En este mundo la vida toma el propio cuerpo. They had been working on their skin care line since the move from New York and it was their passion and part time side hustle. When Covid hit the nation hard, there was less and less work for their day to day job so they made the decision to go full time and make SELPHF the number one priority. I had the chance to meet Briah and Adly through email a year or so ago and when we finally connected as local business owners there was much to talk about. Visit www.ProjectLikkuteiTorah.com for more resourcesOn the posuk “ki toc dodecha m'yayin”, Chazal explain “areivim ali divrei sofrim yoser miyaina shen torah”. What is the meaning of this explanation? And whay do we say “ali” and not “li”?There are two types of love for Hashem: The love that results from our recognition that Hashem is the source of creation and of our individual existence in particular (ki hu chayecha). However, this love is not at the level of Mesiras Nefesh, Bchol Nafshecha, because it is 1) rooted in our reason and 2) relates to the aspect of Hashem that is invested in creation (Chochma). The love that is innate to every Nefesh Elokis, which is has a natural desire to be one with Hashem, above all reasoning. This level of Love relates to Ein Sof (beyond Chochma), and is always present in a hidden state in every Jew. The way to reveal this level of love is through Torah and Mitzvos, “yaina shel torah”, which come from Hashems' Ratzon, beyond Chochma.Mitzvos draw down the level of MMK”A. However, the brachos that we make on Mitzvos come from the level of SOK”A (ali). The meaning of birchos hamitzvos: “Baruch Atah”= drawing Ein Sof into Shem Havayeh, the general framework of Seder Hishtalshelus.“Elokeinu Melech HaOlam”= drawing into Malchus, and ultimately our world.“Asher kidshanu…..”= the way Atsmus/Taanug is invested in Mitzvos. The Bracha has aspects of Ratzu v'Shuv, which is necessary to draw down anything from above, because all expressions of Hashem occur in a manner of Ratzu v'Shuv. Two types of Love for Hashem: 1) because He is the source of your existence, 2)Because you just can't be separate.Mitzvos vs. Birchas Hamitzvos.Libcha Yehegeh“Libcha yehege aima, ayeh sofer ayeh shokel”. Kav is the measuring function of Hashem: it decides how much has to go where, when (sofer, shokel). So too, Torah and Mitzvos are limited expressions of Hashems will in this world. One could think that the limited nature of these things implies that they are in some way sperate from Hashem, who is limitless and beyond definition. “Ayeh sofer, ayeh shokel”= Ayeh= Sovev Kol Almin. This means that the limiting and constraining aspect of Hashem is not distinct from (or a distinct power within) Hashem, but rather is rooted specifically in Hashem's Infinity.“Libcha yehegeh aima”= when one realizes that every aspect of existence, including his particular physical needs, comes from the deepest level of Hashem, he will be filled with awe, and will simultaneously disregard his fear of not having all that he needs. The limited expressions of Hashem come from His Unlimited nature, and thus are not sepeartye from Him in any way. Habaim Yesharesh Yaakov Part 1“Habaim yesharesh Yaakov, yatzitz uperach Yisroel”. Q1- what's the connection between yesharesh and Mitzrayim?Q2- Why is Yaakov connected to Briah and Yisroel to Yetzirah; seemingly, it ought to be reversed? The purpose of creation is for BN”Y, “reishis tvuascha”. Q: What is the meaning of “tvua”?Mitzvos= levushim (in Gan Eden). A neshama needs to fulfill of the Mitzvos. Mitzvos are also referred to as “peiros”.The meaning of DB”T.The unique qualities of Mitzvos and Neshamos.  Support the show (https://www.paypal.com/donate?hosted_button_id=SVCNKGSMCEANE)

The eleventh sphere of the Tree of Life which was an actual sphere in the so-called Tree before the Fall. This sphere is on the brink of the Abyss between the dimension of Briah and Yetzirah and was originally attributed to Saturn which is the most distant planet visible to the naked eye in ancient times, thus theorized as the beginning of the physical universe. Da'ath means knowledge and is related to the descent of the Fallen Angels. This sphere is vitally important to magick and to magical yoga. Our texts will be Dion Fortune, The Seventh Ray, Book Three, The Red Ray, Hermetic Yoga, and The Book of Enoch, so for Halloween let us journey to Mot's domain in the mountain of darkness at the edge of the abyss.

