This episode is especially close to my heart—meet my Grandma, lovingly nicknamed “Bocca” when we were just toddlers. At 90 years young, she's still sharper than a tack! You could say my love for TV hosting runs in the family. My grandparents hosted a Christian television show called Heartbeat for over 30 years, interviewing remarkable figures like Mother Teresa and how Joel Osteen's father, John, got his start. Their missionary work truly spanned the globe. For this episode, I traveled to North Carolina, where their former television station has now been transformed into a beautiful home and family retreat... I have lots of videos to show you! And of course, no visit with Grandma is complete without stories—like the time I accidentally convinced her to buy me alcohol when I was 13. Oh, the memories! ______________________________ Follow me on my Instagram or Facebook Podcast Facebook page here Check out KristiCapel.com Email: Kristicapelpodcast@gmail.com
Send us a text“My family and my career are both growing, and I'm having trouble balancing the two.” “Am I messing up my kid's life by working too much?” “How can I regain time with my family, despite the amount of time I need to spend working?” — Work-life balance. A true struggle, especially when you've recently become a parent, and you need to reassess your priorities. You're not alone in your struggles; in fact, today Sophia Mills speaks with Evan Sophir on this very topic. Evan is a top-rated Florida Realtor and TV Host, but also a husband and, more recently, a father. In addition to all this, he is committed to advocating for foster youth and vulnerable children. When his family began to grow, he had to look at all the things going on in his life, and figure out which were most important to him. He shares with us meaningful moments that taught him important lessons about this careful balance, tells us why advocacy has become such an integral part of his work, and leaves us with some extremely valuable tips for creating a balance that works perfectly for you. Whether you're a foster parent, caregiver, young parent, or just need help balancing your work and life, this episode is perfect for you. Just remember, it isn't always perfection that counts; often taking the first step is most crucial.

On this episode of Talking Away The Taboo, Bianca Jade joins Aimee Baron, MD to talk about... - surrendering to uncertainty and what it means to take control - egg freezing in her late 30s - experiencing two miscarriages - connecting to spirituality - the complexity of waiting for results - encountering grief and loss More about Bianca Jade: Bianca Jade is a leading beauty, fitness and integrative lifestyle influencer, TV Host and wellness personality. She's known for her personal blog Mizzfit.com, where wellness meets style. As a Latin-American entrepreneur and TV/internet personality, Bianca shares her life experiences navigating the health & wellness world with audiences across the nation and amongst her half a million follows on social media. Bianca has appeared on outlets such as Today Show, CBS Morning News, Dr. Oz, Banfield, and regional affiliates across the country. Bianca is also a beauty expert and educator, and lifestyle guest host on HSN. She shares her health & beauty tips with publications like New Beauty magazine as a contributor (in both English and Spanish) and travels the world featuring wellness destinations for healthy travelers. In 2018, Bianca had the foresight to do an egg retrieval and shared her experience online. “My Egg Freezing Story” quickly went viral on Youtube, inspiring fertility awareness online and in the media. At 45, Bianca officially started her IVF journey and uses her social platforms to advocate for fertility education, wellness and community. Her latest exciting venture is “Primed for Pregnancy” Retreat which provides women with all the resources, information, and coaching needed to navigate their own fertility journey with confidence. Bianca is currently working on her first book about Fertility Wellness and Mental Health. "I started IVF when I was 38 years old by freezing my eggs at the suggestion of my therapist, who I'm eternally grateful to. Never knew if I would actually get married or have a family but just didn't want to live with any regrets. At 44 I got married, and a few months before our wedding we visited my IVF doctor to just check-in and tell him that we wanted to fertilize soon. I remember him telling me to "hurry up" and even "to do it before the wedding" but I just felt like I had a lot of time on my hands...which kind of makes me laugh now. Less than 2 months after our wedding, I was pregnant naturally. And less than 2 months later, I had miscarried. Here I was going through the real deal fertility journey and learning