Welcome back! This was the first time I've had an opportunity to film recently! By that, I mean the first time it wasn't below freezing in the last four days, haha. It's kind of wild, because my household hasn't really left the house because of illness and weather for a little over a month except for a road trip. Anyway, I truly hope you all enjoy these leather hand sounds that were requested! Many blessings and the sweetest of dreams!

The Edmonton Oilers made history with back-to-back hat tricks by defencemen; Bouchard and then Ekholm, the former now sits among the league’s top-scoring blueliners, after a typically slow start to the season. In Toronto, William Nylander was fined $5,000 for an ill-advised gesture toward a TV camera, a minor distraction but not enough to hide the Leafs’ returning inconsistency, raising questions about whether Brad Treliving needs to make a move with the Olympic break looming. Buffalo continues its surprising surge behind the league’s hottest goalie, Alex Lyon, forcing tough decisions on players like Alex Tuch as playoff hopes feel real for the first time in years. Winnipeg’s playoff fight hit another low after a 5–1 loss to Detroit, prompting a harsh postgame from Scott Arniel and renewed debate about whether the Jets should re-tool on the fly. Meanwhile, Vancouver’s injury woes deepen with Brock Boeser and Zeev Buium sidelined, in addition to growing concern that Thatcher Demko may be shut down to ensure he’s fully healthy for next season.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The middle finger often gets a bad rap in our culture, and for good reason. It's used to express anger, disrespect, and even hate. But what if we could redeem it? In this episode of "The Five Finger Gospel," we take what's often seen as negative and reframe it as a powerful symbol of love: our tallest finger reminds us of the tall, tall cross where Jesus died for us. What looked like a moment of defeat became the foundation of our hope.Romans 5:8 declares, “While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Jesus didn't wait for us to be good enough—He took our place, paid our debt, and made a way. This conversation equips parents and mentors to talk honestly and gently with kids about sin, death, forgiveness, and eternal life without shame or fear.Host Tosha Williams shares personal stories of spiritual awareness in young children—including a toddler's surprising understanding of death—and offers gospel-centered conversation guides for everyday discipleship moments: around the table, during car rides, or at bedtime.Whether you're just beginning or ready to grow deeper, this episode gives you a hand full of truths about the Gospel. A tiny voice in the back seat of a car asks for prayer, and a lifelong journey with Jesus begins. Host Tosha Williams opens with a vivid childhood memory to show how clearly a child can grasp the gospel—and how a simple tool, "The Five Finger Gospel," can help anyone understand and respond to Jesus. Each finger holds a truth you can carry anywhere: Jesus sees you, Jesus loves you, Jesus died for you, Jesus knows you, and Jesus chose you. It's tactile, memorable, and grounded in Scripture, making it ideal for parents, mentors, and ministry leaders who want to share the good news with clarity and warmth. In this final episode in this collection of conversations, we revisit the tender honesty of small sins and big grace, then turn to the thumb as a picture of salvation: God's thumbs up to us and our thumbs up back to Him. With Jeremiah 1:5 and John 1:12 as anchors, we make the invitation plain without pressure—He has already said yes to you; will you say yes to Him? You'll hear how a preschool decision matured into decades of discipleship and how the same truths can spark conversations at the dinner table, in the car, or at a hospital bedside. Along the way, we highlight the shift from Seek Him to Speak Him, echoing Titus 1:1: helping God's chosen people believe in Christ more and more.If you're guiding a child, mentoring a teen, or reexamining your own faith, this conversation gives you language, confidence, and next steps. Try the hand motions, ask the heart-questions, and encourage simple, sincere prayer in a person's own words. Then take the next faithful step into devotion-driven discipleship, where meeting with God overflows into making Him known. If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs hope today, and leave a review to help others find "The Five Finger Gospel." In this episode, we explore the pointer-finger truth of "The Five Finger Gospel": Jesus knows you. As we point to those entrusted to us, we are personally reminded of how being known by the Good Shepherd changes how we parent, mentor, and lead the next generation. From childhood memories of church members who remembered her name, to the warm, earthy picture of a pastor-farmer who greets a newborn calf with joy, host Tosha Williams traces the thread of John 10 and Psalm 139 through real life.In