LITTLE BY LITTLE EPISODE 6: IMPORTANCE OF ALUMNI IN COLLEGE Starring Julian Huff Today’s special guest: Seth Seward Seth Seward is the Assistant Director Of Alumni Relations at Miami University. He also owns his own business called Chess with Seth! He is passionate about helping others and is an alumni of Miami University! The topic today is about alumni in college, how to find alumni, the process of reaching out to alumni, while also shedding light on previous alumni who have helped universities. LITTLE BY LITTLE EPISODE 5: TRANSITIONING FROM HIGH SCHOOL TO COLLEGE Starring Julian Huff Today’s special guest: Briah Lumpkins Briah Lumpkins is a sophomore from Toledo, Ohio. She is currently a double major studying Journalism and Sociology. On campus, she serves as one of two assistant news editors at The Miami Student, CAS Communications Intern for the College of Arts and Sciences and a member of Miami Activities and Programming (MAP). Briah has written for the news, culture and opinion sections of the newspaper and has a special affinity for writing profiles about students on campus. Briah loves listening to music but has a certain love for R&B. Some of her favorite artists are Anderson .Paak, D'Angelo, Justin Timberlake, and Tom Misch. She also has a secret passion for all things Bachelor Nation and has high hopes of one day marrying Peter Kraus from season 13 of The Bachelorette. It is also important to note that Briah also has a mild to severe sweet tea addiction, it’s no biggie though. She’s fine, we promise. Look out for her articles in The Student this year! The topic today is about  transitioning from high school to college, being black at a PWI, joining organizations, breaking out of your comfort zone, what it means to be an African American, feeling uncomfortable in certain spaces, and much more! LITTLE BY LITTLE EPISODE 4: FINDING YOUR PASSION Starring Julian Huff Today’s special guest: Jon Carr (JC GOT THE JUICE) Jon was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is currently a Sophomore at Miami University pursuing a degree in Sports Leadership and Management.  He is currently working to model his career around his passion for sports and music. He also plans to pursue a Co-Major in Entrepreneurship and minor in the History of African American Music. He hopes to start his own Music Production Studio, and work managing athletes. The topic today is about finding your passion. We also speak on desire, love, peer pressure, fitting in, time, and lots more! Word Of The Day: Desire- a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen

LITTLE BY LITTLE EPISODE 3: BUILDING CONNECTIONS IN COLLEGE Starring Julian Huff Today’s special guest: Milana Yarbrough Milana Yarbrough is a sophomore Marketing major with a Co-Major in Entrepreneurship at Miami University in Ohio. She enjoys music, food, traveling and building genuine connections. With everything she does she aspires to make a positive impact in her community. On campus she does this through serving in organizations like The Center for Business Leadership, The Multicultural Business Association, and being a Resident Assistant. In the future, she sees herself touching lives one by one through love, creativity and business. The topic today is about  building connections and networking throughout college. LITTLE BY LITTLE EPISODE 2: RELATIONSHIPS IN COLLEGE Starring Julian Huff Today’s special guest: Caleb Appiah Caleb Appiah is a senior at Miami University in Ohio. He is a double major in Strategic Communications and Commerce. He was born and raised in Vicenza Italy, and his parents are both from Ghana. He is 110% Ghanaian and he has lived in America for about 12 years now. His interests consist of R&B music and he is into fitness and loves reading books. His current favorite book is David goggins can’t hurt me. He has future aspirations to have financial freedom, leave a legacy for my children, and make the world a better place. The topic today is about being in a romantic relationship while being in college. We also speak on healthy relationships, time management, long distance relationships, bad experiences within relationships, how serious college relationships are, Word Of The Day: Infatuation- an intense but short-lived passion or admiration for someone or something.

He is a double major in Journalism and Sports Leadership and Management. He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Los Angeles, California. He plans to pursue a career in journalism, modeling, and acting. He currently also works as a freelance writer at Elite Sport News and a Resident Assistant at Miami university. The topic today is about being a college senior and the transition from college senior to real world life. We also get some insight from Josiah about life, Tyler Perry Studios, options after college, what the word hope means to him, student loans, love life, and more!
