Auf den ersten Blick mag es so erscheinen, als wären die Reformatoren in der Schweiz vor allem Meister der Dekonstruktion gewesen: Unzählige Bilder und Skulpturen wurden zerstört. Abgeschafft wurden die Verehrung der Heiligen, Wallfahrten, Marienfrömmigkeit, Fastentage etc. In den reformierten Kirchen wurde die Frömmigkeit karg und nüchtern. Ja, so Matthias Zeindler: die Reformierten setzten auf eine Spiritualität der Andacht und der Konzentration. Die vermeintliche Leere der Kirchen schaffte Platz für das, worum es eigentlich geht: Die Gemeinschaft mit Christus und das Vertrauen auf Gott, für ein Leben in der Liebe Gottes, das sich in tätiger Hingabe im Alltag der Welt bewährt. Aber brauchen Menschen nicht auch praktische Hilfen, um ihren Glauben mit dem Lebens-Alltag bewusst zu verbinden? Dass die Reformierten an dieser Stelle wenig für notwendig erklärten, macht die Offenheit für individuelle und aktuelle Entwicklungen so typisch reformiert, so Zeindler. Weil es für Reformierte keine heiligen Orte, Zeiten und Praktiken gibt, sind sie frei, je nach Herausforderung Übungen und Wege zu finden, die den Glauben stärken: Immer neue Lieder und Musikstile, das Wort der Bibel in vielfältiger Gestalt, von der Losung am Morgen bis zum Gottesdienst mit seinen Gebeten und Predigten.

Gavin Linde welcomed Peter Jnr. of Luchi's Whiskey Bar to the Rolex Whiskey Passion Project. Peter Jr. detailed the bar's transformation into a specialist for Islay and Jura malt whiskies, a shift that was inspired by an American VIP's observation of the jarring contrast between the luxury whiskey lounge and the public bar's Jäger bomb clientele. This led to the decision to focus on opening rare bottles for drinking. The bar now boasts an inventory of between 1,800 and 1,900 exclusive Islay and Jura bottlings, having removed all non-Islay whiskies to focus on island exclusives, driven by a rising international customer demand over the past 7 to 10 years.

Was hat sich an den Zivilgerichten in den letzten 30 Jahren verändert? Niko Härting und Peter Bert sprechen über notwendige Reformen des Zivilprozesses, aber auch über das Auseinanderklaffen von Prozessrecht und Wirklichkeit, das sich beispielsweise daran zeigt, dass Beweisaufnahmen an vielen Gerichten zur seltenen Ausnahme geworden sind. Plusieurs actions de blocage se déroulent ce lundi 15 décembre dans le sud de la France, en réaction à l'abattage de plus de 200 bovins en Ariège la semaine dernière. Routes coupées et mobilisation témoignent d'un mécontentement croissant dans la profession, alors que la ministre de l'Agriculture est attendue ce lundi après-midi à Toulouse pour aborder la crise et lancer symboliquement une grande campagne sanitaire : la vaccination d'un million de bovins en France.« Bien sûr qu'il y a de l'angoisse, parce que chacun s'imagine que le virus est à la porte de son bâtiment d'élevage. Mais la situation est sous contrôle », a tenté de rassurer Annie Genevard ce matin sur France 2, ajoutant que la « discussion sur la suspension des abattages est ouverte ». « Les éleveurs font des propositions sérieuses et réfléchies. Nous allons écouter, regarder, concerter », a promis la ministre.Après être apparue cet été en Savoie, la dermatose nodulaire touche désormais l'Aude, où un premier cas a été détecté ce lundi, après avoir affecté la Haute-Garonne, la Savoie, l'Ain, le Jura, les Pyrénées et l'Ariège. Une maladie qui inquiète et divise le monde agricole. Car si la FNSEA appelle au calme et défend la stratégie gouvernementale, des éleveurs s'opposent à l'abattage systématique des troupeaux touchés et dénoncent le lancement bien trop tardif d'une campagne