this episode, we walk through a quick recap of "The Five Finger Gospel" and then camp on the fourth truth: the Good Shepherd knows His sheep and calls them by name. That means kids don't have to earn God's attention, impress Him with perfect behavior, or hide when they fail. It means we're invited into a relationship where we hear His voice, respond in trust, and follow with confidence. Along the way, we make it practical with a simple habit you can try today: hold up your left hand, point your finger, and say out loud, “Jesus knows you.” Pair it with a short reading of John 10:14 - “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me” or Psalm 139, and let that small moment carry big weight. We also encourage the devotion-driven discipleship framework. Seek Him leads to Speak Him, keeping our hearts grounded in truth as we guide our kids toward Jesus. When we let God's knowledge of us soak in, we stop performing and start abiding. When we speak that truth to a child, we offer a pathway to courage, honesty, and hope. Ready to share your faith using the simple tool that goes with you everywhere you go? Let "The Five Finger Gospel" be part of a meaningful, intentional conversation in your life today! A crowded church gym, a sea of bright eyes, and a whisper that changed everything. That's where "The Five Finger Gospel" began—not as a program, but as a moment of clarity: we are called to lead. When you raise your left hand and notice the simple L made by your thumb and pointer finger, you're holding a mission statement you can carry anywhere. We walk through the heart behind this tool, why simplicity honors the depth of the gospel, and how Psalm 78:4 charges us to tell the next generation about God's power and the wonders he has done.Host Tosha Williams shares why making profound truths simple enough for a child is not dumbing down faith; it's opening the door. With this practical framework, you'll hear how each finger becomes a step in the story of salvation—clear, memorable, and ready for real life. This conversation speaks to parents, grandparents, teachers, youth leaders, and any follower of Jesus who wants a portable, pressure-free way to begin. You'll find language that fits little hearts, space for questions, and a warm invitation to keep the focus on Jesus. Then we get specific: who are your five? Naming five kids in your world turns intention into action and builds a ripple that can reach far beyond your home or church. We close with a commitment to lead, to welcome, and to speak the truth we will not hide. If you're ready to wave a welcome to the next generation and walk with them toward Christ, raise your left hand and join us. Subscribe, share this episode with a friend who leads kids, and leave a review to help more families find these conversations. Will you lead them with us?The devotion-driven discipleship guide that goes along with this podcast episode will be available on our soon-to-be-released FDM app! Start with a small motion that reminds us of a big truth: wiggle your ring finger. In the world, this finger reminds us of committed human love, and in "The Five Finger Gospel", this finger reminds us of Jesus' love. The truth of the ring finger is "Jesus Loves You!" With this, we continue in this series of conversations by centering the ring finger and building from Scripture that God's love for us is lavish, personal, and eternal. Host Tosha Williams shares how, when she was a little girl, adults repeated this truth to her, helping her understand Jesus' love from a very young age. She calls parents, grandparents, family members and Christians of all ages to do the same for those entrusted to them. We open 1 John 3:1 to see what great love the Father has lavished on us, naming us His children. Then we anchor our security in Romans 8:39, which promises that nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. From there, Ephesians 3:18–19 stretches our imagination for how wide and long and high and deep Christ's love really is. This isn't abstract theology; it's a daily lifeline for parents, mentors, and leaders who want to ground kids in something stronger than moods, grades, or social feeds. You'll hear practical ways to make love memorable at every age: a hand cue that becomes family shorthand, short verses for little hearts, honest talks for teens, and simple blessings that speak value by name. We model Seek Him Speak Him as a rhythm—first receiving God's love for ourselves, then sharing it with those entrusted to us. If you've felt weary, unseen, or unsure how to start faith talks at home, this conversation gives you language, Scripture, and a next step you can try today. If this encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs a reminder of God's nearness, and leave a quick review to help others find these conversations. Then pick someone you love, lift your left hand, wiggle that ring finger, and tell them the truest thing you can say: Jesus loves you.The devotion-driven discipleship guide that