The Rep podcast is an exceptional show that deserves all the praise it receives. As an avid listener, I have found this podcast to be a breath of fresh air in the media landscape. Hosted by Noor and her team, each episode is a journey where you intimately learn about others while unlearning your own preconceived notions. The storytelling is beautiful and poetic, creating a sense of connection and empathy with each individual's story. The emotional element brought forth in this podcast is often lost in mainstream media, but Noor humanizes representation, reminding us of the stories that unite us rather than divide us.

The best aspect of The Rep podcast is Noor's ability to challenge listeners' way of thinking without overwhelming them. Each episode leaves me in tears and with a profound sense of human connection. It feels like being part of a village, held by elders who share their wisdom and experiences. Noor's storytelling is captivating, drawing listeners into layers of stories that they may not have encountered otherwise. The production value of this podcast is also commendable, with high-quality sound design and music that enhances the overall experience.

While there are few flaws in this podcast, one could argue that it may cater more towards a specific audience familiar with the Muslim American perspective. However, as someone with little knowledge about this culture group, I find immense value in learning from these authentic resources. The episodes provide an enlightening look into the Muslim American perspective and identity, allowing for greater understanding and appreciation.

In conclusion, The Rep podcast stands out as one of the best podcasts I've heard in a while. Noor's storytelling abilities create a beautiful and powerful listening experience that leaves listeners enlightened and awakened to their own humanity. This podcast is not just informative but also healing and community-building. It creates a space where Muslim Americans feel validated, seen, and heard. I am grateful for this groundbreaking podcast and eagerly anticipate future episodes from Noor and her team. Bravo, Noor!

Welcome back to REP. And more specifically – welcome to a guided REP Run. This is a story about what it means to stay in your body, to move through your life experiences, and for the women in this episode, what it really means to be Free. * Our guides for this story are three runners from Afghanistan. It's been two years since the women in this story have seen each other. Their separation was unexpected as the Taliban took over Afghanistan in 2021, and they were of the lucky few who were able to evacuate. And they have miraculously reunited for the first time in the United States to run the New York City Marathon together. * This chapter of REP is brought to you by Right To Run, the social impact program of the sportswear brand On. Right To Run supports Free to Run, an organization that works to change gender norms in conflict areas by supporting girls and women in leadership and wellness through running. * Transcript + Links: www.ays.media/rep/freetorun * Follow on Instagram: @ays @noor @on @freetorunngo --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/rep-series/message
