Welcome to the fifth and final day of the Loco Meditation Course. You may have only begun to glimpse how this practice can be useful in your life. But I assure you as you continue that you will find something of real value here. You only have your mind. It’s the basis of everything you experience. It is YOU in each moment. To understand it deeply, not as a matter of theory, but to deeply recognize how consciousness is prior to thinking, or reacting, or trying to change your experience in any way at all....that can be the most important thing you ever learn to do. Many of you may be deciding whether to continue your practice outside of this course. I just want to remind you that we are here as your coaches for everything having to do with your health...and that includes your mindset. Come to us if you're unsure what to do next and we can help you with next steps!
Welcome to the fourth day of the Loco Meditation Course. This is Coach Jay. Before we get started I just want to plug Sam Harris and his app ‘waking up’ which is where much of this stuff is coming from. Today is all about sound. Lets get started!
Live with Coach Jay and Coach Tiff! Where she's coming from, where we're headed, and some lightning round questions. Apologies for the sound quality, we had a mic malfunction!
Welcome to the Third day of the Loco Meditation Course. This is Coach Jay. Before we get started I just want to plug Sam Harris and his app ‘waking up’ which is where much of this stuff is coming from. Throughout this course we’ll be using several methods of meditation, but they all have their foundation in a practice called mindfulness. Mindfulness isn’t really a meditation technique, but a quality of the mind itself. It is really just undistracted attention. The ability to notice sights, sounds, sensations, and even thoughts and feelings, that are arising in consciousness in each moment in a way that isn’t cluttered or connected to anything else you have going on. Today we’ll focus on the physical sensations of your body.

I’ll discuss the whys of this practice later on, But for today I just want you to try it for 5 minutes.
