Katelyn Smith and Paige Davoren are studying broadcast journalism with a sports concentration at the University of South Carolina. They are only at the beginning of their careers but have already faced gender discrimination in the sports industry. The EmpowHER the Game Podcast was created to emphasize the importance of empowering women in sports. The goal of this podcast is to motivate and inspire females who are currently in or looking to break into the industry.