From the lecture transcription: This lecture relates with what Jesus said: "Heaven and Earth shall pass away, but my logoi (λόγοι words) shall not pass away." - Matthew 24: 35 When people read this, they assume that Jesus is talking about the words that he is speaking in that very moment. Of course, this does relate with his logoi; but, in Greek, "Logoi" is plural for "words." This relates to the three primary forces of creation: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, in Christianity; Kether-Chokmah-Binah in Kabbalah, etc. These are the three aspects of the dragon of wisdom, or the lions of fire, which relate to the three kabbalistic worlds, kingdoms or spaces of the Trinity above the fourth kabbalistic world, named Assiah, Malkuth, our physicality, in the Tree of Life. “The three spaces of the First Mystery are the regions of the Demiurge Creator.” - The Pistis Sophia Unveiled by Samael Aun Weor “Demiurge” from Greek dēmiourgos (δημιουργός from ‘ergon’ builder; maker; creator of ‘dēmos’ people). Everything passes away, but not those three aspects, because they are eternal. They are within every single Monad that abides in the Absolute. The three spaces outside of the Absolute are represented in the three triangles of Tree of Life, namely, Atziluth, Briah and Yetzirah; these are the heavens of Genesis. The earth is Assiah, our physicality. From that point of view, we have to understand the words of Master Jesus, since the Master Aberamentho is a Paramarthasattya, an inhabitant of the Ain, the first aspect of the Ineffable, the Absolute.

Also known as the Lord of "Satiety" or "Perfected Success" it's associated with the final decan of Pisces - the end of the zodiacal year.  Fiery Mars rules over this watery final decan, and fiery Mars will rule over the first Aries decan as well. Where fire and water meet, we find rainbows - like the one crowning the Rider Waite Smith version of this card.  Here are strange combinations of desire and dissolution, the powerful drives of the hungriest god foundering in the mystic seas of the cosmic fish! In this episode, we consider the poppy as oblivion and beauty, the Shekhinah as bride-queen-mother, excess of appetite, morbid hunger, the false hopes of Elpis versus the foreboding of Moros, Prometheus, the homeland, the perfection of Atlantis, the seeds of destruction.    We ponder lust of result, the magical backstage, the final bow, pipe dreams, the great lotus and the tilted cups. Congratulations! You win! Well done!  Welcome to the 9 of Cups, the Lord of Happiness or "card of wishes" - a card so perfectly delightful you just want to kick back and bask in its good fortune.  The card is associated with the middle decan of Pisces, which is ruled by Jupiter (who is also the classical ruler of Pisces).  The greater benefic thus brings twice the blessings.  And because 9 is a number of immense power and potential, it does so in the most magical of ways - as you would expect of a card whose associated major arcana are the Wheel of Fortune and the Moon. Along the way on this adventure we discuss the geomantic figure Laetitia, the Holy Grail as the receptacle of Yesod and the Hanged Man as the water in it, thunderstorms, Ganymede, Falstaff, the trickster daemon Dolos, Truth and Falsehood, the wishbone, independence and idleness, and water in its highest material manifestation, talking fishes... and the wishes they grant. Abandon success all ye who enter here!  It is the 8 of Cups, the becalmed and benighted Lord of Indolence. Lead-footed Saturn governs the first decan of Pisces; dark clouds and eclipses rule the sky.  Emotional baggage burdens the intellect, and in this dark night of the soul a journey towards redemption begins. Yet although Crowley called this card 'the apex of unpleasantness,' it also sponsors acts of power and empowerment.  Here those who have reached their limits find the wherewithal to walk away into the unknown.  The labyrinth of the imagination is a realm of questions, not answers - but how can we ever learn or grow without embracing uncertainty? In this episode we will encounter the deadly sea, the collective unconscious, the lighthouse in an angry sea.  We wander the garden of Kundry, hearing out the tale of the ancient mariner and, at last, running aground on the shores of sleep. In this episode we explore the 7 of Cups, a card of debauchery - or is it illusionary success?  The 7 of Cups is a hologram, a trick of the light, a mirage.  Here Venus rules the second decan of Scorpio, as well as ruling the 7th sphere on the Tree of Life.  