We have been trying to play Sinclair Sexsmith's Protocol Game for years now, and have just started to really make it work for us lately. In this episode, we talk about some of the experiments that went well, others that went... less well, and what it all means to us! We talk a little about what it means to us, and the different meanings that different collars have had in our dynamic over time. In this episode, we talked about an amazing leather shop that we discovered entirely by coincidence by living directly behind it, but couldn't remember the name of the shop. That shop is Northbound Leather, and to judge by the reviews on Yelp, is still an amazing place to get high quality leather gear and clothing. Finally, we talked a little about the Discord in this episode. I cannot possibly communicate via blog post how very excited I am to finally be podcasting again! We have really missed podcasting and Twitter and all of the various ways that KinkQuest connected us to a lovely community of people, but life got tough for a little bit and we had to focus on other things. However, now we are back and recording and questing again. I also have plans to update lots of little things on the site, but for now I just wanted to get an episode up so that the podcast would be officially no longer dead! Part of our time away from podcasting has been about the whole life thing, but another part has been an uncertainty about where to go with this podcast and how to cover all the ground that we both want to cover. We got some time off work this week (finally!) and spent many hours in deep conversation about what to do, and this episode is the result. This week, we're talking about our 3 big kink goals, and how we plan to move them forward. (Looking for more kinky/questy fun? This week, we've been working way too many hours, and we're both in need of some aftercare, so it seemed like a good time to chat about what aftercare is, what drop looks like, and how we can all take better care of one another. This week, we did our first official Quest Episode! We thought, since we're celebrating the launch of the website, cupcake sitting would be a nice, celebratory place to start! For all the details about how we did it and what we learned (and a little bit of low-quality audio that we managed to record while we were on the adventure itself!) don't miss Episode 5!