that "yes, I was part of a statistic now". For a year I couldn't conceive and then this past Feb, I got pregnant! We surprised my parents at a fancy dinner with the news, only to find out 2 weeks later that we lost the baby again. This is where I stop typing and take a long breadth because all I know is that this journey is not easy for everyone including myself but I refuse to give up until it's time to make a shift. I have 2 embryos left and I'm well aware that I'm at the end of my opportunity of having biological children. I have made peace with that. What I've learned is the most important thing to me is to be a mother. The person I was before I started this journey is not who I am today, 2 losses later. I'm a very strong woman who is here to put it all on the table and help other women not make the same mistakes I did. Thank you for inviting me on your podcast! xo" Connect with Bianca Jade: - Follow her on Instagram - Check out the Primed for Pregnancy retreat Connect with us: -Check out our Website -Follow us on Instagram and send us a message -Watch our TikToks -Follow us on Facebook -Watch us on YouTube -Connect with us on LinkedIn

#366 In this episode, the host welcomes Peter Panagore for the third time on the podcast to delve into deep discussions on spirituality, mysticism, and the challenges of modern life. The conversation kicks off with Peter's insights on the suppression of internal salvation within Western religious frameworks, advocating for spiritual awakening from within rather than relying on external saviors. They discuss key themes such as the light breaking through worldly illusions, the mystical experiences Peter had during his near-death experience, and the importance of the heart in spiritual practice. Peter shares his extensive knowledge on ancient texts like the Gospels of Mary and Thomas, highlighting their significance in understanding Christ's teachings on oneness. They also explore the potential impact of AI and societal shifts on spirituality, emphasizing the role of love and compassion in shaping a benevolent future. The episode encourages listeners to embrace mystical experiences and integrate spiritual practices into their daily lives, fostering a sense of unity and compassion. About Peter: Reverend Peter Panagore, M. Div., Yale, is the author of two best-sellers, “Two Minutes for God,” a 7/365 collection of inspirational devotions that aired daily for fifteen years on two NBC News stations in Maine and New Hampshire, and ‘Heaven Is Beautiful: How Dying Taught Me That Death Is Just the Beginning”, an audible best seller that is available globally. His upcoming third book tells true tales of modern mystics in the classical tradition, in the high hopes that he can inspire more people to come out and share their own mystical experiences. – He previously served as a United Church of Christ minister and pastor in Maine and Connecticut. He now speaks from pulpits, stages, and on national and international media about Near Death Experience, the Reality of God, Christian mysticism, meditation, and prayer. – Reverend Peter Panagore, M.Div (Yale) has had two near-death experiences, the first while ice climbing in 1980 and the second in 2015 due to a heart attack. In this episode, he recalls his near death experience in March 1980 when he went ice climbing along the Ice Fields Parkway in Alberta Canada with an experienced ice climber. He shares their countless misfortunes on their descent, how he was overcome by exhaustion and hypothermia. He recalls being in a proverbial tunnel and in those minutes, he has experience hell, forgiveness, and unconditional love. He also has encountered God. — How do you feel when you hear the word “psychic”? Spine-chilling goose-bumps or a thrilling allure? A burning desire to discover more or an impulse to run? Fascination or fear? We all have intuition, perhaps even psychic ability. So why don't we use it? Fear of the unknown, fear of losing control, fear of meeting our dark side or the fear instilled in humankind during the Spanish Inquisition that still sits in our cellular memory and hold power over out otherwise unlimited minds? Natasha Rosewood brings the word “psychic” out of the witch's closet and into the light of the New Age. “Now, more than ever in out history, the planet needs all of us to acknowledge our power by paying attention to our inner voices. But first we need to embrace and trust our intuition.” Valeria interviews Natasha J. Rosewood — She is the Author, Quantum Healer, Intuitive Coach, TV Host, Spirit Medium, Past Life Regressionist and GhostBuster. A long time ago, in a far away land—England—Natasha Rosewood worked as a flight attendant, during which time her life also took off into the metaphysical world of palmistry and other divine knowledge.
