Leaders are out front to be the example for whatever or wherever there is a need or purpose. When you follow a leader, it is assumed that you agree with their purpose/agenda/mission. If not, then why continue to follow?
We need to do more to check in with the people we love, work with, and/or have on our minds for an extended period of time.
Having eyes but cannot see, ears but cannot hear. A heart that has been dulled and a mind that has been twisted.
Listening to your elders will help you go and grow through change. Especially if the elders are speaking truth to your soul

Leaders should be mindful of the people (children) that are watching their actions more than listening to what they are saying.

Why people cannot break away from unhealthy attachments to love from afar?
People use love as a weapon when God commands that we use it as He does...unconditionally. (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)
We are looking deeper into Romans 14 with a few topics: shifted focus, the idea of perfection, and allowing socially acceptable standards or ideas to change you. V.4: Who are you to judge another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. Indeed, he will be made to stand, for God is able to make him stand.
Many people are not good with change, even though it happens consistently and constantly. When you ask them to consider rethinking an idea or concept that has been a way of life or high standard, the push back is swift and deadly. What if God tells you to do something that is very unpopular or goes against the normal? Will you obey? "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live" ~Deuteronomy 30:19
"But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ" ~2 Corinthians 11:3
Have you ever wondered why leaders get mad when you have questions that they cannot or will not answer? So do we! "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
