Are you good enough? What works does God require of man to be saved? What about after salvation? How does the Christian know he's pulling his weight and truly living up to God's standard? The Judaizers thought they had cornered the market on the answers to these questions, but Paul's answers were the polar opposite from theirs. Paul answers all of this for the Galatians as he lays out God's plan for Christians to live by faith in Christ. Mother's day - Micah Tice & Amber Sublett (5/8/22) by Pastor Aaron Wallace
Angela Dawson has been farming for three years on land near Sandstone, Minn. She describes herself as a fourth-generation “reclamation” farmer, getting back to her ancestors' agricultural roots. “Part of my family is Black and the other is Native American,” Dawson said. “Our history over the last 150 years is layered with a lot of separation and forced moving.” It was in the mid-70s that Dawson's father's family lost their farm in southern Iowa after falling into debt on the rented land. “It was a bit traumatic,” she said. “A lot of my family at first thought I was crazy for wanting to get back into farming because of the trauma that most Black farmers have experienced in the United States.” Courtesy of Angela Dawson 40 Acre Co-op co-founder Angela Dawson speaks to a crowd at a Juneteenth celebration on the farm. Black farmers have experienced discrimination in the United States for the last 150 years. That's decimated the number of Black farmers in the country. But some African American farmers are still trying to connect with their agricultural roots, and at the same time, build a more sustainable and equitable agricultural system. Her family's experience is part of what inspired Dawson to start up the 40 Acre Co-op, a reference to the never fulfilled promise from the Union army that people freed from enslavement should get 40 acres and a mule. It's a cooperative that offers farmers from socially disadvantaged backgrounds support and resources to succeed in the field. As of now, the co-op has about three dozen active members across the country and many more on a waiting list. Dawson said it's time for people in the state, including those involved with traditional agricultural co-ops, to start taking issues of equity seriously. “Let's find a better way to talk about quality of life here in Minnesota for all of us, and to find ways to address some of these systemic issues that have long kept us from all achieving the same quality of life that we all deserve,“ Dawson said. Discrimination built into the system What Dawson's father experienced wasn't unique. The number of Black farmers in the country has plummeted from about a million a century ago, to just about 45,000 now, according to U.S. Department of Agriculture statistics. That accounts for just 1.3 percent of farmers in the country. This wasn't just a coincidence, said historian Pete Daniel, who authored a book called “Dispossession,” which documented the struggles of Black farmers to hold onto their land. After slavery was officially abolished in the United States, he said Black people overcame prejudice, terror and discriminatory policies to actually control significant tracts of land. Since 1920, Black farmers have lost tens of millions of acres of land. A study released this year put the value of this lost land at $326 billion. Part of the loss is due to how the agricultural system started to change in the 1930s. And the New Deal was a major influence, Daniel said. Whereas before, Black farmers could sue in court for inequitable treatment. The New Deal created county committees made up of local elites in each county, who were typically white. Those committees controlled land and federal loans. “They had the power to manipulate the county acreage, to give more acres to the people who they favored and to take away acres from the people they didn't favor, who were a lot of times the Black farmers,” Daniel said. “African American farmers had no representation and very little chance to appeal anything, so they were vulnerable to this system.” At the same time, the Department of Agriculture was prioritizing the modernization of American agriculture. So their policies emphasized the use of things like chemical fertilizers or mechanization, which were out of reach of smaller farmers who didn't have access to large amounts of money or federal loans. Daniel said mechanization of farms meant large landowners no longer needed as many workers on the land, so sharecroppers were thrown out of work, moved into town or even moved north, further decimating the numbers of Black farmers. And this trend didn't slow after the New Deal. These systems continued on for decades. Until they resulted in a class action lawsuit from Black farmers in the late 1990s. The farmers won the case, which is known as Pigford v. Glickman, but the terms of the consent decree limited only to farmers who could provide evidence of discrimination by the USDA between 1981 and 1996, severely limiting the impact. More debt relief funding for Black and minority farmers in the recent American Rescue Plan was blocked after lawsuits from white farmers. “I can't hardly find anything that's not profane here,” Daniel said of the lawsuit, “but it's just chicken****.” These are some of the systemic policies that contributed to a drastic decline in the number of farmers both across the country and in Minnesota. As of the most recent state agricultural survey, there were only 38 Black-owned farms in the state. Black on mostly white farmland Tim Evans for MPR News Henry Mitchell and his daughter Peace Mitchell pose for a portrait with wreaths made of balsam