Southeastern 16's Chris Lee and Chase Robinson preview Texas A&M's 2025 football season. Topics include: The Aggies return one of the SEC's best running backs in Le'Veon Moss, whose absence hurt the team dearly when he got hurt late in ‘24. They'll supplement him with three other returnees at the position. Marcel Reed enters his second year as a starter, and will have two impact receiver transfers in North Carolina State's Kevin Concepcion and Mississippi State's Mario Craver who'll help with team speed. Do the Aggies have the SEC's best offensive line? It's possible; left tackle Trey Zuhn, left guard Chase Bisontis, right guard Arm'aj Reed-Adams are all-star candidates. Plus, the Aggies have the two players who started all their games at center last year Mark Nabou Jr., who was knocked out for the year in the opener and replaced with Kolinu'u Faalu) and returning right tackle starter Demetrius Crownover. A&M's struggles against the run on defense led coach Mike Elko to take over play-calling duties this year. The Aggies will build around a pair of stars in All-American linebacker Taurean York and corner Will Lee III. Texas A&M also has talent up front in Cashius Howell and Albert Regis, but need to generate more pass rush. The Aggies have a schedule that isn't among the league's easiest or hardest. Circle the game at Notre Dame in Week 3; if Texas A&M avenges last season's loss, it could be in the driver's seat for a playoff berth.

Southeastern 16's Jay Greeson and Chris Lee preview Vanderbilt's 2025 football season. Topics include: Diego Pavia was one of the most exciting players in college football player, leading Vanderbilt to a winning season and a stunning upset of Alabama. On one hand, Vanderbilt turned the ball over the fewest number of times in the country, and film is out on Pavia, making repeating that unlikely at face value. On the other hand, Vanderbilt invested in a much-better offensive line to protect him, and Pavia spent the second half of last season playing banged up as his numbers declined. With better protection and maybe fewer carries, a healthier Pavia could negate all that and then some. But outside All-American tight end Eli Stowers, is the supporting cast of running backs and receivers good enough for the SEC? Defensively, Vanderbilt is bigger and deeper up front, has stars in linebacker Bryan Longwell, defensive back Randon Fontenette and cornerback Martel Hight, who's joined by a much-deeper cornerback group this year than was the case last season. The Commodores are better on paper a year ago. Will a brutal schedule allow for bowl eligibility again?

Chase Robinson and Jay Greeson preview the Alabama Crimson Tide for the 2025 college football season. Topics Include: The biggest question on this team is starting quarterback and if Ty Simpson can be the guy to lead them to a championship. Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard return at receiver, and they add guys like transfer Isaiah Horton to go along with them. The Alabama defense has a lot of quality depth to go along with stars they have all over the field defensively. There are a lot of high expectations for Kalen DeBoer at Alabama in 2025.
Chase Robinson and Jay Greeson preview the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2025 college football season. Topics Include: Gunnar Stockton stepping in as the starting quarterback after seeing meaningful action in the SEC Championship and in the CFP. Jay Greeson and Chris Lee of Southeastern 16 preview Kentucky football for 2025. Topics include: Zach Calzada transferred down to Incarnate Word, where he tore it up in 2024. After pedestrian play in the SEC, will Calzada have a rebirth in the SEC and perform better than the Wildcats' past transfer quarterbacks? Does Kentucky have enough playmakers around Calzada? Nebraska transfer Dante Dowdell, Alabama transfer Kendrick Law and New Mexico State transfer Seth McGowan are names to watch. The 'Cats look to rebuild the Big Blue Wall with New Mexico State transfer Shiyaz Pete, Arkansas transfer Josh Braun, Bowling Green transfer Alex Wolschaeger and returnee Jager Burton. Coach Mark Stoops added highly-coveted South Dakota transfer Mi'Quest Humphrey-Grace and Kent State's Kam Olds to help the pass rush. Returnees Daveren Rayer and Alex Afari anchor the linebacking corps. Can Mark Stoops get the program headed back in the right direction after last year's 4-8 season that had Kentucky fans wanting a coaching change?

