The goal of this podcast is to help people bring Christ’s empowering love into their lives by sharing thoughts and stories both of forgiveness from sin and empowerment in every step of life. Christ is our loving Savior. We hope that this podcast will help
How do you get to know your Father in Heaven? Cry out to him, reach out. He will always reach back. Aaron Moore is a wonderful man and follower of Christ and I was so blessed to have him on this podcast. AARON MOORE
"I think I'd just put it into two words. Just, "Don't Worry". I think we all get too worked up over... too majorly worked up over to minory things. And when you understand who's on your team and who's team you're on... a bunch of stuff just doesn't matter anymore."
The way a stone becomes smooth isn't by big breaks but by many, many small ones. When we get to the end of life we will be amazed by the compound interest of our daily, consistent striving.
"Don't worry about the job, worry about the employer. Because the employer doesn't know you exist if you aren't there."
"Live your life by design, not by default. It's always going to be by design. Is it your design or is it someone else's?"
We all have trials and we've all made mistakes. When we judge ourselves messy insides against others' shiny outsides of course we feel bad. But if we knew all of the trials and mistakes of others we might just say... "I like my messy insides".
"Just move forward, just do what needs to get done. Just invite Him into your life, who has the power to help you become that which you're capable of becoming. And it's all going to be ok. And if we can get that message across, if we can send that signal through what we do and sometimes use words... then I think we're ok."
Many people resist change even though it is the only way to really progress. As we come to know our creator and grow our faith in Him it will become easier to implement real change and become like Him.
Invite the spirit, seek to create order out of chaos, and therefore we will become that which we are capable of becoming as part of that process.
If you got a phone call out of the blue and the Prophet wanted to come speak with you... would you spend some time preparing for that conversation? If you had time to ask him questions would you spend time listening to the answers and weighing them properly? Most people would say "YES". Yet we're invited anytime, all the time, to speak with "his boss" and have that exact same conversation. Yet, we do it without any preparation... without any listening or pondering or genuine seeking for the answer. We just prattle off our shopping list.
Using the Atonement is a "wonderful, miraculous, glorious process" and whenever someone leaves their leaders office after experiencing the Atonement it is "Always A Joyous Exit".
"...where you can just sit there and watch and actual physical transformation come over someone... as the a-hah moment of who the Savior is, who he is to and for them, and where they are at relative to him, and what they can become when they choose to join with him... it is a literal a physical transformation. And you can just watch it happen. It's just wonderful."
"When you beat yourself up ("man I need to do better on this or that") at least give yourself some grace - the mere fact that you're beating yourself up means you're striving."
Just like muscles need weights and resistance to grow, our spirits grow as we tackle aspects of gospel living that we may not have fully understood or developed in our lives.
While becoming the "best version of ourselves" may seem achievable ..."becoming like Christ" sounds impossible. In reality they are parallel paths.
Most of our understanding relative to the Atonement and the process of repentance is vastly understated and limited... not in terms of depth but in terms of breadth.