fir and jack pine trees grown on their Wadena family farm on April 20. It wasn't just the official systematic discrimination that Black farmers faced, especially in the heavily white rural Minnesota of decades past. Henry Mitchell grew up picking cotton in Mississippi, started a blues singing career in Memphis that brought him to a ski resort out west. That's where he met his future wife, Maren Mitchell, who came from a farm in Minnesota. Mitchell and his wife moved to a hippie commune in northern Minnesota, but after being converted by evangelicals, they started a farm in Wadena County. Tim Evans for MPR News Farmer Henry Mitchell shows an old photograph of his wife, Maren Mitchell, and children, Peace Mitchell, Isaac Mitchell, Samuel Mitchell, and Peter Mitchell, gathered on their Wadena County farm in the 1970s. As a farmer, Mitchell specialized in mushrooms. He said the first season was a “booming success.” He had fans of his mushrooms coming up from the Twin Cities suburbs just to get them: “I mean, I couldn't raise them fast enough.” His daughter Peace Mitchell remembers what it was like growing up on that farm. “My mom loved horses, so we had quarter horses. We had chickens and ducks and pigs, I mean, we had all kinds of animals,” she said. “It was pretty cool.” But growing up, Peace Mitchell remembers feeling slightly tokenized in the mostly white, rural community. “I, and my brothers, were the only brown kids in my school,” Peace Mitchell said, noting that the people in the area were always very nice. “I think that we were always like mascots, but in a way, you're always like a novelty.” Tim Evans for MPR News Peace Mitchell shows an old family photo of her and her mother, Maren Mitchell, in Wadena County in the 1970s. Tim Evans for MPR News An old family photo of Henry Mitchell in Wadena County in the late 1960s. Tim Evans for MPR News Peace Mitchell shows an old family photo of her and her father, Henry Mitchell, in Wadena County in the 1970s. Henry Mitchell said his farm did well. He and his wife picked up jobs in town to supplement their income. But it wasn't always easy. He said he'd largely learned how to shrug off racial slurs, but one day a man in a bar threatened to kill his family. Mitchell said the man was motivated by racism. “I was minding my own business when I went to get just a cheeseburger and they started talking,” Henry Mitchell said. “Nobody is going to tell me what they're going to do to me or my family and walk away.” Mitchell shot and wounded the man, and was later found not guilty. But he said he learned to find peace with people in the mostly white community, and insists that there were way more good people in the area than bad. Tim Evans for MPR News Henry Mitchell poses for a portrait in Brooklyn Park on April 20, 2022. Even now, Henry Mitchell said he can't wait to get back to farming. He's hoping to do that at his old farm, where his daughter and her family have started a tree farm with plans to do more farming. They're envisioning it as a retreat for people who want to learn about agriculture. Carrying on the legacy Jon Collins | MPR News Eugene Sublett and Luella Williams show a photo of the farm they grew up on. The experience of Black farmers in the state isn't uniform. Eugene Sublett and his family moved to a farm in 1970 when he was a young teenager. His father, who is also named Eugene, retired from the railroad, and had always been interested in farming. Sublett remembers what it was like moving from a Black middle-class family life in south Minneapolis to a rural farm with ducks, pigs, chickens and cows. “Twice a day every day milking cows and all the things that go with that: cleaning the barn, doing the crops, harvesting the crops, baling hay, getting everything ready,” Sublett said. “So it was a lot of work, and I think for the four of us, it was quite a transition.” Jon Collins | MPR News The Subletts on their farm near Ogilvie, Minn. in Kanabec County. (Seated) Eugene, (from right) Eugene, Delcie and Luella. Neither Sublett nor his sister Luella Williams remember any overt discrimination at the time, which they chalk up partly to the fact that their father, who was a minister, was famously gregarious. After their father experienced health problems, more of the farm chores fell to the children and their mother. After the elder Sublett died in 1983, they sold off the final animals. But Williams said she still carries lessons from her time on the farm. “I learned how to value and cherish things. Where today, kids don't like to value,” Williams said. “We worked for everything we got. And that's one thing I can say that came out of the whole ordeal.” Sublett and Williams bring their families to the land now, and still do some gardening there, sharing the farm they grew up on and their experiences with younger relatives. Angela Dawson, who said she still experiences discrimination in trying to get resources like federal loans, said her father was traumatized by losing the family's Iowa farm and lost touch with her family for years afterwards. She said her dad only ever really wanted to farm. “He can't be in the city too long, he's not really into the trappings of urban life,” Dawson said. “I think there were a lot of people who never really adjusted to urban living.” But Dawson's father, who was the last member of his family to be removed from their Iowa farm when their family lost the land, is planning to stay with them at their farm later this year. She's hoping to learn from her experience, as she carries on the family legacy. North Star Journey Celebrating Minnesota communities Pass the Mic What should we cover next?

