Turning 53 has John reflecting on what actually matters. In this birthday episode, he shares five revelations shaped by loss, growth, love, and starting over. From losing his house to finding more meaning, joy, and freedom, this is a deeply personal conversation about accepting the truth, living in alignment, and letting life change you. He talks about why growth often feels like loss before it feels like expansion, why love is something we build and practice, and why starting over is not failure but a skill. This episode feels like a check-in with yourself. A reminder that what was true for you before may not be true now. That chasing highs will never give you the kind of life alignment can. That love is less about finding the perfect feeling and more about consistency, repair, and honesty. And that no matter your age, you can begin again. If you've been reevaluating your life, grieving an old version of yourself, or wondering whether it's too late to change course, this episode will meet you there. In this episode: Truth changes your life when you fully accept it Why alignment matters more than chasing highs Growth often feels like loss before it feels like expansion Love is built through consistency, honesty, and repair You can start over more times than you think
Dalton Key - Scripture Reading – Ephesians 4:14,15
When delivering a message or should I say when delivering a difficult message it is very important to make sure there is some truth some love and some accountability attached to it. It's important so your message gets through clearly and then it is up to the person you're telling it to on how they receive it. This goes for parents and for coaches. Hell, it even goes for bosses at work.

Second John, though the shortest of all the New Testament books, reminds Christians of the three inseparable elements found at the core of Biblical Christianity: a committment to the truth, love for other Christians, and obedience to God's commands.

Sascha works with women leaders who have achieved external success but still feel disconnected from themselves. Together, they unpack why relational patterns repeat, how to build partnerships rooted in truth rather than performance, and what it means to live from your deepest intelligence, the intelligence of the body. This conversation illuminates the subtle ways we abandon ourselves, how to reclaim our needs with integrity, and why intimacy always begins with honest self-resonance.“Intimacy only works when you stop performing and start telling the truth — not the dramatic truth, but the embodied one.” — Sascha HaertKey TakeawaysWhy many high-performing individuals struggle with intimacy and self-connectionHow the nervous system shapes our ability to stay open, present, and receptiveThe two pillars that Sascha believes every relationship needs to thriveHow to express truth without collapsing into reactivity or performanceWhy sensuality is a doorway to self-awareness, not just pleasureHow polyamory can act as a healing phase — and where it becomes a bypassPractical tools to speak the unspoken and build authentic connectionsHow to recognize and stop subtle self-abandonment in real timeThe difference between compatibility and resonanceWhat it means to live from “yes” instead of fear, obligation, or patternYou can find Sascha Haert on IG here. Our unity is God's plan. Unity in the church is how we show Jesus, know Jesus, and grow in Jesus. So why do we often feel so divided? Why do we fear that our unity is a fragile thing, easily broken? This passage helps us see that unity is not what we thought. It is not merely the absence of conflict or the absence of error, but a shared celebration of Jesus. We already share an essential unity with every true believer and we have an expansive unity that gets bigger and bigger as each of us happily agree with Jesus in every area of life.

If we took a peek inside your home church, what would we see? Well, what is the purpose of the local church? What should be its priorities? Ron answers those questions and more today, as he continues his teaching series, “Route 66: The Ultimate Road Trip Through The Bible.”
The Christian church is worldwide, but it's also localized. We have community churches, life groups, small group Bible studies. But no matter where they are, however large or small, they should have at least one practical thing in common. Dr. Ron shares that commonality with us next, as he continues his Something Good Radio teaching series, “The Ultimate Road Trip Through The Bible: The General Epistles and Revelation.”
What happens when we try a playful "this or that" rapid‑fire and it spirals into one of our most intimate episodes yet? We're talking strength vs. cardio, the "hotel gym sin of free‑weight neglect", protein‑powder in coffee, and one very real moment where we almost had our first on‑air argument. Then we pivoted into something richer: the 26‑year age gap between us (yes, let's talk about it), how loving someone across generations showed us different parts of ourselves, and how travel + routines reflect something deeper about who we are. Whether you're here for fitness truth bombs, relationship honesty, or just a good laugh with two women breaking their own rules, welcome to it. Resources mentioned: HSM Smoothie HSM Resistance Bands 3 Key takeaways from this episode: Strength is non‑negotiable. If you're picking between cardio and weights, choose weights. Strength training imparts longevity, joint health, metabolic boosts, and yes -- better emotional resilience too. Age gaps don't define connection. A 26‑year difference? Doesn't matter when you're more aligned in energy, values, and growth than any number. The wrinkle lines fade when the spark and mutual respect are real. Your routine should support your joy. Whether it's slipping protein into your morning coffee, ditching the generic hotel gym in favor of fresh air and dumbbells, or streaming your favorite class from anywhere -- wellness should feel like a gift, not a grind.

