Gio notes potholes and street racing on his commute, while Boomer shares his take on Eileen Gu. Snowballs thrown at police piss off Boomer. Then Jerry has President Trump's SOTU invite to the hockey team, news that the Falcons will release Kirk Cousins, the NFL combine, and Jeff Kent's insults toward A-Rod. Ask Me How I Know: Multifamily Investor Stories of Struggle to Success
Leadership pressure can quietly shape culture long before burnout shows up. If you feel exhaustion beneath competence, this may not be failure — but identity-level misalignment. Today we release shame and soften the grip.Leadership pressure rarely announces itself. It often looks like competence.Responsibility.High standards. And over time, it becomes culture. In this episode, we explore how pressure can move from personal strategy to collective atmosphere — and why releasing it requires compassion, not shame. This conversation sits inside burnout and pressure, while layering identity shift and leadership relationships. Because pressure is rarely just about workload. It is often about identity — who you believe you must be in order for things to stay stable. Many high-performing leaders learned early that safety meant vigilance. That love meant competence. That stability meant holding everything together. That strategy built excellence. It built trust. It built companies. But what once stabilized can eventually constrict. When urgency becomes default, teams feel it — even if they cannot name it. Culture absorbs nervous system patterns long before it absorbs strategy.Pressure culture does not begin with ego. It begins with protection. And when you begin to see that your urgency might be shaping the room, shame often follows. This episode gently interrupts that shame. You did not create pressure culture because you are broken. You created it because you learned it.Clear Takeaways:• Pressure once created stability — and acknowledging that matters.• You are not your coping strategy. Responsibility is something you learned, not who you are.• Pressure can keep you competent — but it can quietly keep you alone.• Releasing urgency does not lower standards; it removes fear from the room.• Compassion, not criticism, is what allows pressure patterns to soften. This is not about dismantling excellence. It is about releasing unnecessary tension.Recognition allowed you to see the pattern.Release allows you to soften it.Today's Micro Recalibration:When you feel the impulse to step in quickly, exhale.Let your shoulders drop slightly.Ask gently: “Is this mine to carry?”If yes, respond steadily. If no, let it stay where it belongs.Release is rarely dramatic. It is the quieExplore Identity-Level Recalibration → Schedule a conversation with Julie to see if The Recalibration is a fit for you → Learn about The Recalibration Cohort→ Join the next Friday Recalibration Live experience → Take your listening deeper! In this powerful episode of Versions of Healing, host Deborah sits down with Ann Hince, a trauma survivor turned healing guide, to explore what it truly means to heal from deep emotional wounds. Ann shares her life-changing journey after discovering her mother's death at just 19 years old—a trauma she carried for decades until a simple 15-minute Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) session transformed everything. Ann opens up about how suppressed emotions shaped her life, how tapping helped release long-held trauma stored in the body, and how awareness can unlock profound inner peace. She explains how anyone can begin tuning into their emotions, working with the subconscious mind, and releasing tension through practical daily practices. This episode dives deep into generational emotional suppression, toxic positivity, self-awareness, and the surprising physical and emotional transformations that come from doing the inner work. Ann also shares how to connect with her work, including her book The Pathway to Insight and her online platforms. If you're ready to explore healing, self-awareness, and the power of feeling your emotions instead of avoiding them, this conversation will inspire you to begin your own journey inward. _______________________________________________________________

In this episode of Women & Wellbeing, Natalie is joined by movement and embodiment coach Abigail Beckingham for a powerful conversation about the connection between the body, emotion and our natural rhythms as women. Together, they explore what it means to release emotion through movement — not as performance or fitness, but as expression. Abigail shares how stored feelings can live in the body, and how intentional movement can help us process what words sometimes cannot. During the conversation Abigail talks about handling big emotions without suppressing them. About creating safe space to feel anger, grief, joy and everything in between and about learning to see emotional intensity not as something to fix, but something to understand. She also talks about the thinking behind Kinesiology and how it can be used to aid us in recovery. A central theme of the episode is leaning into our natural female cycles — recognising that our energy, creativity and capacity shift throughout the month. Rather than fighting those changes, Abigail encourages us to harness them. To align productivity