Southeastern 16's Jay Greeson and Chris Lee preview the Arkansas football roster for the 2025 SEC football season, with topics including: Taylen Green was great at times, which helped Arkansas to a top-10 finish in total offense. But the win-loss record didn't match due to turnovers and particularly the team's fumble problem. Fixing this is maybe the biggest key to Arkansas's year. The Razorbacks supporting cast on offense is full of quality players, but are any of them stars? The offensive line added a fantastic pass blocker in Georgia Tech transfer Corey Robinson, allowing coach Sam Pittman to move Fernando Carmona inside and giving Arkansas a good blind-side-protecting duo. The strength of the defense is linebackers Stephen Dix and Xavian Sorey. Can the Razorbacks get improved safety play through Miguel Mitchell and Auburn transfer Caleb Wooden, and will they be able to absorb the loss of Landon Jackson up front? Coach Sam Pittman enters the season on the hot seat. Will Arkansas be able to get bowl eligible with a brutal conference schedule?
The NFC West is stacked with storylines, and we're breaking them all down in this week's season preview. Caleb and Derek assess where each team stands after a wild offseason—highlighting key roster changes, heated position battles, and their “Award Chance or Fired Pants” picks across the division. Can the 49ers maintain their dominance and return to Super Bowl LX in their own backyard? Will the Rams' resurgence continue, or is a reset looming? Are the Cardinals finally ready to make noise again? And how will a revamped Seahawks squad look under center?Plus, major NFL headlines including T.J. Watt's huge payday, Von Miller landing in Washington, Tyrann Mathieu's retirement, and unfortunate news for Will Levis. The Southeastern 16 crew previews the 2025 Auburn football season and gives predictions for what's ahead. Topics include: So much depends on Oklahoma transfer quarterback Jackson Arnold, a top-10 player in high school class whose 2024 season didn't live up to expectations on an OU offense gutted by injury. Will a revitalized Arnold hit his ceiling in Hugh Freeze's offense? He's helped by perhaps the best pass-catching duo the country in Cam Coleman and Georgia Tech transfer Eric Singleton, plus, the return of Malcom Simmons as a capable third wideout. The Tigers return some experience at running back in Damani Austin and Jeremiah Cobb. Auburn returns its middle-of-the-offensive-line starters in Dillon Wade, Connor Lew and Jeremiah Wright, plus talented tackle transfer Xavier Chaplin. Auburn's defense is led by end Keldric Faulk, a preseason All-SEC pick and a potential 2026 NFL first-rounder. The Tigers return Kayin Lee and Jay Crawford off good 2024 seasons, and added another eight transfers who could see time on the two-deep, including Liberty's Jay Hardy and Arkansas State's Keyron Crawford. Coach Hugh Freeze enters the season on the hot seat, and an interesting first-half of the schedule could have a lot to do with how things go for Freeze, who has his most talented Auburn team yet.
In this episode of 32 on 32, ESPN's Marc Raimondi joins Chase Coburn to preview the Atlanta Falcons' 2025 season. We break down the biggest questions facing the team, the development of key players, and whether Atlanta is finally ready to take control of the NFC South. Can the Falcons fly high with their revamped roster and coaching staff? What are the expectations for the 2025 campaign?
Southeastern 16's Chris Lee and Jay Greeson preview the South Carolina Gamecocks for the 2025 season. Topics include: LaNorris Sellers was so outstanding in the second half that he's now considered a future NFL first-rounder. The Gamecocks' hopes revolve around one of the NCAA's fastest-rising stars. The Gamecocks need mega-talent Nyck Harbor to step up. South Carolina has a very experienced offensive line, including some off-season transfer additions. Mainstream expectation is that the defense will take a step back, but Dylan Stewart is one of the country's top defenders and coach Shane Beamer has done an outstanding job of developing defensive talent recently. Carolina has a special-teams rebuild, but that's an area where Beamer excels. Mason Love will be the rare kicker-punter leading the way.

1. In the Broncos eyes, what does a successful step forward for Bo Nix in Year 2 look like? Based on your conversations with folks around the league, what is the overall sentiment about Bo Nix? 2. Based on the latest intel you have, which one of those four players (Courtland Sutton, Zach Allen, Nik Bonitto, John Franklin-Myers) would you say is the most likely to receive a contract extension and which one of those four is the least likely to get one? Is it reasonable to anticipate an extension or two getting done before Week 1?3. Do you see the Broncos and GM George Paton agreeing to an extension some time within the next 12 months, if not sooner?4. In free agency, the Broncos were selective, yet aggressive as they signed four notable players in S Talanoa Hufanga, LB Dre Greenlaw, TE Evan Engram, and RB J.K. Dobbins. While all four signees have had star-studded seasons recently, they also come with high injury risk. Which one of those free agent acquisitions do you think is most important when it comes to helping the Broncos achieve their full potential in 2025?5. What exactly does Jahdae Barron bring to the Broncos defense that was lacking in 2024?6. Is it reasonable for Broncos fans to expect R.J. Harvey to total 1000+ yards from scrimmage this season?7. Do the Broncos see Sai'Vion Jones as a strong candidate to replace John Franklin-Myers in 2026 should the latter depart in free agency?8. While there are currently four EDGE rushers ahead of him on the depth chart, would it surprise you if Que Robinson leapfrogs one of them at some point this season for reasons other than injury?9. If you had to bet today, which one of those four WR's (DeVaughn Vele, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin) would be your favorite to eventually end up in that WR2 role for the Broncos?10. Record-wise, what would you say is the floor and ceiling for the 2025 Denver Broncos?

The Southeastern 16 crew previews the Texas football roster for the 2025 season and gives predictions. Topics include: It's finally Arch Manning time in Austin! A look at what the junior can do in his first year as a starter. Manning will have tons of established offensive weapons, including Tre Wisner, CJ Baxter, Jerrick Gibson, Ryan Wingo, DeAndre Moore, Emmitt Mosley V and Jack Endries. Texas loses a lot of offensive line talent, but Trevor Goosby and DJ Campbell appear to be the stars on a rebuilt offensive line. The Longhorns are loaded in a front seven that includes Ethan Burke, All-American Colin Simmons, Trey Moore and Anthony Hill Jr., and a number of transfers including Travis Shaw (North Carolina), Maraad Watson (Syracuse) and Cole Brevard (Purdue). Southeastern 16's Jay Greeson and Chris Lee preview Tennessee football for the 2025 college football season. Topics include: In case you haven't heard, the Vols have a quarterback change, with Joey Aguilar slated to lead the offense. Tennessee has used three running backs effectively throughout Josh Heupel's career; this year, the Vols return the productive duo of DeSean Bishop and Peyton Lewis and add Duke's Star Thomas in an attempt to replace SEC Player of the Year Dylan Sampson. The Vols don't return a lot of production at wide receiver, but former blue-chip recruit Mike Matthews could have a breakthrough season and tight end Miles Kitselman is a good one. Tennessee added transfers Wendell Moe (Arizona) and Sam Pendleton (Notre Dame) to talented left tackle Lance Heard, who returns. The Vols lost James Pearce Jr. but return a lot of what was a deep front seven last year, with Joshua Josephs, Bryson Eason and Arion Carter leading the way. On the back end, All-American Jermod McCoy, Rickey Gibson and the versatile Boo Carter give Tennessee play-makers there, too. Coach Josh Heupel has always gotten the most out of his rosters. With one of the league's easier schedules, are 10 wins attainable again?
