     Nearly a year before students around the nation submit to the new Common Core standardized tests, the federally-backed program is already causing chaos and confusion at local school board meetings, in the classroom and at the dinner table. We are discussing our opinions on the Common Core Standards and the research we have found to better educate us all on what this means for our children. We will be interviewing a local Teacher for her perspective on the Common Core Standards.     In the News, we are discussing a message that has many outraged saying that the teacher needs to exercise more compassion. The message which was a note sent out to pre k students stating that the children have "unpleasant smells" and "dirty clothes". Tune in to find out more.

      A staggering 8% of children in United States are diagnosed with ADHD. If teachers were able to diagnose students, this percentage would be a lot higher. We are talking all about ADHD. We will be discussing the myths and facts behind ADHD, why teachers think they can play doctors and diagnose are children, and what exactly is ADHD.    In the news we are discussing Angelcare Monitors Inc. for voluntarily recalling 600,000 baby monitors following the death of two infants due to strangulation. After scheduling conflicts, co-hosts issues, and anything else that could go wrong.... the show is back and better than ever! Thanks to all of our devoted fans who have stuck by our side throughout the year even through our break. We hope that you will enjoy the show.   Today I am introducing my brand new co-host "Toni". She is a great mom of 2, is very opinionated, and loves to speak her mind. Although she has never been live on the air I just know that after searching high and low for a good co-host that she will do great!    Spring is in full bloom so it's no wonder we are talking about Gardening. Tune in to hear our advice on starting your own small garden and how to get your kids involved.    Unfortunately, we cannot outlive our pets. Dogs and Cats generally live for 10-15 years, and the goldfish usualy only 1 if your lucky. So how do you cope with the loss of the family pet?