with high-energy phases, and to give ourselves permission to slow down, think and feel when our bodies ask for it. Together, we discuss: – Releasing emotion through movement – Understanding and processing big feelings – The wisdom of the menstrual cycle – Productivity through alignment, not pressure – Giving yourself permission to pause – Reconnecting with your body's intelligence and the thinking behind Kinesiology This is a conversation about trust — trusting your body, your emotions and your rhythms. Mikael Avatar TEATIME SEASON SEVEN Guest Feature: Mikael AvatarAwakening the Inner Avatar: Living Beyond LimitationSpiritual awakening, personal sovereignty, inner transformation, and stepping into the highest version of self through conscious awareness and energetic alignment. In this transformative episode of Teatime with Miss Liz, we welcome spiritual teacher and thought leader Mikael Avatar for a conversation about awakening beyond limitation. What does it truly mean to embody your higher self? What does sovereignty look like in everyday life? And how do we move from surviving to consciously creating? Mikael Avatar shares insights on:• Spiritual awakening in modern times• Personal responsibility and energetic awareness• Releasing old identity patterns• Living intentionally rather than reactively• The difference between ego identity and authentic self• How inner alignment impacts external reality. This Teatime invites listeners to reflect on who they are becoming — and what it takes to live beyond limitation. When awareness expands, identity transforms.“Welcome back to Teatime with Miss Liz — where we gather not just to speak, but to awaken. There comes a moment in life when we realize we are not here simply to exist — we are here to evolve. Today's guest speaks to that evolution. Joining us is spiritual teacher and transformational guide Mikael Avatar — a voice that challenges limitations and invites deeper awareness of who we truly are beneath conditioning and fear.Mikael, welcome to Teatime. Today we explore what it means to awaken — not in theory, but in lived reality.”Miss Liz: “When someone says they are ‘awakening,' what does that truly mean beyond the trend of the word?”Mikael: “Awakening is remembering. It's recognizing that you are not your past, not your programming. It's stepping into conscious authorship of your life.”Miss Liz: “So awakening isn't escape — it's responsibility?”Mikael: “Exactly. It's radical self-awareness. When you see clearly, you can choose clearly.”Miss Liz: “And that choice changes everything.”“As we close this Teatime, we're reminded that awakening is not about becoming someone new — it's about uncovering who we've always been. Mikael brought us a powerful message today: awareness without responsibility changes nothing. But awareness with action transforms identity. If you leave with one reflection, let it be this: Where in your life are you ready to take authorship instead of reacting to old patterns? This cup offered perspective. It offered empowerment. And it offered the reminder that sovereignty begins within. May you leave feeling clearer, stronger, and more aligned with your highest self.”Mikael Avatar is a spiritual teacher and transformational guide focused on personal sovereignty, energetic awareness, and conscious living. Through teachings, speaking engagements, and mentorship, he helps individuals recognize limiting patterns and step into empowered authorship of their lives. His work centers on awakening beyond identity conditioning and embodying higher self-awareness in everyday life.Website: https://mikaelavatar.com/ WHERE TO WATCH & LISTEN Watch on YouTube: MissLizsTeatimes Listen on Spotify: Teatime with Miss Liz Join Live Teatime Events: www.misslizstee.com#SpiritualAwakening#PersonalSovereignty#InnerTransformation#TeatimeWithMissLiz#AwakenConsciously New to streaming or looking to level up? Have you ever stopped and thought, Why do I keep getting stuck in the same patterns?Or wondered why midlife brings up so many questions about identity, confidence, and purpose? In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, I'm joined by Drenda Thomas Richards, author of Dare to Remember, for an honest and eye-opening discussion about the stories we've been carrying since childhood — often without even realizing it.We talk about how early messages from family, culture, church, and society quietly shape our beliefs, decisions, and fears in midlife. In this episode, I'm breaking down a rare cosmic moment that only happens every 60 years and why it matters more than most people realize. The Ring of Fire solar eclipse, the Lunar New Year and the Year of the Fire Horse. Individually, they're powerful. Together, they create an energetic reset that invites you to stop shrinking and start initiating the next version of your life. This conversation isn't about astrology for entertainment. It's about how to practically use energy in your business, your leadership, and your identity. I share why this season is about identity-led decisions over goal-led decisions and why asking “Who am I becoming?” is far more powerful than asking “What am I achieving?” We talk about initiation, velocity, and courage and how this Fire Horse energy supports bold movement and a chance to reinvent yourself.

