Carl and Mike open up show with Falcons talk as they preview tonight's preseason game with the Titans and share some brief thoughts on what they look to take away from the matchup, noting there are still some position battles worthy of paying attention to. They then react to the news of Michigan being fined, what is expected to exceed $30M, as a result of the ruling in the advance-scouting case against them. As they discuss, they share thoughts on whether or not Jim Harbaugh is getting off scot free as he left the program for the NFL.
Carl and Mike close out the show with final thoughts on the NCAA ruling handed to Michigan in regards to the advance-scouting case against them, agreeing that the program may have gotten off relatively light and their 2023 championship is somewhat tainted.
Carl and Mike come back with some college football talk and share thoughts on comments by Northern Illinois head coach Thomas Hammock in regards to the transfer portal and NIL and what should be important to student athletes and why he believes priorities are being misplaced in the new world of college athletics.

Carl and Mike open up the show with their thoughts on SEC Media Days as Carl comes in believing the run for being the top conference in college football may be coming to an end in regards to how they have been dominate for so many years, as they both agree NIL is allowing the Big Ten prove itself to be just as competitive as the SEC.
Carl and Mike get back into some college football talk and share more thoughts on Georgia's recent commit, Nick Abrams and his comments on why he made the decision to choose Georgia, noting his appreciation for how Kirby Smart and his staff develop players on and off the field.
Carl and Mike come back with more SEC Media Days talk discussing how they noticed this year seemingly did not have any major headlines come out of the four days which led to Carl reemphasizing he believes the SEC's dominance in football may have come to an end. They then get into a discussion on which coaches in the conference Mike believes can be trusted to leave their team to a national championship.
Carl and Mike share thoughts on Greg Sankey's comments during his interview with The Steakhouse as he addressed the Big Ten stating they will not agree to a 5+11 CFP format unless the SEC is willing to add a ninth condefence game.
