[DONATE WITH PAYPAL] Building on his episode about Michelangelo's Creation of Adam (#385, "God's Finger"), Greg shifts focus to the nearby Deluge panel on the Sistine Chapel ceiling, where Noah's Ark resembles a Roman basilica, symbolizing the Church as salvation in a perishing world. Contrasting modern views of the Church as a social club or cultural mirror, he unpacks biblical typology from Genesis to Peter's boat miracles and Jonah's fish. This episode emphasizes the Catholic Church as the ark of eternal life, inviting seekers to embrace its saving role. Donate with PayPal!

"What's the last thing you stuck your finger in?"That's the question that launched a thousand laughs in this absolutely unhinged and unforgettable segment of The Ben and Skin Show. Join Ben Rogers, Jeff “Skin” Wade, Kevin “KT” Turner, and Krystina Ray as they fire up the Wayback Machine and take you on a hilarious, nostalgic, and occasionally jaw-dropping journey through the headlines and pop culture moments from exactly 10 years ago. From a Family Feud moment that had cable news clutching their pearls, to the bizarre internet rumor that a bear raped Leonardo DiCaprio in The Revenant, this episode is packed with outrageous stories, sharp commentary, and gut-busting one-liners.
So our journey this episode takes us to a recital, where Amos and Edda get a less than glowing review from a critic. They are SO BAD at taking any amount of criticism that they go onstage the next night to flip the critic off. Oh wait! Yeah. In this world, Amos and Edda have a multi-night engagement AND the critic comes to EVERY performance AND writes about every performance. Just like in real life! So Amos flips off the audience (as a way of showing the audience that he disapproves of the critic's take) and Edda joins him. Then there's a reaction to THAT reaction, which also rubs Amos and Edda the wrong way. Because why wouldn't they be anything but, as they admit, childish, vindictive and ridiculous? There's a brief Sunday strip sidebar about how a bunch of scientists ask Amos to ask Edda how she keeps her boobs in her dress. I wish we were kidding about this, but no, this is REALLY what the Sunday strip is about. Then we return to the critic storyline where the critic shows up for a THIRD STRAIGHT performance to explain himself to Edda. She takes it well, and by that I mean she threatens to make him strip naked and dance in front of the audience. But only for the first 100 attendees. Yeah. It made zero sense to us either. Is it moral to pray for RFK JR. to die from a disease after refusing to get the vaccine that could have saved him? You have questions, I have answers. If sex for fun is a sin what will Heaven look like? I have an audio answer. If the internet told you you can fix your own lawn mower and you lost two fingers and a toe can you sue? If you give someone the finger in traffic before they can even beep at you have you cloaked yourself in a shield of invulnerability which precludes your being guilty of anything? Has Donald trump ruined golf? I describe the worst ever behavior I have seen on a golf course and a listener wonders why he was called a Libtard by a group playing ahead of him. And I once again extend the musical hand of friendship across our political and cultural divide with my new modern country song "Oh, Brother Why?" It could be a hit or at least work in a truck commercial. Could I have a new career as a country artist? You decide. Subscribe and THRIVE!!!!!!!!!
Atlanta Journal Constitution op/ed columnist Bill Torpy penned a piece in early September finger-wagging at progressives over word choice and his perceiving them to be 'haughty and arrogant,' owing to their 'moral superiority' as a reason the Democratic Party is losing elections and the voter registration game, lately. He cited the recently resigned CDC official Dr. Demetre Daskalakis' resignation letter and his use of the term "pregnant people" as an example. Third Way had a longer list, incidentally; a list I questioned. I don't dismiss what Torpy or Third Way is saying, in their entirety, but I find it a touch rich with irony that both take their own 'haughty & arrogant' or 'morally superior' high horse to call out the progressive wing of the party while ignoring the party - controlled by the establishment more to the center - being awful at messaging and in being as welcoming to progressive voters as they seem to be to "never Trump" Republicans.

The new wave of outrage from lawmakers over Jeffrey Epstein is less a moral awakening than a stage play. For years, these same politicians happily accepted his money, attended his events, and ignored survivors' pleas. Now, with the cameras rolling, they've reinvented themselves as crusaders for justice. Their speeches are choreographed performances — complete with dramatic pauses and crocodile tears — designed to look like courage but reeking of political survival. Survivors don't need applause lines or hashtags; they needed action years ago, when it might have made a difference. What we're really watching is hypocrisy in motion. The very people who enabled Epstein's influence machine now use outrage as a costume to launder their reputations. They hope the public will forget the donations, the fundraisers, and the Rolodex connections, but the record doesn't disappear just because they suddenly discovered empathy. This isn't justice, it's theater — and if they believe they can posture without being called out, they've underestimated how much the audience has been paying attention.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com