In Episode 35, Brett interviews Carla Piñeyro Sublett, Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President of IBM on a heart-opening experience that radically altered the dynamic of her business and personal relationships. Carla came from a mindset that doing self work was self-indulgent. Stemming from that belief, she took on the role of being a manager of herself, her emotions and others around her. Through a sequence of transformative self-discoveries, she uncovered a greater capacity for love that was immediately felt and reflected back to her by her family and colleagues. In this episode, we follow Carla on an exploration of how making space to allow her own feelings to be felt invited others to do the same, thereby shifting the dynamics of her relationships both to herself and others into profound alignment."As I was going up on stage, one of my peers grabbed me and he said hey Carla, I am going to tell you something. I said what. He said I love you. That just doesn't happen. It is wild but since doing this work, not only have I felt differently, somehow it has given people the permission to be their authentic selves and be open with me."**Full transcript can be found here: https://artofaccomplishment.com/2021/12/03/episode-35-carla-pineyro-sublett-on-finding-compassion-in-self-indulgence/Follow us on Instagram at @artofaccomplishment to learn more about our guests and share your own experiences.

In this episode of the Futurum Tech Webcast, my colleague Steven Dickens and I took a dive into the goings on at IBM this past week. Obviously, the big news coming out of IBM with an announcement late in the day on Friday last, was the news of IBM president and former Red Hat CEO Jim Whitehurst stepping down. This came as a surprise to many, as Jim was largely viewed throughout the industry as a likely successor to IBM CEO Arvind Krishna within a few years. The IBM board, and Krishna, however, had other plans and Krishna is clearly not at all close to done with what he aims to accomplish at IBM. In a Barrons' interview this week, Whitehurst shared that he's not done building things and that he wants another chance to be a CEO again. He realized, when IBM's board of directors chose Krishna as chair as well as CEO earlier this year, that wasn't going to happen at IBM. Whitehurst is a talented leader and there is sure to be no shortage of companies interested in scooping him up. This will be fantastic to watch play out. My colleague, Steven Dickens, shared thoughts based on feedback he's gotten from former colleagues at IBM, who were also fairly surprised by this news. We discussed the potential impact of this change on the Red Hat employees and community, who are a pretty tight group, and of course very supportive of Whitehurst. IBM shares are down 5% since the company announced Whitehurst's departure, and it's clear that the longtime Red Hat CEO is incredibly valued by the investor community – and the tech community. Massive Transformation Underway at IBM We moved on from the Whitehurst conversation and tackled some of the many other changes happening inside IBM. The company is clearly undertaking some massive transformation, focused on regaining market relevance and of course growing revenues. And massive transformation most often requires some significant changes. We also discussed some of the many changes afoot at IBM that Steven has some insider experience with, including the company's transformation of the marketing function under new CMO Carla Piñeyro Sublett and the nuances of some of those changes, along with an overview of the somewhat radical transformation IBM's IT team is undergoing under Kathryn Guarini, the company's new CIO.

