    This show will feature an interview with Derek Evan, from Budd Lake, NJ. We will also be playing a few of Derek's recent recordings-which will knock your socks off!! You will not want to miss this show. Derek is one of the most unique singers in the oldies and doo-wop business, and has many years of experience as a singer, recording artist, and live performer. Derek was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1976 and now lives in northern New Jersey. In addition to his work with The GoldTones, Derek has also worked with various other music groups over the years. He was formerly the lead singer of the doo-wop group 'Still Around', and also a former member of the oldies band 'Jukebox Memories'. He has performed at many concerts, shows, restaurants, and private events throughout the eastern United States, and has appeared on various radio and television programs. Derek has also performed at varios doo-wop and oldies concerts which starred legendary doo-wop recording artists including The Vocaleers, The Continentals, The Dubs, Nicky Addeo & The Night Owls, Della Griffin & The Enchanters, and The Del Vikings. He plans to continue his efforts to help keep doo-wop and rock'n'roll oldies alive, and to help introduce the oldies to new generations of listeners! Be sure to call in and say hello to Derek.

Mr Lee, President of the Philadelphia Group Harmony Association (PGHA), will be the concert Emcee. In this addition of Doo Wopp Today Mr Lee will interview Peter Milazzo, lead singer for The Encounters.
