING TO THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL DISCOVER:Why features-benefits-logic marketing (designed for course creators) falls flat for experiential work. The difference between "reduces stress and promotes relaxation" and "Sunday evening anxiety becomes Sunday evening anticipation."How to paint experiences instead of listing features (with specific before/after language examples). Why "60-minute Reiki session with certified practitioner" creates zero emotional connection. The body-based technique: where would someone actually feel "stress relief" or "confidence" in their body? How to show multiple future states without being "wishy-washy" about your results. Why clients don't care about your methodology, they care how they'll feel afterward (just like choosing a massage therapist).Specific language shifts: from "energy healing addresses root causes" to "that quiet surprise when you realize you haven't reached for your usual coping mechanisms."How to create "felt sense" without using more words or getting overly complicated. And while you're here, follow us on Instagram @creativelyowned for more daily inspiration on effortlessly attracting the most aligned clients without spending hours marketing your business or chasing clients. Dr. JB Hixson Mary welcomes back JB Hixson today to discuss discipleship. What does it mean to disciple, or be discipled? And why didn't Jesus say, "go and make converts"? Much of the church equates the two but they are not the same concept. What exactly is a disciple? If we start there, it will be easier to define discipleship; but the general idea at some juncture is about a relationship, and from that comes a life-long process of learning, and growing, and resembling Jesus. Considering the seemingly stunted growth of so many church-goers, we might be able to deduct that in addition to a lack of Bible knowledge, there is little to no discipling going on, and where there is, depth is lacking. What are some of the ways the church can rectify this? How can we be more engaged with one another instead of disengaged? How does it translate into making disciples of all nations? Converts, yes. Disciples, yes. The church needs to get busy on the Great Commission! A thoughtful hour with JB. When it comes to launching, not all lists are created equal. Not everybody in your audience and on your main email list came into your world for that offer that you are about to launch. That's where a lot of people mess up and fail: They collect random people all year long from different directions like quiz funnels, lead magnets, or real-world events, and then suddenly they're like: "Hey, buy my thing!"But a lot of those people might not necessarily connect with what you're offering at that moment. That's why having a dedicated launch list is key!People on that list have the intention of wanting to go through your launch and you can get them excited and curios about your launch and your offer. And when you do that, you're going to see your conversions go up.Resources:Adaptive Marketing Program - Adaptive Marketing Program is an exclusive opportunity for online business owners, coaches, course creators, and membership site owners to play bigger and bolder in their business and explode their bank account with more clients! For a list of our resources & recommendations visit: https://onlinemarketingpodcast.com/learn-with-paul-melissa/Connect with us on social!Instagram: @realpaulpruitt & @realmelissapruittFacebook: @realpaulpruitt & @realmelissapruitt

Romans 6:17 — Christians can become spiritually depressed, perhaps not experiencing the joy of their salvation. Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones explains that they often do not realize the greatness of the gospel. In this sermon on Romans 6:17 titled “Mind, Heart, and Will,” Dr. Lloyd-Jones shows that the Christian message involves the whole person, and the whole person is to be affected by it. Christians cannot rejoice in the gospel if their doctrine is unbalanced or lopsided. Some Christians emphasize merely the morality of the Christian message. Others believe Christianity is only about forgiveness of sins. This is due to the fact that many preachers embrace doctrine that lacks balance. Converts often look like the people God used in their conversion, picking up their characteristics. Thus, for many, their understanding of the Christian message is lacking. Listen as Dr. Lloyd-Jones argues that the gospel transforms the whole person, not simply part of them. A Christian is one who knows why they are what they are. A Christian must be ready to give a reason for the hope within. As a Christian battles spiritual depression, it is imperative that they know the whole gospel and have been affected by it. In this way, one may, once again, experience the joy of their salvation.

Natalie Koussa turned podcast listeners into over $45K in sales in 90 days—without a sales page or even editing her episodes. The secret? A trust-first visibility funnel that starts with guesting on other people's podcasts and leads into a private podcast that sells her services on autopilot — and converts 60% faster than her usual sales cycle. In this case study, Natalie explains how she creates content to speak to two distinct buyer types, why skipping fancy intros and editing actually increased conversions, and how storytelling—not showboating—has grown her business with a small but mighty audience. If you've been craving a visibility strategy that prioritizes depth over reach, this episode breaks down the organic, low lift funnel built entirely on trust—and why it works so well. A primary school on Auckland's North Shore is overflowing with so many students, it's had to convert the library and the hall way into classrooms. Milford School has a roll of 550 and is struggling to take any more students - even if they're in zone. It's an issue becoming more common across certain areas in Auckland, with property intensification, house prices and immigration playing a part in the rapid growth of some schools. But it's a different story in some of the more affluent areas of Auckland, where some schools are experiencing the opposite and struggling to fill their rolls. Bella Craig reports.

Send us a textCulture isn't just a buzzword – it's the foundation that determines whether businesses thrive or merely survive. This conversation dives deep into why prioritizing people before products and profits creates sustainable success. The research is clear: money only impacts happiness up to about $75,000 per year. Beyond that threshold, purpose and meaning take precedence – especially among younger generations seeking work-life balance and connection to something greater than themselves. We explore how sharing your long-term vision with team members creates buy-in and alignment that ripples throughout your organization.Core values deserve special attention. Generic principles like "honesty" and "integrity" fall flat compared to actionable values that guide decision-making. One example shared: "Do what's right, not what's easy" – a principle that team members can apply both professionally and personally. We discuss how businesses impact far more lives than most realize, with a single company potentially influencing thousands of households through its network of clients and their employees. As your business grows, consider establishing a dedicated "culture steward" to maintain your organizational DNA through hiring and onboarding. Like Amazon's famous door desks (still used today as a symbol of frugality), culture-defining elements become powerful when intentionally cultivated. Whether you run a marketing agency, contracting business, or any other enterprise, the message remains clear: happy teams naturally create happy customers. Your culture isn't just nice to have – it's your competitive advantage. If you enjoyed this chat From the Yellow Chair, consider joining our newsletter, "Let's Sip Some Lemonade," where you can receive exclusive interviews, our bank of helpful downloadables, and updates on upcoming content. Sales is an endless grind when conversations go nowhere and promising leads vanish without a trace. It's frustrating to put in the effort only to see minimal results, leaving you wondering if the problem is the market, the pitch, or something deeper. Sometimes, the very strategies meant to bring in business end up pushing prospects away—too aggressive, too impersonal, or simply not hitting the right pain points. The real challenge isn't just finding more leads, but figuring out why the right ones aren't sticking around. Scott Channell, a B2B lead generation expert and author of Sell the Meeting, has decades of experience in outbound sales and executive appointment setting. Having booked over 2,000 high-level meetings, he now trains companies on sales strategies and process optimization. Today, he shares key tactics for successful outbound sales, emphasizing the importance of targeting high-probability prospects, avoiding common mistakes, and implementing a systematic follow-up approach. His insights highlight the value of preparation and persistence in closing deals effectively. Stay tuned!