Two great stories from the old west! 1) THE LEGEND OF THE LOST SUBLETT MINE They thought Old Ben Sublett was crazy when he rolled into the town of Odessa Texas and persisted in saying that one day he would come back from his weeks of prospecting in the Guadalupes with a wagon full of gold. Those mountains were full of Apaches and rattlesnakes- but not gold. They had no idea that Old Ben had been a Texas Ranger and won medals fighting for the Confederacy.- and when he said he could do something he was more than talk. 2) THE BLACK SEMINOLE SCOUTS OF TEXAS- Their people had been driven out of Florida to a barren wasteland in the Midwest, then cheated out of what they were promised. Mexico offered them land and freedom if they would just fight Apaches and Comanches who were raiding across the US border- so they migrated to Mexico. But politics changed, and Mexico didn't keep their promises either.. Finally, the US Army offered more promises- join us as Indian scouts and you'll get property, pay, and your families will be fed. After four them won the Medal of Honor for valor they still found themselves fighting for what they had been promised, but no one would ever question their bravery. The company formerly known as National Instruments is known simply as NI. Is that a big deal? Maybe, depending on who you ask. So I asked Carla Piñeyro Sublett, NI’s Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager of the company’s Portfolio Business. As expected, there’s far more to it than a simple name change. Tune in to this week’s Embedded Executives podcast to learn what it actually means.

NI is a B2B company in the engineering world formerly known as National Instruments, it makes automated test and measurement systems for a range of industries, from auto to wireless, energy to manufacturing equipment. In June NI launched its rebranding campaign. NI's CMO Carla Piñeyro Sublett tells MediaPost's Brand Insider this week how the company handled that rebranding.
Adam Sublett is an Account Manager at Benchmark Craftsmen - a trade show display builder that has been working with some of the largest brands in the US for decades. Adam talks about pivoting for survival during this pandemic. Adam started full time at Benchmark in 2007, but has always been involved in the industry being third generation in the business. His career started on the service side supervising installations and dismantles of tradeshow booths and other exhibits all over the country. After that, Adam took what he learned on the road and relayed that experience into managing production for the better part of a decade. He has managed key accounts for the company over the past few years including Diebold Nixdorf in North Canton, Ohio and Harley-Davidson Motor Company in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Most recently, Adam has been focusing on the overall operations of the company. Adam's top tips: Tip #1 – Be steady and kind. The work we do in the trade show industry is challenging enough, certainly it can be stressful at times – a bad attitude makes that 10x worse. That’s something I have been trying to work on myself over the past few years (some days are better than others, admittedly). Try to have some fun with it all. Tip #2 - Travelers out there – keep a notebook and write down all the cool restaurants or scenic spots that you go to. I feel like I failed miserably at this early in my career when I was traveling a lot – I would go to some great restaurant and never bother to write the name down. I would always try to remember that spot the next time I was in that particular city – and I never could. I worked with a guy that did actually keep a restaurant journal and now I have to bother him every time I travel and get the name of a cool spot in Chicago or Atlanta. The top 1-2 takeaways you have for the listeners I think as an industry, we find ourselves in a frustrating situation that we can not just work harder, or longer to fix the problem. Our industry is not loaded with patient people, I know I am not – but that is what we have to do right now. We are born problem solvers, so it is hard for us all to sit and spectate from the sidelines. I think that our community has been impacted harder than most other industries during this time. We were one of the first to be shut down and will most likely one of the last back to relevance. I think it’s important to reach out to our elected officials and ask that they support the live events industry in the coming months. For so many small businesses, it is literally one day at a time and we will need the help to stay alive until live events return. Check out the HiVe 360 demo: (https://benchmark-virtual.com/DEMO/) The HiVe 360° online experience is a tool to communicate, connect and engage. HiVe 360° expands your message. Renegade Thinkers Unite: #2 Podcast for CMOs & B2B Marketers
A rebrand is not a campaign, it’s a new direction. That’s why NI (previously known as National Instruments) brought on their first-ever CMO, Carla Piñeyro Sublett—they wanted someone to guide them through the brand refresh process, to shake up their foundation and challenge their entire business strategy for the better. Knowing that this would be a bold undertaking, Piñeyro Sublett and her team, with full C-Suite support, worked from the outside-in. Then, with the help of an outside marketing agency, a cross-functional internal team, six months of brand strategy planning, 800+ interviews, and a month of employee prep, NI initiated an electrifying process of discovery for the business—one whose identity is encapsulated in two powerful, purpose-packed words: “Engineer Ambitiously.” This episode is a special one, as NI live-streamed the launch this week in a global celebration of their new brand. Tune in to hear about how they did it, you won't want to miss it!
