When you do live within the truths that God has given you, you will lose your true identity and will live a life of lies. More importantly, you will be unhappy. You will make yourself unhappy :(. Is simply being a spiritual person (better, worse, same) than being a religious person? Growing up in a very religious family allowed me to find my spirituality. Now as an adult I am more spiritual than religious. Honestly, I don't really go to church anymore.
