    When disaster strikes, minutes matter, particularly in healthcare. During Hurricane Ian, which made landfall in Florida in late September 2022, hospitals in the storm's path had to both care for patients successfully while keeping clinicians and staff safe. At AdventHealth Altamonte Springs, TeamHealth clinicians in the emergency and hospitalist departments already worked collaboratively each day, and the benefits of this integrated clinical care were even more evident in the response to the category four hurricane.
