The unprecedented third show of new releases this month ends the series not with a whimper but with triumph. These aren’t extras or third-rate fillers. The tracks aired tonight proudly stand next to those played in the first two shows. In fact, this episode is not only the longest but most varied of the trio. Part of the reason for the length, though, is the last minute decision to add a set devoted to today’s release of the reissue of my third favorite album of all time, Let It Be by The Replacements. This new box includes a disc of outtakes and other rarities, along with a live album recorded in Chicago on August 17, 1984. I also added a couple of songs by a band I saw in Minneapolis last Saturday. Playing with our friends the Daniel James Gang (led by former Indonesia Junk front man Daniel James and accompanied by Geoff Palmer on second guitar) and opener Cheap Glue (oh man, I need them to record ASAP), Smart Shoppers are a performance art/punk band from Green Bay, and Shop Among Us is quite fun. There’s also sets devoted to two tribute records this week – Play On: A […]

It's rivalry week. We break down everything you need to know before Packers vs Vikings — a matchup that could decide control of the NFC North. We explain how Jordan Love's quick-game dominance against the blitz gives Green Bay a real edge over a Minnesota defense that leads the NFL in blitz rate. We outline the offensive keys: more play-action on early downs, power-run looks, motion to the left side, and expanded six-OL sets to neutralize pressure.Defensively, we detail how Green Bay can attack rookie QB JJ McCarthy, who leads the league in turnover-worthy plays and struggles badly when blitzed. With Lukas Van Ness returning and Micah Parsons heating up, the Packers have a real chance to force mistakes and flip momentum in the division race.Plus — updates on Quay Walker, Josh Jacobs, Brandon McManus, and the team's ongoing punt-return problem.
Send us a textThe Bums make a triumphant return to the most southernly rail yard with S5:E0139, as the top knot snaps off with Chicago Bears report (us bitching and moaning even though they are atop the NFC North); Green Bay is purportedly already done with head coach Matt “LaFlower” LaFleur (lol); Saquon Barkley in rare air, but still down the list for RB single game yards; a bone is picked with LSU (it goes how you'd expect); Hall of Fame season recounts NHL and MLB awards and noms; while pitching prop bets had a short run; and the first half closes with a somber ending to an Oakland legend's run (he of “Last Chance U” fame — boo).On a brighter note, we're going to drink our sorrows away with another double booze review with “Grid” (ABV 4.75%, yes down to two decimal places) an American Pale Ale from local brewery, Hop Butcher, that tastes great and reeks of Citra & Mosaic hops — followed up by a super rare and special (you can only get it in one place) “Sean Irish Whisky”, a single malt whiskey that is slicker than seal shit on a glacier, another Paddy donation, yum AF; Rocky provides a Sicilian travelogue walkthrough; Russian tech never disappoints; another Chow Report features a classic Chicago tapas place; Rocky rejoices, as loose change starts it's journey to extinction. This week, Mark, Jay, and Cody dive headfirst into one of the wildest stretches of the NFL season. The Rams survive a chaotic finish against Seattle despite Sam Darnold's four-interception meltdown, and the guys debate whether Matthew Stafford and L.A. are quietly becoming a top NFC threat—or just a good team with major defensive holes.Next up: Eagles vs. Lions. Philly's defense dominated, Detroit's offense crumbled, and Cody makes the case that this game said more about the Lions' ceiling than the Eagles' floor. Are the Eagles legit contenders, or just beneficiaries of bad matchups? The real shocker of the week? The Chicago Bears sit alone atop the NFC North. The crew tries to make sense of it—late-game heroics, improved defense, or pure witchcraft? Plus, quick hits on the Blackhawks, Josh Allen lighting up Green Bay, and a Bills playoff push that's suddenly alive. The guys also break down the Chiefs' sloppy 5–5 start, the Broncos' misery, the Jaguars blowing out the Chargers, and whether Joe Burrow should sit for a reset. There's even a speculative blockbuster trade proposal that would send Burrow to Minnesota.Predictions round out the episode: Cowboys over the Eagles, Rams over the Bucs, and why the Bears-Steelers and Chiefs-Colts games could turn the playoff race upside-down. Plus a brief look at Shadur Sanders' struggles and the unstoppable Miles Garrett. And stick around—Howell Brand Hats has a Black Friday drop you don't want to miss.
