After releasing the three-part Missed Signs podcast series, we wanted to highlight Aubree + Gordon for getting the signs right in their dating relationship! Aubree and Gordon got married in April 2019 and dated throughout their collegiate careers at the University of Florida. They are true testaments of God's faithfulness and allowing the Lord to draw them in during times of temptation and uncertainty. We are so blessed to have them in the Church on the Dirt family.
Jake leads Michelle in a series of questions to give her the platform to speak about the current events in racial injustice and her experiences as a black woman. Michelle is full of grace, truth, and kindness as she boldly and courageously dives into this much needed conversation. This was originally a conversation on Instagram Live and has been edited to remove imperfections in the quality of the audio. Biblical References: Job (entire book) James 1:19 - My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry...

Having a hole in your swing means there's a location or pitch that you can't hit. As softball and baseball players, we aim to have no holes in our swing so why don't we do the same for our minds? Nehemiah is the perfect example of someone who knew there couldn't be any breaches in the walls surrounding Israel. We should strive to build up strong walls around our mind, family, community, and church. Scripture: Nehemiah 3-7
A couple weeks ago Lorie was asked our Ep. 2 question: Coach, how do you stay woke? After getting an interpretation and finding out being "woke" is the new way to talk about staying alert, alive, and aware, she gave them their answer. We thought you might be interested in the answer as well. If you have a question you would like answered, submit it in the Prayer Request tab! #4Him Scripture: Galatians 2:20

Michelle has a lot of experience with finding contentment in the ways God has made her different and unique. Listen to her take and encouragement about what to do if you find yourself in this situation. If you have a question you would like answered, submit it in the Prayer Request tab! #4Him
Sometimes the Old Testament is dense and difficult to understand, but Aubree ties everything together. Not only is this the last part to the three part series "Go, Because I Go Before You", but she also identifies how the language in Exodus mirrors the language used in Galatians. God is the same God He was yesterday, today, and forever!
As we were studying the story of Moses and the Israelites, the question arose - what is our pillar in the sky? God is gracious enough to give us a pillar of fire/cloud to follow throughout this life. It's the Word. When we're getting ready to go speak to a group of people, we ask ourselves - what do we want to tell these people? And every time the answer is similar - trust the sovereignty of the Word of God. Truth + Love.
In this message, Janie will teach through Exodus 13 + 14 and explain how God revealed Himself to the Israelites by leading them through the Wilderness.
Aubree originally shared her "Surrounded" message at the PGF Early Thanksgiving Showcase in Huntington Beach, Ca, and it soon became our theme for 2019. When you listen to her message you'll quickly know why.
"Don't be surprised if you're not hungry for the Word, when you're getting full off of the World." - David Platt The only thing to combat the hours we spend soaking up social media, is by the power of the Word of God.
In this message, Janie walks through three examples in the gospel of John when God uses trials to bring glory to Himself. God's plan for adversity in our life isn't always equivalent with comfort. Sometimes, the plan is simply to magnify who He is and that is enough for us as believers!
Have you ever wished you were done changing? That maybe you'd one day "arrive" and not have to be stretched or challenged anymore? Michelle talks about how the Christian life consists of constant transforming to look more and more like Jesus.
Join Nikki Udria and Lorie Coleman as they discuss how to display their faith on the field in an extremely competitive and pressure field environment. Nikki shares her own struggles as well as tips on how to play #4Him when the competition is rough and the pressure is high.