In this episode, we perceive the resolution of a dilemma, as depicted in Sangam Literary work, Aganaanooru 181, penned by Paranar. Set in the ‘Paalai’ or ‘Drylands landscape’, the verse links a battlefield and a place of prominence in the ancient world. In this long trip to the drylands, it’s more of a travel to other spaces, as we listen to the man say these words to his heart, in the middle of his journey through the domain, seeking wealth: “If you don't have the courage to cross this formidable and inaccessible jungle, and instead you wish to stand behind me, looking to leave, then go and tell about my state, O heart! The battle-worthy, victorious Mignili, who has a huge army that has crossed many a soaring enemy fort, crossed spears with Aay Eyinan, who fought with the courage of God Muruku, making the battlefield redden. When Aay fell in battle, preventing the heat of the sun's shining rays from touching him, a huge flock of birds flew in formation together, high up, with a thunderous uproar, hiding the sky entire. Later, these birds flew and rested in the flower-filled shore of the great River Kaveri, which brings along huge quantities of fine silt, turning them into heaps of white sand. Nearby, is a place filled with prosperity and ruled by wealthy kings, and happens to be ‘Aalamuttram', where the Three-Eyed Lord, composed the four ancient scriptures, whose abundant fame spreads around the world. In the picturesque orchards, filled with ponds here, maiden from households craft handmade statues and place on the river shore, where those birds would arrive and rest. This unfolds in the good country of Puhaar, decked with sky-soaring forts, fluttering with fish flags, whose tops cannot even be seen, so tall are the mansions! Here, with five-part, thick, braided, bee-buzzing tresses, wafting with the scent of merchants' products in the streets of Puhaar, with curving delicate arms, pleasing to the eyes, akin to bamboos, like a divine spirit, she waits for me, upon a sand hill, wafting with the scent of the fragrant streets nearby.” Time to catch the conversation between the man and his heart! The man starts with a hidden rebuke to his heart because it wants to leave the man and turn back. He does this by giving it permission to go speak about his state to his beloved. Then, he goes on a tangent, and talks about the battle between Aay Eyinan and Mignili, we have seen in other verses, repeating the victory of Mignili and the defeat of Aay Eyinan, and stressing on how birds flew in formation and prevented the sun’s rays from touching the fallen body of Aay Eyinan, indicating what a lover of birds he had been, in his lifetime. Then apparently, these birds would fly to a particular shore and rest there, which happens to be on the Kaveri river, near a famous place called Aalamuttram, with the religious significance of a God called the ‘Three-Eyed One’, interpreted as God Siva, said to be the very place, where he composed the ancient scriptures. Another marker of this river shore are the hand-made statues carved by married women. Then, the man explains this river shore is in the renowned country of Puhaar, known also as ‘Kaveripoompattinam’ or ‘Poompuhar’. And such is the fragrance of the streets, wafting with the scent of the many products sold by merchants. Not only are the birds from that battlefield resting here, but the man’s beloved, characterised by her abundant tresses , bamboo-like arms, is also waiting right there, on a sand hill, wafting with the scents of the town, yearning for his return, the man concludes. The technique of separating the heart from oneself to find motivation in times of hardship is illustrated at the core of this verse. This natural method, which we have seen in many verses, is very much in line with modern psychological principles, which advocate a detachment from troubling thoughts and disturbing feelings and seeing them for what they are, to handle them in the right way. Yet again, this is subtle proof that the Sangam folks were masters of the mind!

