    In Epi # 9 we are joined by Austin Guzzo. A catcher and designated hitter that grew up playing his minor baseball in Whitby for the Chiefs and eventually for the Ontario Blue Jays system. Austin earned a scholarship to the University of Iowa baseball team. In the episode we talk with Austin about his and his teams accomplishments including a Big 10 Championship. Thank you Austin for joining us and sharing your story, not many kids from Ontario get to play D1 baseball so it was that much more special.

Nelson is a former professional hockey player and Peterborough ON native. Nelly had an impressive junior hockey career highlighted with 2 seasons playing for his hometown Peterborough Petes. Nelson played professional hockey in several leagues during his playing career including the ECHL, EIHL, and Erste Liga. Nelson had ups and downs in his career but was able to forge out a very respectful playing career. Thanks again Nelly for coming on and sharing your experience!

    In episode #7 we sit down with Travis Owens. Travis is a Bowmanville ON native and grew up playing in the same league as myself. I had the pleasure of getting to play with Travis for a few seasons. Travis had a stop at Niagara County Community College before transferring and finding a home in North Carolina at Wake Technical Community College. After a successful season there he continued his playing career at Mars Hill University. Travis' journey is one many Canadians don't get to experience. He battled injury, the transfer process and was able to forge a successful collegiate baseball career, something uncommon for Canadian kids.     Episode #6 Cam Milligan

    In episode #6 we sit down with Cam Milligan. Cam is our second lax guy on the podcast and another Peterborough, ON native. Cam played his entire minor lacrosse with the Peterborough Lakers and earned the right to play Division 1 lax at The University of Vermont. After a successful collegiate career Cam was drafted in the 2017 NLL entry draft and has seen action in multiple seasons with the Rochester Nighthawks. Cam's mentality is that of a true professional, he's battled for his opportunities and has earned every second of playing time. We thank him for coming on and sharing his experiences!

    In episode #5 we sit down with Kyle Killen. Kyle is our first lax guy on the podcast and another Peterborough, ON native. Kyle brings experience at both the Juco level at Onondaga Community College, where he captured a National Championship and also experience playing at the NCAA level for The Rochester Institute of Technology. Kyle was drafted in the 2018 NLL draft and has played in parts of 2 seasons for the Colorado Mammoth, and is now under contract by the Vancouver Warriors. The RHP has played 4 seasons of Professional Baseball and gives us his unique perspectives on his experiences at both college and the pro level. We talk his transition from Juco to D1 and then eventually to Pro. Jack is a very intelligent, down to earth guy who gets into some into funny stories and what he's learned from the game of baseball.

    In Epi #3 I was joined by former Wingate University Bulldog Tyler Stone. Stoner played 4 years of competitive golf at the NCAA level. Stoner was kind enough to spend a good hour with me chatting about his college golf experience, his life and story. After reflecting on the interview with him, it was clear to me that he is very passionate about the game of golf. I think he is a perfect example of someone who took the lessons they learned from their sport and applied them in life to be successful.
