Richard Murray is a gloriously talented and funny Northern Irish Alt. Country Singer/Songwriter who is a killer Bass Player and Guitarist working many sessions and international contracts. I met him in Abu Dhabi while he was working as a guitar player at the legendary bar, Heroes, with the International Playboys. He released his debut album in 2007 and has been writing, recording and performing solo and with many other artists. Dan Nixon is an awesome fun human - we get vulnerable and talk his less than sparkly week with this off the cuff podcast. He's an incredible guitarist with a great tone and feel so it was great to chat the struggles we're both going through with practice and lockdown.

Josephine Ellul is a singer from the UK who sang at JJs in Bahrain for multiple contracts and booked bands there. She is an incredible frontwoman and has been through a wealth of difficulties from an abusive relationship, to raising a child as a single mum, to now - trying to find a way to bring music back into her life after having to take a break from it. She's running a group called 'Musicians helping Musicians with Josephine Ellul' which is a super supportive community. She's doing this all while doing some online business coursing, raising a child and working doing Microblading. We chat about working as a female in music and in contracts, motivation, adhd, lockdown, and her journey with music. Great conversation - and hopefully the first of many more!

Joe Warner is a salesman, but one of the few I feel is really trying to agent the right way. It's a hard industry and I really enjoy chatting to him and extracting the myriad experiences he has from the management side and working side of the covers music industry. I've worked for Joe as an artist and for the agency (before realising it's hard work and largely thankless). It was sadly a bit rushed due to having limited time but we will definitely do one again!

Sarah Harris is a bubbly, opinionated and fashionable Singer from Nottingham who's lived and worked as a musician in Brighton for 10 years. We talk about her transition from full time work to full time music and her struggles with a vocal cyst. We had a lot of fun talking about how to find your voice within music and her struggles with idolizing other musicians and people and allowing that to dictate her opinion of herself. Hope you enjoy!

Jonny Coote is a multi-instrumentalist keysplayer MD everythinger who also happens to take great bath photos on his tours! He's currently playing for the awesome Dermot Kennedy and has a ridiculous CV of awesome and a fresh collection of mugs from playing the Ellen Show and Stephen Colbert. This is a really great podcast where we just got from start to finish his journey as a musician, with a lil bit of a moan about congestion charge fines, a lil discussion of practice and a lot of his cool career and opinions on surviving it. We did have wine and beer and both had gigs that day! It was lovely getting to know him and his journey and next time I will definitely do more research haha! Abi is an experienced singer - working in function bands from the age of 16! She has a wealth of experience in the industry and has done some really exciting original stuff. Her most recent journey has been writing her new EP Get Deep while battling cancer and winning the war through as she says 'self love' and sheer tenacity and will power! It is such an inspiring talk and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Carly Bryant is not only a spectacular piano player but also a phenomenal writer. I find her songs amazing at story telling and her performances always full of love and care!
