This mix is different than my usual house mixes. I'm not so sure how to classify these songs -- some Pop, Future Bass, Indie Electronica, a little bit of Drum 'n' Bass. "The Difference" by Flume & Toro Y Moi (time 33:55) is my favorite song in this mix. Here's my melodic deep house set. It starts off with uplifting feel-good deep house, and then progresses to higher energy progressive house. This episode is going to be a little different than my usual episodes. It's a very chill mix that started out as an old playlist of mine 4 years ago. It was originally made because a friend asked if I had a playlist specifically for when you invite a date over to your place. So I started collecting songs and called it my "Sexytime Playlist," but eventually it just turned into a mix of songs that I thoroughly enjoy. One of my favorite mixes so far. This one begins with chill feel-good Summer vibes and then goes into fun and dancy. I put in Lutrell's song "Contact" again because I wanted you to hear his entire song and not just the vocals like on my previous episode. My favorite song on the mix is "Feel Love" by Feed Me (time 36:00). Feed Me usually puts out harder dubstep stuff, but this song is an ethereal house song that drops into this beautiful groove. I was really into long and slow build-ups for this mix, so it's a little deep house heavy in the beginning. Favorite song of my mix is "Breathe" by CamelPhat & Cristoph (time 11:18). I mixed in the vocals of Luttrell's song "Contact" during the build-up of that song (time 13:07) and it ended up sounding perfect together that it gave me chills hearing it.