de vaccination. D'autres pointent l'inaction de l'État face à cette maladie et appellent à un contrôle accru des mouvements d'animaux.La ministre défend de son côté sa stratégie, affirmant s'appuyer sur « ce que la science nous dit, ce que les vétérinaires nous disent, ce que les pays étrangers ont appliqué ». « Il y a trois piliers : le dépeuplement (c'est-à-dire l'abattage, ndlr), la vaccination et la restriction des mouvements », a-t-elle énuméré, ajoutant que « cette stratégie a fonctionné en Savoie, en Haute-Savoie, dans le Jura, en Italie, en Espagne ». « Il faut que chacun ait conscience que l'ennemi, c'est le virus. D'abord, il faut respecter les consignes. L'image de l'écrivain lent, perfectionniste, travaillant patiemment son manuscrit, ne correspond pas du tout à la réalité. La vérité, c'est qu'Orwell s'est lancé dans une course contre la montre. Une course littérale : il sait qu'il est en train de mourir.Depuis plusieurs années, Orwell souffre de tuberculose, une maladie alors difficile à soigner. À l'époque, il se retire sur l'île écossaise de Jura, un lieu isolé, froid, humide… exactement le contraire de ce qu'un médecin recommanderait. Mais il s'y sent libre, protégé du monde qu'il fuit : celui des totalitarismes, des manipulations politiques, des propagandes qui défigurent les mots et les idées. Là-bas, enfermé dans une petite maison rudimentaire, il écrit dans une urgence fébrile.Pourquoi cette précipitation ?D'abord parce qu'il craint que sa santé l'abandonne avant qu'il ne parvienne au bout de son roman. Die SP hat neu mit drei von fünf Sitzen die Mehrheit in der Kantonsregierung im Jura. Raphaël Ciocchi und Valentin Zuber haben zusammen mit der Bisherigen Rosalie Beuret Siess beim zweiten Wahlgang für den Linksrutsch gesorgt. Weitere Themen: An der Jugendsession im Bundeshaus treffen sich jedes Jahr 200 Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene um ihre Anliegen zu diskutieren und politische Forderungen zu formulieren. Nach vier intensiven Tagen mit Workshops und Gespächen übergeben sie ihre ausformulierten Vorstösse am Sonntag Aben an Nationalratspräsidentin Maja Riniker. Medikamente und Therapien wirken bei Frauen und Männern oft unterschiedlich. Solche geschlechterspezifischen Unterschiede sichtbar machen, das will die Gendermedizin. Lange galt diese als Nischenthema, doch nun interessieren sich plötzlich weite Kreise dafür.

Une vététiste est une personne qui pratique le VTT, le vélo tout terrain. Si c'est une sportive de haut niveau, cela signifie qu'elle pratique un certain nombre d'heures par semaine et que sa pratique lui permet de participer aux championnats de France ou du monde.  C'est le cas de Lilou Lacroix que nous avons rencontré pendant nos vacances dans le Jura.  Lilou va nous parler des qualités nécessaires pour pratiquer ce sport, mais aussi des avantages de le pratiquer dans le Jura.  Finalement, on pourrait faire un parallèle entre cette pratique sportive et la pratique d'une langue étrangère. Für die Schweizer Luchse hingegen häufen sich die Alarmzeichen: Eine neu entdeckte Erbkrankheit zeigt die Folgen von Inzucht und des fehlenden Gen-Austauschs. Freya auf Reisen Die Sendung begleitet das junge Luchsweibchen Freya vom Wildnispark Zürich in Langnau bis zur Auswilderung in den Wäldern Ostdeutschlands. Dort soll sie helfen, eine stabile Population aufzubauen. Freyas Reise führt zuerst in ein spezielles Gehege in Thüringen, wo sie mehrere Monate auf die Freiheit vorbereitet wird, bevor sie ausgewildert wird. Warum die Schweiz Luchse exportiert und selbst Probleme hat Während Freya in Deutschland mithilft, die junge Luchspopulation zu stärken, kämpft