The book of Judges is the continuing story of a God on mission to gather a community of worshippers, for Himself, from within an evil and rebellious world. The repetitive theme of, “everyone did what was right in their own eyes,” not only sets the tone for the culture, but describes the attitudes of some of the darkest “heroes” in God's story of redemption. We must all fight the temptation to “judge” the judges for, in truth, we are no different. We are equally unfaithful and fully convinced of our own “rightness”. In truth, when we read about the ever- rebellious Israel with its misguided leaders, we see ancient versions of our own present-day idolatry—individual and corporate. This story, and every story, is about God's grace.

There are seasons in our lives where God feels far away. Often times we know the promises and the platitudes about Christ being with us and more importantly in us…BUT…it certainly doesn't feel that way. In these moments we would do anything just to taste His grace, mercy, and love again…BUT…it seems that the spring has run dry. In this series we will walk through the causes, the struggles, and the promises concerning what one theologian called “the dark night of the soul”.

One of the greatest gifts we have received from God is His word directly to us. God has given us the road map to peace, joy, and life in Him. Yet often times we allow the Bible to just become another book we sit on our shelves. In this series we take a look at the importance of the Bible in our every day life and how to study it.

Missions Sunday is a time for us to reflect on the missions projects that God has enabled our church to be a part of over the last 12 months, and also to affirm the fact that we are on a mission together as the people of God to expand the Kingdom and make disciples of all nations. As we talk about the subject of missions together, it is important to keep in mind that the work of missions itself is never primary, but the worship of God should be first in our hearts and minds; we should be personally passionate about the glory of God and out of that passion, we should have a heart for missions.
The Acts of the Apostles (simply referred to as "Acts") is filled with stories of God revealing Himself in incredible ways to the early church, further fulfilling His promises to His people and working in and through them miraculously. During our summer series we will be a deeper look into Luke's account, and unpack its significance for us today.

In 605 B.C. four young men get exiled to Babylon where their faith is challenged by the pull of culture. In the midst of this pagan culture they demonstrate for all of us how to put your trust in God when those around you don't. The true stories in this book challenge even the boldest among us to live out our faith with complete surrender.

Jesus died. Jesus rose again. Now what? Well, He suggested that we would be better off because He would send His Spirit down to indwell believers. The Spirit's power is demonstrated throughout the book of Acts and beyond, but what does that mean for us today? In this series we will be looking intensively into the third person of the Godhead and explore His character, workings, and role in the life of a believer.

God's story of redemption is a never-ending one. From the beginning of time, God has woven together a picture of grace and restoration that came into focus at the Cross, and persists throughout eternity. In this series, we will be retelling the Gospel story in four parts, connecting the dots from Creation to the Empty Grave, capping off our series by celebrating the message of Easter together.

Discovering who you are "in Christ" is essential in your spiritual life. When you are "in Christ", you are different than before; something has changed. If that's not the case, we have an issue. When the Bible says, "the old has passed, behold, the new has come", it means there has to be a transition. Who you were must end, and who you are must begin. In this series, we are going to talk about what our new life, "in Christ", entails and how it should affect everything.

So many of us just want to be normal, right? The problem with that is many times being normal means lowering the bar for ourselves and fitting into the crowd. This isn't what our lives were meant to be. WEIRD is the the theme of our Disciple Now this year, and we will be carrying it over into our Sunday services as we wrap up an incredible event.
God calls us to certain things in life - marriage, parenthood, singleness, etc. Regardless of where you fall, we are meant to thrive where we are called. However, you can see people all around whose lives and families are unraveling before their very eyes, and they are unsure how it all began. In this series, we want to challenge our people to be intentional in creating environments where God can work to strengthen bonds in the home, thus laying a solid foundation for the future and avoiding the wreckage that comes from neglecting the most important relationships in our lives.

We're all familiar with The Nativity Scene. It's something we've become quite used to around this time of the year. This Christmas, we are going to pinpoint some of the characters portrayed therein, and take a look at the story that got them in position to take part in this picturesque moment.

Presence matters. It's not merely about where you happen to find yourself on a daily basis, but what you do when you are there. We are not called to simply exist and survive, but to thrive and take the name of Jesus to people wherever we may be. During this three-week series, we will focus on several important areas where we believe our presence is requested and required as Christ-followers!

The Bible tells us to care for orphans, so we take that call seriously. As a church we want to come together and celebrate the ministry of adoption, while also challenging our church as a whole not to take this command lightly, remembering that those in Christ have all been adopted as sons and daughters.

Christian, do you ever feel like your faith is dead and buried in the ground, fruitless and lacking vitality? If your answer is yes, you are not living out the fullness of Christ in you. In fact, it is very likely that you have allowed sinful tendencies to sneak into your everyday affairs and corrupt what is meant to set you apart. During this new series we will address and work to correct these bad habits that have the potential to leave our faith tainted and unfruitful.
