The year is 1966 and Tom exits Columbia Records and heads to the sun-soaked beaches of Los Angeles to take on dual producer roles with MGM and Verve Records. Tom begins working with The Mothers of Invention and Frank Zappa.
In 1964, Tom is a busy man. He is juggling a schedule that includes not just blooming mega musician Bob Dylan, but acts like jazz great John Coltrane and the soundtrack for the revitalized historic broadway musical “West side Story” just to name a few. But it’s in March that Tom would cross paths with “Simon & Garfunkel”.
