Carl and Mike come back with reaction to breaking news of the NCAA approval of the top four teams getting the top seeds in the CFP to which Mike believes is strictly about the opportunity to make more money. They then get into more top sports headlines including the Pacers defeating the Knicks in OT in which they both agree the Knicks may not be able to regroup themselves for a Game 2 bounce back. They also share thoughts comments by Roger Goodell in which he seemed to be disappointed in the tush push being tabled.
Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on CFP announcing their will be a straight seeding for the playoffs which means conference championships would no longer be a factor in terms of getting the automatic bye, whereas the top four teams in the CFP rankings will get the byes. Both agree the new system will be good for the game however Mike believes there has to be more consideration of strength of schedule in regards to how teams are ranked.

Carl and Mike briefly share some thoughts on the House vs NCAA settlement in which it has been reported a CEO will be hired to lead a College Sports Commission to oversee college sports. As they discuss, they each state how they feel about the type of person who should be considered for the position as Carl is for it being someone not from the college football world, while Mike believes the person should have experience from within the college sports world.
Carl and Mike come back with thoughts on reactions they are getting from people in regards to their thoughts on Braves making room for Drake Baldwin in the lineup more regardless of pitching matchup. They then get back into a conversation on the College Sports Commission CEO position that is to come out of the House vs NCAA settlement and discuss if there may be some challenges with all schools being on the same page as to what type of regulations will be put in place to even things out in regards to NIL and transfer portal.