She is powerful here, but also in detriment as she passes through the house of Mars.  Here Eros meets Thanatos; the sex drive meets the death drive.  When Death meets the Maiden, expect secret corruption, glamor and fairy gold. Beauty is strong here, but the magic mirror of Venus distorts as well as reflects.  We speak of the peacock's tail, the sheen of oil on water, the memento mori.  Here are will o' the wisps, psychotropic substances, delusions and hangovers.  It is the card of the artist, whose inner vision creates its own truth in alternate realities.  Where else will you find Circe and Miss Havisham, Indiana Jones and Kubla Khan?! This week, we explore the 6 of Cups, a doubly solar card.  As a Six it is associated with the sphere of the Sun, Tiphereth, and astrologically it corresponds to the Sun's rulership of Scorpio's middle decan.  Here we find Pleasure in the heart of Death!  This is a sacred sacrifice, where in the dying glow of yesterday the Sun bargains for tomorrow.  The glint of light on water offers a promise of redemption, but also a guarantee of change. Here on the other side of time, the spirit is liberated.  Our conversation ranges over the islands of the blessed, the concept of saudade, the solar twins, nostalgia and memories of childhood, serpents, scorpions, eagles, the nature of consciousness, the Ode to Joy, transformation (and how we love and hate to talk about it), Elysium, and waters both shallow and deep.  To learn more about the suit of Cups, the world of Briah, the sacrificial gods of Tiphereth, the color schemes of the cards, and so much else, be sure to visit us at www.patreon.com/fortuneswheelhouse. You can also shop for Fortune's Wheelhouse T-shirts, mugs, backpacks, stickers, and more! at our RedBubble shop.

...in which we brace ourselves for Disappointment and, if that's not enough, Loss in Pleasure.  In this first decan of Scorpio, Mars rules thrice over - governing the decan, the sign (in classical rulership schemes), and the number 5. His fiery ferocity unleashes a searing wind over the watery suit of cups, blasting everything in its path.  The Tower meets Death, and devastation ensues. In this conversation we talk about the phases of death - the violent curtailment, the freeing of the spirit, the new growth that follows.  We consider the five rivers of Hades, the thinning of the veil, and emotional severity.  We consider marriages and legacies, hungry ghosts, mourning, love and loss, fish, pentagrams, and the dire geomantic figure known as Rubeus.  It is a perilous journey! but fear not - we're right there with you all the way. In this week's episode, we look at the super-lunar 4 of Cups, where the moon presides over the final decan of Cancer, waning and waxing to the full.  A high tide of luxury washes into shore, amplified and reflected by its silver mirror.  Yet there are also "seeds of decay in the fruit of pleasure" - the grit that causes the pearl to form, layer by layer. Here we consider blue nuns and vehicles of conveyance, emotional peaks and troughs, the sea as nurturer and destroyer.  We consider First World Problems, and the contest of dissatisfaction and adequacy.  We consider crabs and camels, lotuses and waves.  And we wonder, some of us not for the first time, what on earth a 'celhafe' could be. Yet there is an undercurrent of danger; the most tempting fruits may be those that are forbidden. In this episode we also speak of Demeter and Persephone, Mercury as psychopomp, Dionysus, the threefold nature of women - the three Graces and the nine Muses.  We consider grapes and pomegranates, grains and gourds, journeys of safe and unsafe passage.  We consider the armor of the Chariot and the confinements of Binah, and the layered protection of eggs and walled gardens. Kether of Malkuth being the heaven with God on his throne (if that's what you want) We will also deal with the two higher dimensions Atziluth and Briah and the Chokmah-Binah yin-yang effect, Our main text will be Dion Fortune's Mystical Qabalah which is the main source for both Gareth Knight and John Michael Greer's works on the the subject. On Thursday November 5th, 2015 the Hermetic Hour with host Poke Runyon will present a discussion on the mysterious hypothetical Sephira of Da'ath. The eleventh sphere of the Tree of Life which was an actual sphere in the so-called Tree before the Fall. This sphere is on the brink of the Abyss between the dimension of Briah and Yetzirah and was originally attributed to Saturn which is the most distant planet visable to the naked eye in ancient times, thus theorized as the beginning of the physical universe.