goes along with this episode may be found on the soon-to-be-released Family Disciple Me app!!! A tiny pinky can carry a giant truth: Jesus sees you. We kick off our "Five Finger Gospel" conversations by anchoring a child's faith—and our own—by starting with the smallest finger to remember that no one is too small or too little to be significant to God. We wiggle our pinky finger to remind us: "Jesus Sees Me!"Host Tosha Williams shares a tender childhood memory of an elderly man with a weekly pack of chocolate-covered raisins and how that small act taught her the dignity of being noticed. From there, we open Matthew 19:14—echoed in Mark 10 and Luke 18—to show how Jesus rebuked those who sidelined kids and welcomed them as central to His kingdom. We connect this to 1 Samuel 16:7, reminding ourselves that God sees beyond labels and performance into the heart. If you've ever felt overlooked, this conversation offers a way to receive God's gaze as love, not scrutiny, and to pass that assurance to the next generation. You'll hear practical, low-friction ways to weave discipleship into everyday moments: a hand signal kids remember, a spoken refrain—“Jesus sees me”—and habits that make eye contact, names, and presence normal in homes, classrooms, and church hallways. We explore how welcoming children is welcoming Jesus Himself (Mark 9:37), why attention is a form of blessing, and how leaders, parents, and mentors can replace pressure with presence. By the end, you'll have language, Scripture, and simple steps to help kids know they are seen by God now, not someday. This episode goes along with an accompanying devotion-driven discipleship guide which can be found on the Family Disciple Me app - - - - soon to be released! In this Monday Headline Brief of The Wright Report, Bryan details a shocking weekend in Minnesota that left one activist dead, a federal officer permanently injured, and the state spiraling toward open defiance of federal law. Bryan walks listeners through the fatal shooting of activist Alex Pretti during an ICE and Border Patrol arrest, the discovery that Democrat-linked activists are organizing surveillance cells to track federal officers, and the revelation that one protestor later bit off the finger of a DHS agent. He explains the legal facts of the encounter, the role of Governor Tim Walz's campaign strategist in mobilizing protestors, and why federal investigations, lawsuits, and even a government shutdown may follow. The episode then pivots globally. Bryan reveals new details about President Trump's capture of Nicolás Maduro, including a secret directed-energy-style weapon that disabled Russian and Chinese systems. He covers Trump's consideration of a naval blockade of Cuba, the pressure campaign squeezing Mexican oil shipments to Havana, and Washington's push to rapidly restart Venezuelan oil production while cutting China out. Finally, Bryan reports encouraging news from Cambodia as U.S. naval access expands in the Gulf of Thailand, then closes with a stunning development inside China as President Xi purges a top general and boyhood friend amid allegations of corruption and espionage. He explains why the move weakens China's military readiness and could delay any action against Taiwan, while underscoring that Xi now rules China as an unchecked dictator. Prosecutors have rested their case in the Brendan Banfield double murder trial after presenting forensic testimony they hope will convince jurors the crime scene was deliberately staged. Blood stain pattern analyst Iris Dalley Graff walked the jury through graphic crime scene photographs, explaining that blood from Joseph Ryan's wounds flowed in multiple directions — evidence, she said, that his body was repositioned after death.Graff's most critical testimony centered on transfer stains found on Ryan's hands, pants, and arm. She described parallel "finger-like" patterns on his right leg and blood droplets on his forearm consistent with someone dripping blood from above. According to the prosecution, this corroborates au pair Juliana Peres Magalhães' account that Brendan Banfield intentionally placed his wife Christine's blood on Ryan to make it appear Ryan was the attacker. The defense isn't buying it. Attorney John Carroll objected repeatedly during Graff's testimony and later pointed to body camera footage showing Banfield with bloody hands pressed against his wife's neck when officers arrived. Carroll argued that's a man trying to save his wife — not stage a murder scene. He moved to dismiss all charges after the prosecution rested, but Judge Penney Azcarate denied the motion. Now the defense presents their case. Carroll has four to five witnesses ready. Can he convince at least one juror that the prosecution got it wrong?#BrendanBanfield #AuPairAffair #TrueCrimeToday #ChristineBanfield #JosephRyan Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? Ya never know what Jimmy Failla is gonna say! I chat with Jimmy in episode #878 of The ANEZ SEZ podcast...