die Schweiz mit den Folgen der eigenen Pionierarbeit. Vor über fünfzig Jahren wurden hier die ersten Tiere ausgewildert – eine Erfolgsgeschichte, die den Luchs zurück in die Alpen und den Jura brachte. Heute leben rund 340 erwachsene Luchse in der Schweiz, die grösste Population Westeuropas. Doch die Erfolgsgeschichte hat einen Schatten: Alle Tiere stammen von wenigen Individuen ab. Die genetische Vielfalt ist gering, und das hat Folgen. Alarmierende Befunde «Einstein» zeigt, wie Forschende den Gesundheitszustand der Schweizer Luchse untersuchen. Im Institut für Fisch- und Wildtiergesundheit in Bern werden tot aufgefundene Tiere analysiert. Dabei stiessen die Fachleute auf ein Rätsel: Immer wieder starben junge Luchse ohne erkennbare Ursache. Die Spur führt zu einer genetischen Erkrankung – erstmals wissenschaftlich nachgewiesen. Betroffen ist ausgerechnet die jüngste Population in der Nordostschweiz. Mehr Austausch und frisches Blut Generell häufen sich zudem seit längerem auch Herzfehler. Fachleute warnen: Ohne frisches Erbgut könnten die Schweizer Luchse immer kränker werden und der Bestand langfristig schrumpfen. Ein Problem: Die isolierten Populationen im Jura, in den Alpen und der Nordwestschweiz tauschen kaum Gene aus. Einerseits soll nun dieser Austausch unter den Gebieten gefördert werden, andererseits fordern Fachleute auch die Aussiedlung neuer Luchse aus dem Ausland. Doch die Umsetzung ist komplex: Sie erfordert internationale Kooperation, rechtliche Abklärungen und die Akzeptanz der Bevölkerung.

Elle a donné son nom à la période du "jurassique", les paysages magnifiques y sont pour quelque chose aussi, c'est sûr, comme à La Frasnée ou sur la voie PLM. Mais aussi les personnes que nous y rencontrons : Marie et Anne du centre équestre Jura Sud, Laurence et Lilou à la crêperie Crêpes et Gourmandises à Pont-de-Poitte. An old hag churns the waters near two islands off the western coast of Scotland. The churning creates the third-largest whirlpool in the oceans—the Gulf of Corryvreckan, or Brecan's cauldron. Scottish folklore says the Old Hag was the goddess of winter. She stirs the water while washing her plaids. When scientists discovered that a pillar of rock on the ocean floor helps do the churning, they called it “the Old Hag.” The maelstrom fires up as tidal currents flow between the islands of Jura and Scarba. The strait is narrow and deep, so it acts like a funnel. The currents get faster—sometimes reaching As the flow exits the strait, it encounters a large, deep hole, followed by the pillar. Water flows up the side of the pillar, forming whirlpools and other features. When the flow is especially strong, waves can reach heights of 30 feet, and the cauldron's roar can be heard 10 miles away. The waters are considered some of the most dangerous in Britain. Legend says that King Brechan of Norway tried to prove his bravery to a princess by anchoring in the maelstrom. But when his anchors gave way, he drowned. And in 1947, author George Orwell narrowly avoided the same fate. He was traveling across the cauldron with his son, niece, and nephew when his boat's motor was damaged. They rowed to a rocky outcrop, where the boat capsized and sank. Orwell and party were rescued by a fishing boat—escaping the watery clutches of the Old Hag. Le 11 janvier 1993, dans l'incendie de la maison du Dr ROMAND, à Prévessin dans l'Ain, on vient de découvrir sa femme et ses deux enfants, morts. Le Dr, est le seul survivant. Il est emmené entre la vie et la mort, à l'hôpital de Genève. On veut alors prévenir ses parents dans le Jura, et on découvre avec stupeur, que ses parents aussi, sont morts.