Carla Piñeyro Sublett is the Chief Marketing Officer at NI, an Austin-based tech company that is publicly traded with revenues of more than $1 billion annually and more than 7,700 employees. She is the former Chief Marketing Officer at Rackspace where she helped define the corporate strategy, pioneered a new visual identity, and doubled the company’s brand awareness. Prior to her role at Rackspace, she spent 15 years at Dell in a variety of executive leadership roles across sales, marketing, and operations. In this episode, she talks about NI's recent rebranding and its focus on "Engineering Ambitiously."
MRS. NORTH CAROLINA. Ok, Ok, I am from North Carolina and this was HUGE for me for many reasons. I happen to LOVE Chapel Hill where Nichelle Sublett cheered and I wrote my book, Birth Story: Pregnancy guidebook + journal, with the Director of Obstetrics from Chapel Hill. Our paths crossed across multiple life stories from pharmaceutical sales to fertility and it was a pleasure to sit down and dig in. Nichelle is 5'3 and had never done pageants (for the record I had to google how to spell the word pageant :) ) before becoming Mrs. North Carolina. She and her husband Harold, had a long, tumultous journey to their baby Hudson that went on for almost a decade. She was finally diagnosed with PCOS and then went on a journey of all the things, IUI, IVF, natural pregnancies, 5 miscarriages, DNC, DNE, clomed, cytotec, cervidil......the list goes on and on of all of the things her body and their marriage went through to get to baby Hudson. Her platform for Mrs. North Carolina became about fertility awareness and today she proudly shares her story to help young women get fertility assessments early. Her hashtag #startasking has been used over 5,000 times. Little Hudson was frozen for 2 years and was transferred via IVF in December of 2018. We talk all about pivoting during her birth plan and what it was like to have a C-section. Her favorite baby product is the Haaka which helps catch milk on your breast you are not nursing on if you are prone to leaking. This is the Engineering Culture Podcast, from the people behind InfoQ.com and the QCon conferences. In this podcast recorded at Agile 2019, Shane Hastie, Lead Editor for Culture & Methods, spoke to Howard Sublett about the current and future state of the Scrum Alliance. Why listen to this podcast: • When organisations and teams adopt Scrum effectively the difference in atmosphere and attitude to work is palpable • There is still a lot of faux-agile/scrum where practices are adopted without the mindset shift • The Scrum Alliance have appointed Howard as the Chief Product Owner, responsible for defining the what and the why of the organisation, and Melissa Bloggs as the Chief Scrum Master responsible for the how of implementation • The Scrum Alliance has moved to a self-selected, cross-functional team model based around customer segments • With7 billion people working in the world today, even with 1.2 million people certified in Scrum, there’s still a huge amount of work to be done to improve the world of work for the majority of people More on this: Quick scan our curated show notes on InfoQ https://bit.ly/2TUCTcf You can also subscribe to the InfoQ newsletter to receive weekly updates on the hottest topics from professional software development. bit.ly/24x3IVq Subscribe: www.youtube.com/infoq Like InfoQ on Facebook: bit.ly/2jmlyG8 Follow on Twitter: twitter.com/InfoQ Follow on LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/company/infoq Check the landing page on InfoQ: https://bit.ly/2TUCTcf
Towards the end of 2018, The Scrum Alliance restructured its organization around a new leadership model. Howard Sublett returned to the Scrum Alliance as Chief Product Owner and shortly after that, Melissa Boggs joined as Chief Scrum Master. In these new roles, they are truly leading an effort to change the world of work. In this episode of the podcast, I had a chance to check in with Melissa and Howard on how the change is going. We discuss the changes made to the way the Scrum Alliance is organized around a team model, where individuals select areas they are most passionate about and teams where they can add the most value. We also talk about how this change has impacted each of them personally, digging into the things they are most proud of, the areas they are still working on, and lessons they have learned along the way. You can catch up on all of this by checking out their Unscripted posts (see the link below.) During the course of the interview, Dave and Howard discuss Dan Pink’s opening keynote at the Scrum Gathering; the Scrum Alliance Labs and volunteer work that have been done to create a free library of material aimed at helping to develop a more mature and more highly-skilled agile coaching community; an update on how things are going with the recent shift in Scrum Alliance leadership moving to a Chief Scrum Master and Chief Scrum Product Owner instead of a traditional leadership model; and the video series Unscripted, which features updates from Howard and Melissa Boggs, the Scrum Alliance Chief Scrum Master. Note from Dave: at 15:38, something really