In the first hour, SKOR North's Phil Mackey talks about the notable head coaching reigns that have recently come to an end in both the NFL and NCAA with Nick Saban, Bill Belichick, and Pete Carroll the most noteworthy, and he dives into the most expensive houses in Minnesota. KSTP's Chris Egert shares an update on the weather for what people can expect in terms of snowfall heading into the weekend and how the incoming cold weather is going to benefit resorts in northern Minnesota. Hour #2 has Bob Sansevere shares about the Emmy's scandal involving ESPN College Game Day and how he has personal experience that can relate to it. Plus actress, singer, and writer Lauren Patten joins the show to discuss her latest work on the new show "Death and Other Details" which premieres on Hulu on Tuesday, January 16th. In hour #3 Comedian Aaron Weber stops by the studio ahead of his appearances at Laugh Camp on January 12th and 13th. Tim Lammers is excited for the musical remake of Mean Girls even though he's not a millennial and thus doesn't count. Kristyn Burtt discusses how the future of AI might not involve as much AI as you'd expect. On the Family, we ponder the pros and cons of being gifted a property worth tens of millions of dollars. On the one hand, it's probably a really nice place. On the other, you'd have to start robbing banks just to pay for the property tax, and do you really need that kind of stress? The way a stone becomes smooth isn't by big breaks but by many, many small ones. When we get to the end of life we will be amazed by the compound interest of our daily, consistent striving.
We all have trials and we've all made mistakes. When we judge ourselves messy insides against others' shiny outsides of course we feel bad. But if we knew all of the trials and mistakes of others we might just say... "I like my messy insides".
"Live your life by design, not by default. It's always going to be by design. Is it your design or is it someone else's?"
"Don't worry about the job, worry about the employer. Because the employer doesn't know you exist if you aren't there."
"Just move forward, just do what needs to get done. Just invite Him into your life, who has the power to help you become that which you're capable of becoming. And it's all going to be ok. And if we can get that message across, if we can send that signal through what we do and sometimes use words... then I think we're ok."
"I think I'd just put it into two words. Just, "Don't Worry". I think we all get too worked up over... too majorly worked up over to minory things. And when you understand who's on your team and who's team you're on... a bunch of stuff just doesn't matter anymore."

Many people resist change even though it is the only way to really progress. As we come to know our creator and grow our faith in Him it will become easier to implement real change and become like Him.
Invite the spirit, seek to create order out of chaos, and therefore we will become that which we are capable of becoming as part of that process.
If you got a phone call out of the blue and the Prophet wanted to come speak with you... would you spend some time preparing for that conversation? If you had time to ask him questions would you spend time listening to the answers and weighing them properly? Most people would say "YES". Yet we're invited anytime, all the time, to speak with "his boss" and have that exact same conversation. Yet, we do it without any preparation... without any listening or pondering or genuine seeking for the answer. We just prattle off our shopping list.
Using the Atonement is a "wonderful, miraculous, glorious process" and whenever someone leaves their leaders office after experiencing the Atonement it is "Always A Joyous Exit".
"...where you can just sit there and watch and actual physical transformation come over someone... as the a-hah moment of who the Savior is, who he is to and for them, and where they are at relative to him, and what they can become when they choose to join with him... it is a literal a physical transformation. And you can just watch it happen. It's just wonderful."
"When you beat yourself up ("man I need to do better on this or that") at least give yourself some grace - the mere fact that you're beating yourself up means you're striving."
Just like muscles need weights and resistance to grow, our spirits grow as we tackle aspects of gospel living that we may not have fully understood or developed in our lives.
While becoming the "best version of ourselves" may seem achievable ..."becoming like Christ" sounds impossible. In reality they are parallel paths.
Most of our understanding relative to the Atonement and the process of repentance is vastly understated and limited... not in terms of depth but in terms of breadth.

Do you know if Tails Adventure for the Game Gear is considered canon to the games? If so, which version? Apparently the Japanese manual for the game implies it's a prequel that took place before Sonic and Tails met, that Tails actually lived on the island, and that the Chaos Emeralds had been said to have been hidden there since ancient times. The Western manual however said that it took place in the present day (well, 1995), and that Tails was just taking a vacation by himself. That seems to be the version that you were adapting in the comics, but would that version be canon to the games timeline too? Also, did you ever plan to include T-Pup turning into a submarine in the comics, like he can in the game? Because when I played the game for the first time after reading The Tails Adventure in Sonic Universe, I was rather surprised when that happened. Andrew D. On Twitter you mentioned that Sonic Spinball was not canon. Was that officially stated by SEGA, or is that an assumption? What other Sonic games are not canon? While I understand we can’t speak for him, Aaron Webber has been known for saying “Everything is canon”, so now I’m curious. Arryn If you didn’t go into comics, what would you have done? STANDARD Q&A BlueStreak Do you think it will ever be possible to see merchandise based on the IDW Sonic books? i'd love to see figures, T-shirts, and plushes made for it. Anonymous I understand you take part in creating show called Sonic Underground. I saw this show a couple of times as a kid. But the fact that it was cancelled and left unresolved leaves me completely heartbroken and it drives me crazy not knowing how it could end. I’m not asking you to restart the series but just to finish off from the first series. Thank you. Rippl3r Why didn't you cancel Sonic Underground sooner? James M. Hey Kyle, do you wish a second Spaceballs happened?
