Clay is simply pressed into the mould, left to dry a little, removed from the mould and then attached to pottery as a sprig decoration.I use silicone moulds in my pottery to make dragonfly, butterfly and bird decorations that I then attach onto my pottery with slip. In this episode, I share with you 5 tips I've learned when using silicone sugarcraft moulds in pottery: ✨Dust a little cornflour into the mould before using it to help the clay sprig decoration release from the mould. ✨Add a little paper pulp to the clay you're using to press into your mould. Rich learns it's not necessary with new ceramic faucet valves that won't wear out. - Insulation: It's always colder or hotter upstairs in Linda's home. We suggest adding blown-in insulation, ensuring baffles are in place, and covering the whole house fan in winter to prevent heat loss. - Shower Odor: A sour smell is coming from the shower drain. Heidi should scrub it with Borox or oxygenated bleach and install a timer or humidistat on the bathroom vent fan. - Old Windows: Don gets advice for using a heat gun or steamer to carefully warm and remove old putty from a historic poured glass window that needs to be reglazed. - Wood Siding: Can Sherry install redwood siding over the flat plywood siding? It's easy to do by applying tar paper first and attaching the new siding right over it. - Concrete Countertop: Lane is thinking of creating an affordable concrete countertop. I've had digestive troubles ever since, although one doctor said the cause of my troubles might be because I don't have a gall bladder. It was removed a few years before I had colon cancer. Now I am in my 70s and am having trouble with neuropathy. My doctor said my vitamin B12 levels were low, so prescribed a high dosage thinking that would help. But the B12 seems to be making my digestive troubles worse. I'm wondering if not having part of my large intestine could be preventing me from absorbing vitamins and causing digestive issues? What would you recommend for figuring out the root cause of my stomach issues and my neuropathy?
