In addition to comics, I also really love board games. In the past 7 years or so I have played so many different games, in large part thanks to CBY contributor and my friend, Dan Nixon. My favorite current game is UnMatched by Restoration Games. Dan and I hold an UnMatched Tournament at my house every January. UnMatched is the "ultimate battle between unlikely fighters" with sets that include legendary characters, literary ones, and some of your favorite Marvel heroes. Now, Jason Taylor, the Visual Restoration Wizard of Restoration Games, joins me and Dan Nixon on the podcast to talk about his role at Restoration Games and to discuss their newest Kickstarter for UnMatched Adventures: TMNT. That's right, it's the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joining the world of UnMatched, with a different artist taking on the task of bringing a different turtle to life. You can sign up here to be notified when the Kickstarter goes live on October 1st: https://restorationgames.com/tmnt-sign-up/. It was great to chat with Jason and I cannot wait for this set and play the co-op game but also see how the Turtles stack up against Sherlock Holmes or Buffy or Daredevil. From the publisher Unmatched Adventures: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the second title in the co-operative Unmatched Adventures series. Play as Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo to take down Shredder or fight off Krang. They'll be joined by a host of TMNT characters. Our episode sponsors unSeen/unHeard: Disability and Neurodivergence Comic Anthology on Kickstarter Don't miss this 64-page, 12 story anthology where at least 50% of each creative team is comprised of people who are neurodivergent or have a disability.
