In each episode, Ryan effortlessly showcases her true self, exuding confidence and boldness that is truly admirable. It's evident that she doesn't hold back in expressing her thoughts and opinions, creating an authentic and relatable experience for the listener. There is something about her delivery that captivates the audience, making them feel comfortable and connected. Listening to Ryan speak feels like having a conversation with a close friend, which is why this podcast has quickly become one of my favorites.

One of the best aspects of The Getting Straight To It podcast is Ryan's personality. It shines through every episode and leaves a lasting impact on the listener. Her charisma and charm make each topic engaging and enjoyable to listen to. Whether she's discussing relationships, personal growth, or pop culture, Ryan always brings a unique perspective to the table. Her ability to convey complex ideas in a simple yet effective manner is commendable. Additionally, her episodes often feature guest speakers who further contribute to the dynamic discussions, adding depth and diversity to the podcast.

While The Getting Straight To It podcast has many fantastic qualities, there may be some minor drawbacks worth mentioning. Occasionally, Ryan's enthusiasm can overshadow certain topics or guests. While her energy is undoubtedly infectious and entertaining most of the time, there are instances where it may overpower the content being discussed. It would be beneficial for her to strike a balance between being herself and allowing others' voices to be heard fully.

    Break The Silence⛓️‍

To bring in Sexual Assault Awareness month, I've finally decided that I am ready to tell my story. For years, I've kept myself stagnant in the energy of being perceived as anything else but a survivor and I see now how that has affected me mentally. But no more.In this episode I unpack some of my sexual trauma in hopes I can give the next person the strength to speak up on theirs. I can count on one hand how many times I've been sexually assaulted and it's ever. Single. Finger. I didn't report or even speak on most of them because I was influenced by stigmas and rape culture but I free myself of that now. I break this cycle of silence for myself. For my little brother. For my family. For my community. For you. If you can't stand with me in the forefront, spread what you learn to someone you love. Take care

In this episode I elaborate on how having real and vulnerable conversations with your elders can really benefit your life, especially as black people. Too often we are told that our emotions are what handicaps us when in reality, they are what makes us stronger and more united. You can't get to the root of who you are or why you are, until you talk to your caregivers that brought you up about the traumas they may have unintentionally caused, and even learn of theirs. This episode is about owning your shit and breaking generational cycles so that you may enter into a healthier, happier, and more understanding, YOU. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

In this episode I get into the importance of actively showing up for yourself, depending on your ability first so that you can then have loving relationships with others. I find too often that people are using others to fill a void within themselves that only THEY can heal. Nobody is Bob the builder, they cannot FIX IT! That is nobody's job but your own so make it an active priority to do that for YOURSELF so that you can live peacefully, with or without someone. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

In this episode, we speak on how men are hornier than women yet women are freakier than men. We came to this conclusion over the simple fact that men are just not as comfortable with their sexuality as they may make it seem. Men think EVERYTHING IS GAY so with that, they are holding themselves back from greatness. Here we dig deep into why that is based on one's upbringing and influences and give friendly advice on how you can open up more. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
