Kiddush Levana before Marriv and During Shema March 17 2020 Text from Todays Class אִם הַלְּבָנָה זוֹרַחַת בִּתְחִלַּת הַלַּיְלָה קֹדֶם שֶׁהִתְחִילוּ לְהִתְפַּלֵּל מַעֲרִיב, אִם יֵשׁ עוֹד זְמָן אֵיזֶה לֵילוֹת לְקַדְּשָׁהּ, מִתְפַּלְּלִין תְּחִלָּה מַעֲרִיב, וְאַחַר כָּךְ מְקַדְּשִׁין אוֹתָהּ, מִשּׁוּם דְּתָדִיר וְשֶׁאֵינוֹ תָדִיר תָּדִּיר קוֹדֵם, וְעוֹד דִּקְרִיאַת שְׁמַע הֲוֵי דְּאוֹרָיְתָא. אֲבָל אִם אֵין עוֹד זְמָן רַק שְׁנַיִם אוֹ שְׁלשָׁה לֵילוֹת, בִּזְמַן קָצָר כָּזֶה יֵשׁ לָחוּשׁ שֶׁמָּא תִּתְכַּסֶּה בֶּעָבִים. וּבְעֵת הַגְּשָׁמִים, גַּם כְּשֶׁיֵּשׁ עוֹד זְמַן אַרְבָּעָה לֵילוֹת, יֵשׁ לָחוּשׁ לְכִסּוּי עֲנָנִים, וְיֵשׁ לְהַקְדִּים קִדּוּשׁ לְבָנָה. וְאִם נִרְאֲתָה הַלְבָנָה בְּעֵת שֶׁאוֹמְרִים קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע וּבִרְכוֹתֶיהָ, אִם הַזְּמָן מְצֻמְצָם כָּל כָּךְ שֶׁבְּעוֹד שֶׁיִּגְמְרוּ שְׁמֹנֶה עֶשְׂרֵה יַעֲבֹר זְמַן קִדּוּשָׁהּ, יְכוֹלִין לְהַפְסִיק אֲפִלּוּ בְּאֶמְצַע בִּרְכוֹת קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע אוֹ אוֹ בְּאֶמְצַע קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע לְקַדֵּשׁ אוֹתָהּ. אַךְ אִם אֶפְשָׁר, יִגְמְרוּ אֶת הַפֶּרֶק, לְקַדְּשָׁהּ בֵּין הַפְּרָקִים Please note: All final Halachic questions should be addressed to your local Rabbi. The Halachot Concerning the Daily Evening Prayers Dec 05 2019Eating and Activities before Praying Text from Todays Class: וְאַשְׁרֵי לְמִי שֶׁמִּתְפַּלֵּל עַרְבִית בְּצִבּוּר בַּלַּיְלָה, וּבֵין מִנְחָה לְמַעֲרִיב עוֹסֵק בַּתּוֹרָה, לְחַבֵּר הַלַּיְלָה עִם הַיּוֹם בַּתּוֹרָה, שֶׁהוּא עִנְיָן גָּדוֹל. וְעַל כָּל פָּנִים רָאוּי לְכָל יְרֵא שָׁמַיִם, שֶׁאִם הִתְפַּלֵּל בְּצִבּוּר קֹדֶם הַלַּיְלָה, לֹא יֹאכַל קֹדֶם הַלַּיְלָה אֶלָּא יַמְתִּין, וּמִיָּד לְאַחַר צֵאת הַכּוֹכָבִים יִקְרָא שָׁלֹשׁ הַפָּרָשִׁיּוֹת שֶׁל קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע. וּמִי שֶׁאֵינוֹ מִתְפַּלֵּל בְּצִבּוּר, אָסוּר לוֹ לְהִתְפַּלֵּל תְּפִלַּת עַרְבִית קֹדֶם צֵאת הַכּוֹכָבִים. The Text can be read below. זְמַן קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע שֶׁל תְּפִלַּת עַרְבִית הוּא מִשֶּׁנִּרָאִין שְׁלשָׁה כּוֹכָבִים קְטַנִּים, וּבַיּוֹם הַמְעֻנָּן יַמְתִּין עַד שֶׁיֵּצֵא הַסָּפֵק מִלִּבּוֹ. וְעַכְשָׁו נוֹהֲגִין לְהִתְפַּלֵּל בַּצִּבּור מַעֲרִיב תֵּכֶף אַחַר מִנְחָה, אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁעֲדַיִן אֵינוֹ לַיְלָה, מִפְּנֵי טֹרַח הַצִבּוּר, שֶׁהוּא טֹרַח לֶאֱסֹף הַצִּבּוּר שֵׁנִית, וּבִלְבַד שֶׁלֹּא יְהֵא קֹדֶם פְּלַג הַמִּנְחָה, כִּי אָז אֲפִלּוּ בְּדִיעֲבַד אֵינָם יוֹצְאִין.