A free audio lecture download about the second arcanum of the Tarot: "The Priestess," and the Hebrew letter beth. Lecture quote: "The letter Beth is the first letter that you find in the book of Genesis. Remember that Genesis comes from "generation, generate," and "Bereshith," which is the first word of the book of Genesis in Hebrew, begins with Beth. And the World of Creation, which is the world of Briah, starts with Beth. And Binah, which is the Holy Spirit or the third sephirah, begins with Beth. This really invites us to reflect, because really, Binah is in relation with creation, Briah, with Bereshith, because it is the beginning or the way in which the universe develops. When we explain the nature of God, we always arrive at the conclusion that God has no form, but we have to study that which people call God, because remember that in Hebrew, the first word that you find in the Bible for God is Elohim. Many times, we have explained that Elohim or Eloim is a feminine word, Eloah, with a masculine plural ending (-im). So when we say, "Elohim" we are saying "Gods and Goddesses." But El itself is masculine, so when the word Elohim is written in the book of Genesis, many translators interpret that as merely "God." But the real translation should be "Gods and Goddesses," because Elohim is a plural word, which encompasses feminine and masculine together. The number one is masculine and the number two is feminine. The number two emerges from the unity, which in reality is within the unity. But the number two, the duality, is the way in which divinity multiplies or creates. It is impossible for the unity to create by itself; it does not, it unfolds into two. And That is why in many ways in Kabbalah, you find that there are different names related with different entities, different forces, that always show us the duality, or the two aspects, two polarities; masculine, feminine. And this is because in order for creation to exist we need always the two polarities. Those people that believe in God as masculine and reject the feminine aspect of it, are half-atheists, because God is male-female. So in order for us to be a complete theist we have to understand that we have to worship not only God as masculine, but the Goddess, the Divine Mother, its feminine aspect, in order to be complete. Otherwise, I repeat, we will be half-atheists, because God is male-female." This article is from the free online course The Twenty-two Arcana of Tarot and Kabbalah. Course Description: This free online course is a thorough exploration of the universal principles contained in the twenty-two arcana of the Tarot, the Hebrew letters, and the Kabbalah. "The Tree of Life is the spinal medulla. This Tree of Wisdom is also the ten Sephiroth, the twenty-two creative Major Arcana, letters, sounds, and numbers, with which the Logos (God) created the universe." - Samael Aun Weor This course was originally given live and unscripted on Gnostic Radio. It is accompanied by a great deal of written material, including lecture transcriptions.

A profound, advanced lecture about the heights of the path to heaven and the development of objective reasoning within the superior realms of the Bodhisattva. Pertains to the Initiatic process of Resurrection, the complete psychological death of the ego and perfection within the world of Yetzirah. Also moves into the process of Ascension through the Kabbalistic worlds of Briah and Atziluth, whereby the Resurrected Master enters more elevated realms of consciousness until attaining complete and absolute liberation. Lecture quote: "When we read about the ascension of Jesus in Luke 24:51 and Acts 1: 9-11 regarding how He went to heaven, we read in Greek “Ouranon Poreuomenon” - Ouranon or Uranus meaning heaven and Poreuomenon which means a psychological initiatic development that the Initiate has undertaken. This means that the Bodhisattva - through initiation - went to a place where no believer can go; the Bodhisattva went to those spheres that in Kabbalah are named Sephiroth within the world of Yetzirah, that are hidden from the eyes of the flesh or to that which is earthly, tridimensional." Read the lecture transcription.