In the wake of Charlie Kirk's tragic death, Fr. Meyer reflects on his witness to truth and courage in a world filled with confusion and violence. Like John the Baptist and the martyrs before him, Charlie spoke boldly about life, marriage, and the dignity of every human person — and he paid the ultimate price. This homily calls us as Catholics to engage the world not with silence or fear, but with love rooted in truth, compassion, and conviction. We are reminded of Jesus' words: “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” (Luke 6:27–28).

In this powerful message from Ephesians 4, we explore Paul's nautical imagery showing how the world tries to pull believers off course and why community is our spiritual protection. Just because we feel something doesn't make it right. So when we say that "love is love," what we're really doing is instinctively applying the terms and conditions of what we think love should be. But, Pastor Mike challenges, are we really qualified to define and impose those limits? From the moment Jesus announced “The Kingdom of God is here; Turn and believe the Good News,” followers of Jesus have lived under the public authority of Jesus the Lord. Jesus' disciples are called to do the politics of Jesus as set out in Matthew 5-7 and throughout the four Gospels. This vision is lived out in the ekklesia - the called out – the “citizens of heaven doing the business of heaven.” Yet in 2024, the power of identity politics in the U. S., on the left and the right, within the churches, threatens to marginalize, if not obliterate the church's public witness to Jesus. Join our discussion of the chaotic partisan politics of 2024 seen through the lens of Jesus the Lord.

Ever heard this phrase? “I'm just speaking the truth in love.” How about this one? “Love without truth affirms us but denies our flaws. Truth without love has no compassion for the person's flaws.” Today, we talk about the relationship between truth + love. Is there a difference? Is love opposed to truth? Is love an enemy to truth? What if there is no tension between truth and love? What if love is the highest form of truth?

HelloWelcome to Life Points with Ronda, the podcast that helps you navigate life's challenges with practical wisdom and actionable advice. where we discuss important topics that affect our everyday lives. Today, I'm speaking to the ladies and ladies our topic for today is: Truth or Dare? To Love or Not? This is the QuestionHello ladies, and welcome to another exciting edition of Life Points with Rhonda. Today, we're delving into a topic that's as timeless as it is complex - love. It's the fuel that powers our passions, the balm that soothes our wounds, and the tie that binds us to the people who mean the most. But it's not always clear when we should open our hearts, and when we'd be better off keeping them under lock and key. So, let's talk about it: Truth or dare? To love or not? This is the question.Truth: Love is VulnerabilityTo love is to put your heart on the line. It's an act of vulnerability that leaves you exposed to the potential for pain. Love is a profound emotional investment, and like any investment, it comes with risks. It means trusting another person with your deepest emotions, your dreams and fears, your insecurities and triumphs. It's showing them who you really are, without the masks and defenses we often present to the world. When love is reciprocated, it can fill us with joy, happiness, and a sense of fulfillment that's hard to match. It can provide us with a deep sense of connection and belonging, and can give our lives a richness and depth that's unparalleled. But when love is unrequited or betrayed, it can lead to immense hurt. It can feel as if our world has been shattered, and our trust violated. The same vulnerability that allows for deep connection also opens us up to deep pain. Dare: Take the Leap of FaithDespite the risks, many of us choose to love anyway. We dare to open ourselves up to the possibility of pain because we believe in the potential for joy and fulfillment. We take the leap of faith that is love, hoping that our trust will not be misplaced. It's important to remember that love is not just about the euphoria of the early days, but also about the work and commitment it takes to maintain a relationship. It's about communication, understanding, compromise, and respect. It's about growing together, learning about each other, and supporting each other through life's ups and downs. To love is to dare to believe in the potential of a shared future, even when the path is uncertain. It's about having the courage to take a chance on someone else, and on yourself. To love or not?To love or not is a deeply personal decision that only you can make. It's about weighing the potential for pain against the potential for joy, and deciding which risks are worth taking. It's about understanding your needs and desires, and deciding what kind of life you want to live.Remember, there's no right or wrong answer. Some people choose to love freely and openly, while others prefer to guard their hearts more closely. Some people thrive on the intensity and depth of romantic love, while others are fulfilled by the love of friends, family, and self. What's important is that you make the choice that feels right for you. Love is a journey, and every journey is unique. Whether you choose to love or not, remember that you are enough just as you are.