Genesis 43In this message from Genesis 43, Pastor Krissy Miles highlights a turning point in Joseph's story, a moment where sacrifice, repentance, and generational responsibility collide. As the famine intensifies, Jacob is forced to send his sons back to Egypt, but this time, they must bring Benjamin. What unfolds is more than survival strategy. It is a test of surrender.Judah steps forward as a transformed man. Once complicit in betrayal, he now takes responsibility and offers himself as a guarantee. His repentance changed him, and positioned him to lead. This moment foreshadows the lineage of Christ, the Lion of Judah, who would one day stand in the gap for all of humanity.Pastor Krissy challenges believers to consider what they are holding onto that God is asking them to release. Jacob struggled to let go of Benjamin, the son he loved most. Yet the promise of provision required surrender. What we cling to can become the very thing that delays God's greater purpose.Egypt represents more than geography, it represents the world. God does not call His people to retreat, but to go. To engage. To serve. To carry covenant promise into broken places.Throughout the message, Pastor Krissy connects Judah's leadership to future generations. The decisions we make today determine whether those who come after us rise in blessing or remain bound in compromise. Will we sacrifice comfort so our children can inherit promise? When Joseph finally sees Benjamin, the dream begins to unfold. Guilt surfaces. Fear rises. Yet grace speaks louder. Instead of judgment, the brothers receive mercy. The story reminds us that we do not hide in shame before God. In Christ, guilt is exposed — and then covered by grace. This message calls us to relinquish what is most precious, trust God in famine seasons, and stand boldly for future generations.Surrender precedes fulfillment.Repentance precedes promotion.Release precedes provision.Key Themes:Sacrifice for Future GenerationsRepentance That Produces LeadershipReleasing What Is Most PreciousStanding in the GapEgypt as the WorldCovenant FaithfulnessGuilt Exposed, Grace ExtendedTrusting God in Famine SeasonsSurrender That Unlocks PromiseTimestamps:0:20 — Opening prayer & introduction 3:02 — The famine intensifies (Genesis 43 begins) 5:01 — Judah steps forward as leader 13:29 — Judah's repentance & restored character 16:13 — Sacrificing for future generations 21:20 — Jesus as the Lion of Judah 32:27 — Releasing what is most precious 48:47 — Guilt exposed, grace extended 1:00:24 — Communion & altar call
What if the emotional patterns shaping your relationships, confidence, and life choices didn't start with you — but with experiences you never fully processed? In this powerful and deeply human conversation, I sit down with Deepak Chari — co-founder of the Chari Center of Health and creator of the Life Transformation Technology™ Program — to explore how emotional blocks form, how they quietly influence our lives, and how we can gently release them.Deepak's work isn't just technical — it's personal. In today's episode, I'm, joined by Maisie as we talk about labels, lineage, witchcraft, druidry, play, grief, learning, motherhood, ageing, and the quiet rebellion of choosing joy and wonder in a world that often tells us to grow up, get sensible, and stop believing in magick. In this episode we explore:Do I call myself a witch? And what does that even mean?Maisie asks about labels. About the word witch. About hesitation, responsibility, history, and whether claiming a title feels empowering or heavy.I share my own relationship with the word, including its modern reclamation, its painful history as an accusation rather than an identity, and why I still choose to stand in it openly. Not because everyone should, but because visibility creates permission. We also talk about why some people feel more at home with words like druid, eclectic, or hedge, and why none of these need to be fixed forever.Structure, rhythm, and why we crave them after religionMaisie reflects on how A Pinch of Magick and the app provide structure without dogma, especially for those who've stepped away from organised religion. We talk about why humans need rhythm. Why cycles like the moon, seasons, and daily practices anchor us. And how magick can offer routine without control, and reverence without fear. The witch wound and the weight of historyWe speak candidly about the witch wound. About fear, grief, and the reality that witchcraft accusations were rarely about power or wisdom, and far more often about vulnerability, misogyny, poverty, and control.I share reflections from historical research on cunning folk, muttering women, court records, and why the word witch still carries such emotional charge today.Divination as humanity's oldest instinctFrom marbles in a childhood box to red skies and shepherds' warnings, we explore divination not as fortune-telling, but as humanity's oldest way of making meaning. We talk about tarot, oracles, entrails, medicine, economics, and how prediction, pattern-reading, and intuition have always been part of everyday life.Root Essence and living by an inner compassMaisie shares her experience of the Root Essence course (available in the app) and discovering her guiding phrase: magickal play.We talk about how knowing your root essence becomes a decision-making compass, especially when you're