The other host who joined me for the chat with Jordan made a complete trainwreck of the interview despite having had Jordan as a guest on his show many times before. A friendship of sorts developed at that time.We had discussed an odd trend in The So-Called Alternative Media where Jordan had become an alleged antisemite after decades of influencing and literally offering the foundations of what became many underground and fringe media groups and productions. His friendship with Manly P. Hall and every major figure among alternative authors and presenters is in one way or another part of the story behind the rise of David Icke, The Ancient Aliens History Channel Era, and The Phenomenon of The Zeitgeist Series of Documentaries. P.S. Jordan hated no one.Somehow after being a central figure in the entire media sphere of what was Alternative, Underground, Alternate History, Independent Documentaries, etc., Jordan was quickly becoming a pariah after courts ruled his trade mark name (Which was a nom de plume) no longer belonged to him, and people who he had welcomed into his life stole materials and his personal research to reap the benefits of publishing works that they originally befriended Jordan to learn about.Frankly broke, and somewhat broken by betrayal, he found himself outcast in the community that owed it's existence to him, and Nearly no one with his interests in mind would work with him as he was seen as a finished man who had become the thief and hater of Jewish people that some of the immoral and unethical critics themselves actually were. Jordan became my friend at this time, and for 7 years I was blessed to learn from him and help him as best I could to have his dignity restored and his rightful place as the intellectual influence he was recognized with the intent intact that he devoted half a century of his life to educating and waking people from their nearly sleeping state of ignorance about the grandest deceptions that the overall establishment prefers to a fully conscious and engaged human family. Send us a textJoin Chuck and John this week as they go back to an episode from May 27, 2021 about the case that redefined what sexual harassment can look like in the workplace. ---In this episode, our hosts John and Chuck tell the behind the scenes story of Mechelle Vinson....a 19 year old Bank Teller and how she was coerced into having a sexual relationship with her boss in order to save her job.In May of 1975, Mr. Sidney Taylor, Branch Manager at a local bank takes his employee, Bank Teller Mechelle Vinson, out to dinner at a Chinese Restaurant after work. Years later, Michelle  recollected the story of the Chinese restaurant dinner with the Washington Post…in her own words…she said… ‘I don't want to go to bed with you,' And he says, ‘Just like I hired you, I'll fire you. Just like I made you, I'll break you, and if you don't do what I say then I'll have you killed.' … And that's how it started.”As we continue our HR Stories of Court Cases and Laws that made HR today we look at the very first case that eventually reaching the U.S. Supreme Court on June 19, 1986, Meritor Savings Bank v. Vinson. It was the first of its kind to redefine sexual harassment in the workplace. It established the standards for analyzing whether conduct was unlawful and when an employer would be liable.The court, ruled unanimously (9–0) that sexual harassment that results in a hostile work environment is a violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bans sex discrimination by employers. Aiello - the ORIGINAL pregnancy Supreme Court case. Sylvia Aiello, was a pregnant woman who sought disability benefits under the California State Disability Insurance program. However, the program excluded coverage for pregnancy-related disabilities. Aiello argued that this exclusion violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. The state, represented by Michael N. Geduldig, defended the exclusion, stating that pregnancy was not a "disability" covered under the program and that the program treated men and women equally. Rob Madge grew up staging living room musicals with wigs, smoke machines, and the unwavering support of their parents and grandmother—but what started as childhood play eventually became the viral, heartfelt, and Olivier-nominated solo show My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?). In this episode, Rob shares how those home videos evolved into a theatrical sensation, and how a show born during lockdown has become a powerful celebration of queer joy, family, and radical acceptance—now heading to New York City Center for its limited U.S. debut. We talk about everything from queer theory and comedy as activism to being a theater kid in a small UK village and why their grandmother was the ultimate co-conspirator. Rob opens up about the emotional weight of visibility, the importance of letting kids be themselves, and the unshakable confidence that comes from being loved early and completely. Plus, they reflect on their journey from Gavroche to leading their own story—and the joy of tweaking the show for each new audience. Rob Madge is a writer and performer whose solo show My Son's a Queer (But What Can You Do?) earned an Olivier Award nomination following its West End run. They began their career as a child actor in Mary Poppins, Oliver!, and Les Misérables, and trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School before studying English Literature at Warwick University. Rob also stars as the Emcee in Cabaret on the West End, and continues to explore themes of identity, family, and theatricality through their writing and performance.