From chalkboards to tablets, technology has transformed the NFL. Ed also shares the three principles guiding every decision: win football games, keep the Packers in Green Bay, and strengthen the community.

Good afternoon — November 17, 2025. Hosts William Alimonos and Zach Bishop deliver a fast-moving episode loaded with NFL picks, college football shifts, streaming-service drama, and late-night hoops chaos. They open with the long-awaited YouTube TV / Disney / ESPN reconciliation, unpacking ESPN Unlimited integration, DVR restoration issues, and whether YouTube TV has officially become the new “cable hub.” The guys share how it feels to finally have ESPN back, comparing the experience to classic cable days while venting about Red Zone's commercial overload. The NFL dominates the middle of the show: buzzer-beaters, overtime madness, quarterback injuries, and betting angles everywhere. They preview Bills–Texans, Steelers–Bears (with Rodgers' fractured hand and Mason Rudolph implications), Patriots at Bengals, Lions–Giants, Chiefs–Colts, Ravens–Jets, and more. William and Zach lock in picks, break down first-quarter lines, touchdown props (like Henderson and Gibbs), and discuss who to trust in coin-flip games. They also examine the Rodgers timeline and how it reshapes Pittsburgh's season and league-wide QB plans. College football talk covers playoff implications, Notre Dame's huge win at Pitt, Texas A&M's comeback, and the Thanksgiving rivalry slate. In college hoops, they hit Louisville–Kentucky, UConn and Houston's dominance, breakout players, and marquee upcoming matchups like the Champions Classic and Arizona at UConn. The NBA segment brings overtime thrillers, Kevin Durant's clutch performances, rookie flashes (Cooper Flagg, Khan Kadipal), Detroit's surprising win streak, Washington's spiral, and Curry's move away from Under Armour — plus what it means for the future of athlete branding. Throughout the episode, William and Zach mix analysis with personal stories, including attending a freezing Patriots game, on-the-ground reactions, playful jabs, and clear betting rationale. Expect a blend of weekly picks, must-watch lists, streaming rants, league storylines, and entertaining back-and-forth that tells you exactly what matters this week in sports. RJ Bell, Steve Fezzik and Mackenzie Rivers talk NFL betting for week 11. RJ Bell, Steve Fezzik and Mackenzie Rivers break down NFL Week 11 betting, starting with RJ promoting a discounted half-season package and highlighting hot handicappers before diving into matchups, market moves and derivative angles. They discuss Fezzik's strong college football season, best bets from previous weeks, and review wins on Jets spreads, Houston-Denver unders, Washington and Cincinnati games, plus Rams and London totals, noting a streak of strong “spot seven cover” results. McKenzie recounts past real-estate ventures as the trio jokes, then they shift into Week 11 analysis: Bengals second-half performance vs Pittsburgh, predictive metrics showing large first-half/second-half splits, and why Cincinnati +3.5 in the second half is RJ's best bet. They break down Green Bay's injuries, Philly line moves, wide-receiver depth concerns, and how market shifts through key numbers signal anti-Green Bay sentiment. They analyze Tampa Bay vs Buffalo, Baker Mayfield's lack of recent rushing, and whether injury or coaching changes explain performance dips. They touch on Tennessee improving after coaching changes, Kansas City's struggles, and how situational scheduling affects motivation. Fezzik gives his picks: Miami 1Q -130, Ravens-Browns under 39.5, and props including Brock Bowers and McBride overs, with McBride's volume spike under Jacoby Brissett emphasized. RJ questions line discrepancies in receiving props and discusses weather-driven total movement. The group debates quarterback traits, offensive limitations, and matchup-specific vulnerabilities, including Arizona's resilience and aggregate point-loss profile. They note 49ers scenarios, comeback histories, late-game aggression logic and how analytics or simulations contrast with intuitive coaching decisions. They close by previewing next week's recording schedule, recapping picks, and encouraging bettors to time wagers around market-expected weather drops, emphasizing second-half mismatches, injury context and evolving team profiles while keeping the tone humorous and conversational.
