Talking Teasers

For the second time, we crashed and burned while going massive on a play in our last episode. Took last week off, but we are back for more action! Now, we rebuild.

Here for week 10 in the NFL, Talking Teasers is back! Had another winning week last week, it may be meager but it's going in the right direction. After looking at this card, we go big this week... putting over all of the profit on the line, so this could be make or break for the season. Bad bankroll management, but bad decisions make good stories. Let's get back to making money!

After a very successful Week 8, Greg hit his teaser and Dan (who's tracking unit win/losses) is up a total 20.4 units on the season. We try and keep the party moving, and begin by covering a bunch of key injuries to think about when laying down Week 9 bets. We then recap what we picked up before discussing survivor picks. As always we cap it off with our teasers of the week. Let's get back to making money!

After taking an unexpected 1 week hiatus, we are back and ready to make some more money!

Kicking off the second quarter of the 2019 NFL season, we are in the black and trying to keep it going. Still alive in survivor, as we try and make it one more week. It's clear we're in full blown Minshew Mania, as Greg's stache is coming in much better than mine, but Jacksonville continues to pay the teasers so I'm going to keep on truckin' with the Shew. Oh, we're hiving a good time this week.... it's Talking Teasers

Greg is out on assignment this week, so it's just Talking Teasers with Dan for now. Still bringing the hotness, I hit 3 teasers last week, a 2 leg, a 5 leg, and 7 leg... winning 22.2 units. That makes for a great first quarter of the season no matter how week 4 goes. I talk a bit about the shifts in the market that are underway for some top teams of interest, before laying out just two teasers this week. Good luck all!

I lost pretty hard last week when Carolina seemed to lose the mental fortitude necessary to go forward one foot. But life must go on, and now we play catchup. Hopefully by now we've finally learned something about these teams, just enough to stop throwing darts like in those first two weeks. Let's get it on... it's week 3 bitches!

Episode three rolls on, winning in survivor, our week-to-week parlay, and the main teaser. Overall a solid week 1 with just one game upsetting us, Seattle not covering -3. Kicking of the regular season, it's week 1, and we couldn't be more excited. The big thing to remember this week is that we the public know very little in week 1, so it's important not to go wild with the bets this week. We lay out some survivor picks, pick'em picks, and three teasers as we welcome back football.

Back for another season of Talking Teasers, we start off by discussing how last season went for our plays. We then go through an exercise of listing our top and bottom 5 teams we'll be watching to bet on this year. We also talk about a few surprises we think we'll be seeing across the season. We round off the episode with some futures betting picks that we'll be trying to cash at the end of the year. We're getting back to making money!

Episode 18 is here with a look at the final week of the regular season in the NFL. There are a lot of good games this week, and we put special attention to a few double digit dogs. We lay it on pretty heavy with 3 different NFL plays this week, sort of a go big or go home mentality to wrap up the regular season. We also throw in a little bonus discussion and a tease on the NCAAF playoffs happening this weekend, with Notre Dame facing Clemson, and Oklahoma facing Alabama. It's a jam packed weekend, so let's talk some teasers!

Episode 17 is delayed due to some technical problems... Upon return from travel the studio computer is fried, so we improvise, adapt, and overcome with a late release this week. We'll be missing out intro music for awhile, which was half the show, but alas we will carry on. We took another beating last week on what was a self-admitted tilt week, losing due to another away game. But we take stock of some valuable lessons learned that hopefully translate into getting back to making money. It's been a roller-coaster, let's keep it going.

Episode 16 is a travel edition, so we apologize for the poor sound quality in advance. After flying too close to the sun we finally lost our mega parlay we had going, that grew a 10 unit bet into 177 before crashing and burning. It was certainly a fun experiment with plenty of lessons learned. Without dwelling too much on the past, we move on to this week's slate. If there were one or two words to describe this current episode, it's "Full tilt", as we go balls to the wall with the end of the season in sight. Do we redeem ourselves? Or do we continue to crash like a drunk in a Ferrari?

Episode 15 kicks of by reflecting on getting destroyed last weekend on our 3 plays. It was an ugly week after a wonderful Thanksgiving, but that's regression to the mean for you. We did have a positive spot though, as the week-to-week single pick parlay is still rolling after winning this week. We keep the action moving with three more plays this week, and put this week-to-week parlay into overdrive putting the whole experiment's bank (started with 10 units, now is 177 units!!!) on a three leg money line parlay for the weekend.

Episode 14 begins by giving thanks for the past Thanksgiving weekend, where we hit all plays except for one leg of one teaser. It was an excellent weekend indeed, as we recap some of the biggest stories that came out of it all. We tally the wins and loss, before looking ahead to the week at hand.