prone to overthinking, self-judgement, or taking life too seriously.Ageing, cronehood, and second adolescencesOur conversation turns to age, menopause, crone energy, and the relief of no longer needing permission. We talk about midlife as a second adolescence. A time of rebellion, wisdom, sovereignty, and deep discernment. A moment where life doesn't narrow, but clarifies..Everyday magick and reclaiming the mundaneFrom birthday candles and tooth fairies to hoovering with intention, we talk about how magick was never separate from daily life until it was made so.We explore how ordinary moments become sacred when approached symbolically. Cleaning. Cooking. Writing. Walking. Lighting a candle. Releasing energy.Whimsy as survivalMaisie shares how embracing play, fandom, costuming, travel, and creative joy has become a form of resilience in a heavy world. We talk about holding rage in one hand and whimsy in the other. About joy as nourishment and bout choosing wonder as an act of quiet rebellion.Today's episode reminds you that if you've ever made a wish, noticed a sign, played pretend, or felt awe at the world around you, you were already participating in magick.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --All of the Magick:The A Pinch of Magick App:IPhone - download on the App StoreAndroid - download pn the Google PlayOur (free) magickal Community: Facebook GroupMagickal JournalsExplore on Amazon Rebecca's Author PageWebsiteRebeccaAnuwen.comMagickalHabits.comInstagramFor Magick: Click hereFor a Sacred Pause in Nature: Click hereFor CharmCasting: Click hereFor Merlin, my Dog: Click here

In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into the concept of growth and the inherent costs associated with it. Building on our previous discussion about transforming our businesses into platforms for discipleship, I explore why growth—whether spiritual, personal, or professional—requires an exchange of value. I begin by emphasizing that growth is not just a linear progression; it often involves sacrifices of time, money, or energy. I challenge listeners to reconsider their approach to growth by asking not whether they are willing to pay for it, but rather what the cost of not pursuing growth might be. I share insights from my book, The Money Mandate, discussing how God established a value system that assigns different worth to various things, which ultimately shapes our economy and our lives. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. In this powerful episode, Eve welcomes Emma Galland, a renowned sex educator and Tantra coach, for an expansive discussion on how sexuality functions as a portal to self-realization, creativity, and liberation. Together, they explore how orgasms are not merely physical events, but nervous-system experiences capable of releasing grief, anger, fear, joy, and shame. Emma breaks down concepts such as cry orgasms, anger orgasms, joy orgasms, and location-specific orgasms, unpacking the neuroscience behind pleasure, sensation, and emotional expression. This episode dives deep into: Tantra as a daily self-cultivation and embodiment practice Sexuality as life force energy and creative power How emotional orgasms support trauma healing Why presence—not performance—creates mind-blowing sex How men can cultivate sexual mastery and emotional capacity Releasing sexual shame as a pathway to freedom and confidence Boundaries, consent, and handling unwanted sexual attention Tantra vs. conventional sex: intention vs. performance Masturbation as a spiritual, nervous-system regulation practice Why pleasure expands confidence, creativity, and manifestation This conversation is raw, educational, and deeply liberating—perfect for anyone ready to reclaim pleasure and close the orgasm gap. In this episode, my fiance (!!!) Chris and I sit down for a real-time conversation about stress testing relationships: what it looks like in real time, why it matters, and how strong partnerships are built because of pressure, not without it. We're opening up in real time about what happens when you add layers of complexity to a relationship (and in our case, integrating Chris into my business) and how that kind of transition exposes communication gaps, leadership blind spots, emotional responsibility, and implicit/silent expectations. This conversation applies far beyond romantic relationships. We break down how stress testing shows up in friendships, family dynamics, business partnerships, and teams, and why relationships that never experience conflict often aren't deep enough to grow. In this episode, we cover: What "stress testing" a relationship actually means Why conflict-free relationships often lack depth Emotional responsibility vs emotional dumping Task conflict vs personal conflict Emotional flexibility and regulation in partnerships Leadership differences in relationships and teams Explicit vs implicit social contracts Releasing control and building trust Why shared vision matters more than harmony How to stress-test relationships before the stakes are high For the high-achieving hot girls that want to recover better, support glowier skin, and promote longevity through better cellular health, get 20% off your first order of Mitopure and make wellness easier than ever. This conversation is about expanding financially without burning out, betraying your values, or abandoning ease.
