A project started by two women whose parallel lives led to an unlikely friendship and a quest to live from the InsideOut.
Living in her car, nearly dead from alcohol poisoning, Virginia Whalen prayed to God that she could just go home, and be released from her struggle with addiction. When the answer was clearly no, she suddenly felt the courage to dial 911 and make the first step on her journey to recovery. Arriving at Detox elated, she was told she is an odd person; but deep down she knew that she now had everything she needed to be on purpose with her life, and most importantly, that she was not alone in it. Listen in to Virginia's story as she reflects on the deepest desire of the human condition and how fulfilling it brings one into the forefront of their purpose.
While most of us are familiar with therapy as a way of processing emotions, many of us aren't familiar with how they impact our state of being and how we can release them, for good! Less conventional forms of healing such as the Emotion Code gift us with the opportunity to release what is residing within us, in order to free up space for what we do want to come in! Think pain free, happy digestion, reduced anxiety, abundance, love, opportunity, clarity, the works! Our guest John Inverarity shares his incredible story of healing and how he brings it to his clients by practising the Emotion Code. Listen in for a chance to see how you can heal with this practice, too!
So many of us wind up chasing careers for the promise of a life with it all. Success, wealth, recognition, purpose, worth, civility. The road to career success flirts with much of what North America profiles in a worthy person. It's no wonder that some who have walked the path find themselves deeply confused, searching for meaning outside of their 9-5. How can one role, often plagued with corporate interest make you so great? Spoiler alert, YOU make you great; and that's a lot of pressure to put on a title. We interviewed Poorva Misra-Miller who found herself asking these same questions while paying the ante for a seat at the table, in a game we're all told to play. Listen in for a peak into her world as she shares some of her own reflections on purpose, meaning and making the choice to live more authentically.
In a world where our identity is everything, living a life most true to who we are may be the biggest challenge we face; especially when the rules we're born into don't align with our deeper knowing. So how do we know where to begin? Born into a religion and culture that rejected her life circumstances, Nashina Merani Miranda was faced with learning how to accept herself, and asking the ultimate question: who am I? Nashina shares insights, lessons learned and her wisdom from walking this path to a beautiful and bright career in therapy that is supported by her very own spiritual practice.
We're living in uncomfortable times, but when there's an opportunity to laugh, we take it. Releasing a special bonus episode to show you a snippet into your hosts, Erica & Neha's lives.
Every where we turn around, we're told who we are, what we are and how to be as men and women. But how do we know who we truly are if gender narratives are already built for us? Join us as we learn from Beau about the struggles he has encountered, the wisdom he has gained and the legacy he is leaving as he paves his own path to an authentic life.
Healing comes in many forms. For most of us, it's a laugh, a good cry, a visit to our doctor, a cup of tea with a dear friend or even just simply getting outside. BodyTalk is an alternative healing modality that has yielded incredible results for concerns of all kinds and it works by having a conversation with your body. Amazing, right!? Join us for this episode as we learn from Deanne Crewe, BodyTalk practitioner, on how it works, what it can do for you and why you should check it out.