important in this interview happens. Howard refers to a question he asked Melissa during the first episode of Unscripted. The question was “How are WE doing as a LEADER?” It is a subtle thing, but language is a virus and words matter… “WE” is plural, while “LEADER” is singular. The way the question is encoded demonstrates a very subtle, but important aspect of an Agile mindset. Howard and Melissa have complimentary but different roles in the Scrum Alliance and the two of them together function as a single Leader. Failure Bow: I got The Wonder Twins (Zan and Jana) a little confused during the interview. I have brought shame upon my family and apologize to any comic geeks who were listening. “In this Agile space,” says a familiar voice, “we’ve been talking for years about pair programming and pair coaching; basically, this is pair leadership.” The voice belongs to former long-time host of Agile Amped, Howard Sublett, who left his position as Community Lead at Accenture | SolutionsIQ to become the first ever Chief Product Owner of the Scrum Alliance. In this episode, Sublett talks about his experience sharing the responsibility of leading the Scrum Alliance with Chief Scrum Master Melissa Boggs. “We have a shared responsibility to lead the organization. Neither can be successful without the other.” Sublett and Boggs are “legally co-CEOs” for the non-profit organization so familiar to agilists around the world. The pair is out to experiment and lead in ways never before seen. “Yes, we’re going to make some mistakes but by God we don’t want to make brand new mistakes; we want to make mistakes that no one else have ever made before, because we had the courage to try.” Howard shares his perspective of the future for the Scrum Gathering, including the many global events they are sponsoring. Accenture | SolutionsIQ’s Roxi Ozolins reprises her role as host on this special episode, after recording “Building an Agile Culture” with Sublett at the beginning of his tenure at the Scrum Alliance. The Scrum Alliance recently made a very significant change in how the organization is run. After years of running with a traditional leadership model, the Scrum Alliance, whose mission is “Change the World of Work” has decided to shift to a model with a Chief Product Owner and a Chief Scrum Master. As you’ll hear in this podcast, it is a model that is already inspiring leaders from other organizations to make a similar change. This podcast features an interview with the new Scrum Alliance Chief Product Owner Howard Sublett. Howard is a dynamic an inspiring servant leader who was involved with the Scrum Alliance early on before moving into Agile consulting. He joined the Scrum Alliance Board of Directors several months ago and will now be helping to shape and define the role of Chief Product Owner. During the conversation Howard and I talk about the significance of the role, what it involves, how it has inspired others, what the Scrum Alliance is looking for in a Chief Scrum Master and some of the recent changes to the SA Board of Directors that came about as a result of him taking on his new gig. There is gold in the Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas. There has been tiny gold nuggets and gold dust coming out of the Apache stronghold for years, but there is one mother lode that has alluded prospectors and treasure seekers ever since. The winding mountains, the twisted trails and the crooked streams are physical parallels to the story of a lost mine, filled with gold nuggets. This is Unsolved Mysteries of the World, the Lost Sublett Mine of Texas See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

What made Austin the city we know today? Eddie Wilson saw the Texas capital transform from a sleepy college town into a global purveyor of music culture, all while booking and housing seminal bands of the 1970s, serving Southern cuisine, and shilling a record-breaking amount of Lone Star beer. The story of the Armadillo World Headquarters includes rollicking tales of what Eddie calls, "a roller coaster of despair and wonder": trying to schedule anything with detail-averse Jerry Garcia, charming Frank Zappa after a 17-minute sound check, accommodating Van Morrison's cravings for the 'Dillo's famous shrimp quesadillas, and so many more 'Keep Austin Weird' moments that helped define Austin's lifestyle, cutlure, and identity. We are joined in this conversation by Jason Mellard, the Assistant Director of the Center for Texas Music History at Texas State University–San Marcos and author of Progressive Country: How the 1970s Transformed the Texan in Popular Culture.

2016 Harding Lectureship - Holy Holy Holy: Living in the Presence of God
In August 1980, an extortionist planted a thousand-pound bomb in Harvey’s Wagon Wheel Casino in western Nevada. Unless the owners paid him $3 million within 24 hours, he said, the bomb would go off and destroy the casino. In this week's episode of the Futility Closet podcast we'll describe the tense drama that followed and the FBI's efforts to catch the criminal behind it. We'll also consider some dubious lawn care shortcuts and puzzle over why a man would tear up a winning ticket.