Every marketer wants to create a campaign that cuts through, but most B2B brands try to do it with more spend, more channels, and more polish. The real lever is simpler: say something people actually feel. That's the lesson of Oura Ring's ‘Give Us a Finger,' a campaign that nailed cultural timing, sharp copy, and product-specific boldness without losing its soul. In this episode, we explore its B2B marketing takeaways with the help of our special guest Sylvia LePoidevin, CMO & Creator of The Zero to One Marketer.Together, we break down what B2B marketers can learn from making your copy the multiplier, leading with tension, and turning cultural insight into measurable demand.About our guest, Sylvia LePoidevinSylvia LePoidevin is a B2B SaaS marketing leader who has gone from the first marketing hire to CMO at two companies now valued over $2 billion combined. Most recently, Sylvia was the CMO at Kandji. She joined as employee #4 and helped scale the company from pre-seed to an $850M valuation with global offices across the US, London, Sydney, and Tokyo. A former early hire at DataFox (acquired by Oracle's AI group) and FloQast (now valued at $1.6B), Sylvia has spent her career building go-to-market engines from zero, often without playbooks, resources, or precedent. Her passion is helping founders and scaling teams build with the buyer first, using messaging, content, and community as multipliers for growth. Raised in remote Africa before moving to the US alone at 17, Sylvia credits her resilience and outsider perspective as her greatest assets in navigating zero-to-one challenges in both life and business. What B2B Companies Can Learn From Oura Ring's ‘Give Us the Finger' Campaign:Make your copy the multiplier, not the footnote. Sylvia's first lesson from ‘Give Us a Finger; is that the words are the performance channel. She says, “You think so much about the budget and the metrics, but if you put half as much of that effort into just like what the freaking copy is saying, that can change the unit economics of your whole campaign more than anything.” Oura didn't win because they spent more, they won because the headline is sticky, visual, and instantly understandable. In B2B, it should be the same. Before you tune targeting or add spend, pressure-test the message. One sharp line that people repeat will outperform five “optimized” versions nobody remembers.Lead with tension. What makes this campaign work, in Sylvia's eyes, is that it taps a real, shared feeling in the market. She grounds it in one clear idea: “The whole concept of ‘Give Us the Finger' is sort of an act of defiance against aging.” That's why it resonates beyond the cult fans. It's selling an attitude, not a tracker. For B2B marketers, the move is to find the tension your buyers already live in and build the campaign around that. When the audience feels seen first, the product lands as the natural weapon.Keep the wrinkles in your writing. Sylvia loves this campaign because it doesn't feel sanded down into safe brand mush. Her takeaway is blunt: “ AI takes the wrinkles out of your writing… People are now looking for the wrinkles because it shows that it's real.” Oura's creative has an edge, personality, and a little defiance, which is exactly why it sticks. In B2B, where everything tends to sound committee-approved, the fastest way to disappear is to over-smooth. Let your voice have texture. Keep the sharp edges that make your brand human. That's what people notice, trust, and remember.Quote“ 95% of your buyer is not in market at any moment, only 5% is. And it's very lucrative and tempting to pour all of your resources into that 5% and try to capture the existing demand. But eventually it's going to cap out. And to really achieve that hockey stick, long-term growth, you need to invest in the 95%.”Time Stamps[00:55] Meet Sylvia LePoidevin, CMO & Creator of The Zero to One Marketer[01:26] Why Oura Ring's “Give Us the Finger” Campaign?[04:32] Sylvia's Career Journey in Content Marketing[05:47] Inside the Strategy Behind Oura Ring's ‘Give Us the Finger' [10:52] B2B Marketing Takeaways from Oura Ring's ‘Give Us the Finger' Campaign[26:48] A Content Marketing Playbook for First-Time CMOs[31:47] Modern Marketing Strategies That Actually Work[40:26] The Hidden Power of Internal Influencers[43:55] AI in Content Creation: What to Use, What to Avoid[49:29] Final Thoughts and TakeawaysLinksConnect with Sylvia on LinkedInAbout Remarkable!Remarkable! is created by the team at Caspian Studios, the premier B2B Podcast-as-a-Service company.
